So if you're going to take him somewhere, it better be a place where there are fun things like cars for seats and TVs with unlimited cartoons on them. And most importantly, a post-cut balloon on stand by. We just moved to the area from Tampa, where we had a Sharkeys that was practically walking distance from our house. While this Sharkeys is a few miles away, I think it will be our to-go until he can appreciate the finer things in life like a straight razor cleanup at a barber shop. This particular haircut was probably the one he disliked the most, for whatever reason. And the person who cut his hair (her name escapes me, unfortunately) dealt with our crazy toddler like a champ. His crying and rapid movements really did not phase her and his cut ended up looking great. He pretty much cried from the moment we put him in the chair until he was given the aforementioned balloon to celebrate the torture being over. We'll be back and hopefully, we've seen the worst of his outbursts during haircuts.

She does a fabulous job every time. She is a great stylist and a really kind person as well. She's very laid back, relaxed and is not loud or boisterous. She is easy to talk to and to converse with. Her prices are very good too, better than the salons in Willis. I highly recommend her for women and men. She used to cut my son's hair as until he relocated to a different city. She always did a really good job on his hair as well. Switch Hair Studio is a very cute place. There are lots of older furnishings and decorative items in the shop, like kind of an art deco/Frank Lloyd Wright vibe. It is really interesting to look at all of the items and reminisce about seeing similar items in my childhood home. The shop is always neat and clean. Salon Warning!!!…read more Do not go to Papillon salon in Conroe. Took my 10 year girl to get a haircut & to say that they butchered her hair is being kind with my words. B is so depressed about her hair & the fact that she may have to have a short hair cut in order to fix it, which she's does not want. She tried wearing a hat to cover it up & even a messy bun because she's so embarrassed, she should not feel embarrassed from a so called professional stylist!!! The owner of the salon, Keri Storie, would not offer a refund because she guarantees her stylist work. GUARANTEES????? Really?!?! I no longer have faith in her salon or the stylist professionals she chose to represent her salon. So I will have to pay another stylist to fix her hair. I am so very disappointed in Keri and her salon & so called professional stylist. She also had the audacity to imply that my daughter must have had her cut by friends at school, bc surely her stylist could not have done that job ...that's admission that it was bad!!I took the picture that same day as the haircut when we got home, this provides a clear picture of her integrity & character to blame my child or someone else for the cut...seriously, what can of person does that?!?!
