Excellent staff & doctors | Great care…read more I was scheduled last minute for an early ultrasound here. I took a canceled ultrasound right before Thanksgiving and am super grateful to get in! Chandry, our sonographer, greeted us and was very sweet and kind. She was very professional and explained what we were looking at in my belly. She was very patient too. I highly recommend her and hope I get her again one day (if I return to this location). Afterward, we were taken in 15 minutes early to see Dr. Cassie who was also very knowledgeable. She explained to me what was causing my spotting/bleeding after seeing I have a subchorionic hemorrhage in the ultrasound images. She reassured me that while it isn't normal it is common and most women end up having perfectly fine pregnancies with healthy babies. She explained to me that my baby is developing just fine, so there wasn't a need to worry. I had an excellent experience here at this location for the first time. Everyone is prompt and friendly. I have been trying for three weeks now to get a simple statement showing my payments to MFCC for FSA substantiation and just now received an email bounceback that their office is closed all week. Firstly, it's impossible to reach the front desk - voicemail only. Then they call you back from an unlisted number, so it's impossible to know who is calling. Argh. Then, the doctor requires that you submit new patient paperwork via email for her to review before you are allowed to make an appointment. The reason given is that she might decide she doesn't think you fit in her practice. It then takes a week to hear back after emailing over the paperwork. after which, you need to follow up with them, if you want an appointment. No courtesy call the day before to remind you there's an appointment, so you call to see what's doing there and have to let it ring out and call again. Receptionist answers finally and confirms yes, you do have an appointment. You arrive 10 minutes early, then wait until 25 mins past the start of your appointment time to speak with the Doctor. The Doctor is thorough and nice (if quite defensive about being called out for being so late). Attempts by staff to draw blood - the student MA's attempt is painful and she aborts mission. (Bruise is already looking pretty gnarly) Bring in the senior tech to have a go at the other arm - who can't find a vein and aborts mission after digging around for a bit. At this stage, I've been at their office for 1 Hr 40 mins. They tell me they will write a script to go to a lab and have blood drawn. Knowing my personal compliance level to find the time to drive to yet another appointment is very low, tell them not to bother. Needless to say, despite friendly student medical assistant and thorough/friendly Doctor, I'm still in the market for a new GP. A busy schedule, low tolerance for being gratuitously poked with needles and a general aversion to waiting = this probably isn't the right place for me.

I am honestly shocked by my experience with NP Owen, I have never had an "integrative" health…read morepractitioner be so condescending to me and unwilling to have a conversation about communication issues concerning western medicine pushing and aggressive and harmful communication patterns. I spent months developing a relationship with NP Owen, and have tried to clearly communicate concerns I have had with her tone, word choice and direction with my "care" for the last several weeks. My concerns have been met by bullying, canceling of appointments made and then today, a refusal to speak to me due to her inability to charge my insurance. I have no idea how she is unable to charge my insurance for a telemedicine appointment, since we have had these appointments previously where she was paid. I have experienced passive-aggressive blame-shifiting via her assistant's messages, a lack of accountability by NP Owen and a marked increase in my anxiety from attempting to communicate with her. I have have shared and tried to address all of these concerns with NP Owen through her messaging portal and have taken accountability for any ways I have contributed to our recent negative interactions, all to no avail. Over these last several months I have seen NP Owen, I have received exactly ONE natural medicine, and been pushed into taking many western medicines, from my vantage, NP Owen has no interest in addressing health concerns with natural medicines, and is more of a pharmaceutical drug-pusher than many regular M.D.s I have met. I feel that NP Owen is not a safe person to communicate your medical concerns with and I strongly recommend that you find another provider if open communication, empathetic care and an integrative and natural-medicine based approach to your health issues is your preference.

How are they going to stay in business? If they don't take all types of insurance ?Complete chaos and misinformation, now I have to find a whole new doctor. What a waste of two months waiting for my appointment.
