I am writing this review specifically regarding the manager on duty during my visit…read more For approximately 20 minutes while I was inside this McDonald's, I watched this manager stand in essentially the same spot, on his phone, while the rest of the employees were actually working around him. What made it worse was that his position appeared to be physically getting in the way of employees who were trying to move around and do their jobs. A manager is supposed to lead by example, assist the team when needed, and help keep the restaurant operating efficiently. What I witnessed was the complete opposite. The employees working deserved better support from the person who was supposed to be managing them. My question is directly for the owners of this franchise: Is this the level of management you aspire to hire and allow to run your stores? Customers notice these things. More importantly, employees notice them too. If this is considered acceptable behavior from management, it reflects very poorly on the leadership and standards of this location. I hope the franchise owners actually review this situation and address it rather than simply sending a generic response. Your hardworking employees should not have to work around a manager who appears more interested in his phone than helping his team. f it weren't for the very kind lady at the register named Beatrice, I probably would have left a one-star review. She was extremely nice and actually took the time to ask me if my drink was good. And yes, Ms. Beatrice, it was great. Her attitude and customer service were the best part of my visit. I do wish I had asked for the manager's name, but I honestly felt that doing so might have caused unnecessary problems for Beatrice or put her in an uncomfortable position, and I didn't want that. She deserves recognition for being polite, attentive, and professional.
