From the first call to follow up calls the individual on the phone is pleasant and efficient. I have never had a parent or child complaint to me about the care they received. They verbalized, that they where happy and thankful. The clinic not only cared for their child but they also have a doctor now. The clinic has a benefits department where a staff member meets with individuals and helps them apply for insurance. I am grateful that as a nurse we have this center for families in the GREATER New Bedford Area. Jo-Anne M.

I advised him to go to Hawthorn Medical Urgent Care but he wanted to go somewhere closer to home. Anyhow we got there at 7:02 a.m. and we were waiting and a women comes out with an attitude and said "I'm not open yet, you have to wait"! With that attitude, I turned to my son and said, please lets go to HM, which was the best thing we did. The receptionist was very pleasant and took him in right away. I never complain but its not what she said, its how she said it. She could've said "I'm sorry but I am not open at the moment but will be with you shortly (with a smile). If you are not happy with your job, do not take it out on the patients!

When the kids are truly sick (not just your typical stuff), he calls me at night and on the weekends to check in on them. Whenever I need an appointment, I know that I can always get seen that day - they have never turned me away. His staff are great! We have seen them out and about, and they know my children and greet them by name. When I call, they know us by name and understand our issues. My nieces, now adults, have also gone to him. He literally saved my niece's life. While her previous pediatrician was turning her away and just sending her home, saying she had mono, Dr. Elhaddad recognized that she had pneumonia and told them to go right to Hasbro Children's, where she ended up in the ICU. While some reviews are negative, they have only interacted with him for literally minutes! Take it from someone who has known about him for 20 years and with him for 14 years. His office may not be aesthetically pleasing, but it is clean. He is knowledgeable, kind, patient, and caring!

What really upset me about my last visit is how dirty the place is. I can understand if he was treating adults but its infants and little kids that they're seeing there. Hire a cleaning service company for gods sake. Bathroom had white spots all over mirror and wall, there was no soap, bleach visible to kids in there. I'm the waiting room nails coming out of the wall, the heating board is disgusting and out place. The list can go on and on. NOT A GOOD IMAGE NOR TREATMENTS. needs to improve dramatically.

I had to cancel two different appointments due to them being so late coming into our room. Further more, they're the ones calling people into the office when the rooms are "ready" , the doctors and nurses should be ready as well! On top of all that. We've now been here an entire hour and a half and we're sitting here twiddling our fingers , our nurse came in to say, she can get her second dose now and that she'd be back in a moment .... Literally feel like we'll be here another hour considering we have to stay an extra 20 mins after the medicine is given to her to make sure she doesn't have a reaction. Meanwhile my child is done being in this office and it's been almost 2 HOURS since her scheduled appointment ! Definitely considering switching both of my children out of this place

I will say over the years this hospital has evolved. I walked into the ER with some of the worst abdominal pain I've ever felt in my life. I was put in a room within 15 minutes, vitals taken, and waiting for a nurse. The wait was no more than a half hour. I explained what was going on and she said the doctor would be in to talk with me, the wait on the doctor was 10-20 minutes that felt like forever because I was in so much pain, but looking back I am grateful To have been seen as quickly as I was. We ruled out things with imagining and blood work, ultimately we found what was going on and I was in emergency surgery shortly afterwards. Both the ER staff and surgery team that night were so compassionate, understanding and informative. Despite it being midnight they even let my fiancé come see me for accouple minutes before and after the surgery, they were showing her the same level of compassionate and care they showed me. Plus it was helpful to have her answer some questions for me as I was sleepy from pain meds. I deducted a star for the nurses in the unit I was staying in after my surgery. The overnight staff were great, and made sure all my needs were met, including water blankets, helping me in and out of the bathroom. But the switch in staff in the morning wasn't the best. I was discharged with no clear aftercare instructions , I had to ask when I could return to work as she excused me for just the day I had surgery, and then had to walk out to the lobby after having surgery with no support, but to be fair maybe I wasn't vocal enough about my needs I was just ready to Get out of there.

I had an adverse reaction to the Doxy so they took me off of that and the tacrolimus and put me on clindamycin. The clindamycin made my skin worse so I texted them to see what I could do. No response. I then called and was instructed to go back on the tacrolimus. I offered to come in and be seen again, but I was told it wouldn't be needed and to just do the tacrolimus. A month later, I go in for my appointment today and expressed my frustration about my skin only getting worse. Susan told me the tacrolimus is not a treatment for my skin condition...... okay so why did you put me on it? I'm then gaslit and told that she never told me to go back on the tacrolimus..... which she did, and the lovely girl who did my intake even confirmed during that time that she remembered helping me with my concerns about the doxy and clindamycin. I told Susan I am reluctant to do any additional treatments with her because I was under the impression that I have been on medication for the past month and unbeknownst to me, I was not. She told me she is starting me on a new medication. When I asked why I wasn't put on this after the clindamycin if the tacrolimus wasn't an appropriate treatment and she told me she couldn't start me on the new meds without seeing me again (which I offered to come in and was told it wasn't needed). The rest of the staff was fantastic, but it is so frustrating and disheartening to be written off and gaslit but the person you are trusting to help you feel better. Edited to add: Now we are at today 10/30. I finally got a culture and biopsy done last week and found out I have had an untreated staph infection for the past AT LEAST 3 months, potentially up to 6 months because that is when the rash began. I told Susan at my first appointment that I had a staph infection in April and the rash started after that and she still refused to biopsy or culture and insisted it was just dermatitis or rosacea. If you care about yourself or your health at all DO NOT SEE SUSAN! The rest of the staff I have spoke to has been lovely and amazing, but Susan is a gaslighter and does not care about the well being of her patients. I genuinely feel as though I was a victim of medical malpractice. I am a veterinary assistant and see skin issues in dogs and cats all day every day. When there is an issue in the skin, we sample it. Whether it be through cytology, culture, or biopsy. To ignore my request for culture over and over and then back peddle when you realize you were wrong is pure medical neglect.
