My husband and I were looking for a place to stay while going to the tulip festival. I found this one as it was not too close. I am so glad we picked this campground because the owners were very welcoming and friendly. We had an issue with getting our slide out on our camper to work and they helped us with this. My family and I moved down to the area back in June 2025 due to job relocating. During this time we purchased a 5th wheel that we lived in until we were able to find a place near by. During this time, we've been stay here at Sharp Park Campground. Diana, Jess and Val have all been extremely welcoming and never once did our family feel that we were camping rather, we felt as if we were "home" and felt like we became part of the family there. The new owners and staff are on top of their game. We're camped by a bathhouse and see them get cleaned and checked often. They have a nicely stocked store and will deliver wood if needed. There's 2 nice playgrounds, a covered pavilion, large field for games, boat launch, kayak and boat rentals. Nice swimming area and several new boat docks. The lake is beautiful and easy to fish for the kids. Nice family campground with weekend activities. read more

We travel out of state and found Sharp on an internet search. We booked two sites for a week and hoped it would be good. Well, we booked a different site for our return trip this year. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable proud of the campground, did I say Friendly!! Now about the facilities, they are always clean, the grounds are well kept lost of flowers. Two playgrounds, other outdoor activities and the best is the lake, Turner Lake, with sites at the lake. read more

Loved our stay!!!! The new owners are absolutely amazing! They have really cleaned this place up. The bathrooms are beautiful and clean. The camp store is a wonderful addition. We've already made a few trips out here this year and will definitely be back for more camping! We just love the hiking trails!!! What a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Great little campground. New owners have really turned this place around. Quiet, family friendly, great little camping store. Extremely clean bathrooms. Rock solid electric hook ups and great water. If there is a maintenance issue, they are right on top of it. The new owners are on top of everything. New improvements pop up all the time. There is a reason they have gone to a waiting list for seasonal sites. Everyone wants in ! read more

By far the best campground around! Very clean from the sites to the bathrooms. There is a small general store at the front with all necessities ever needed. Diana and her team are the best! Nice campground on a beautiful lake. There's a decent swim beach and really inexpensive boat rentals. Bathrooms and showers are clean. We stayed in the cabin, which is small but comfortable. No running water, but a little kitchenette with coffee maker, toaster oven, mini-fridge, and microwave. The fold-out bed was comfortable. It's family owned and operated; the staff is very nice. read more

Beautiful campground! My kids loved swimming in the lake and fishing off the dock. We were very impressed with how clean the bathrooms and showers were kept. They even have a washer and dryer, so we were able to take home clean clothes. Our site was shaded with plenty of trees and wildlife around us. We can't wait to come back! read more

I stayed here quit a few years ago was not impressed but it is under new ownership so I thought it a shot glad i decided to give it a try. The new owners a very friendly and so is the staff. Very helpful and the improvements they have made are a million times better. Nice swimming area very clean bathrooms and nicely redone. The showers are very nice as well. Nice sandy play ground for kids to play in and very quiet. They have a nice little store to shop in as well. Definitely will camp there again if you have not been there I recommend going or if you were there before new ownership I would highly recommend going back and checking it out you will not be disappointed. This place is a joke. The original campsite I had paid for was not marked or barely marked with a 2 inch number somewhere in a tree, the fire pit ring was bashed up and not usuable. Called the front office to check in and see if there was another campsite to use. They did let us take a different campsite that turned out pretty nice. But turns out when it rains all the run off water of the campground goes and runs right to the site so you'd be flooded. Luckily someone warned us that is a local and recommended higher ground. The owner of the place would not respond to any messages sent even though it says you can text the check in number since it's her cell phone. Finally called her and she was very short saying yes we can move to another site. All fine but would have been great to just answer the first time. The bathrooms are really sketchy with sometimes no TP or paper towel and was just really dirty. Also if you want fire wood either bring your own or go to Lot #60 because apparently the owner doesn't sell it herself and didn't even know how much it was. Also had to get a local to chop up some wood because it was just trunks of trees. Don't bother even going more than 5 mph through the park either. If any local catches you going to fast say like maybe 7mph they will come and you will get yelled at and a warning that if speeding again you can get kicked out. You'll be the village gossip for the day and get nasty looks. It's a mess here. Don't go. read more

This campground is poorly maintained and the staff and some of the regulars that seem to live there are very rude. We arrived and set up our tent on an electric only site. The electricity went out after about an hour and it was impossible to get a hold of anyone to help us. The "office" was closed and nobody answered the phone or texts for several hours. The electricity finally came back on and only then did someone text back saying something along the lines of "someone ran into the pole and I did what I could but no promises it will work". There was no attempt to apologize and they didn't respond to our question about moving to a different site. Aside from this, we witnessed a man harass several people for going just barely over 5mph which is the posted speed limit. Mind you it is very difficult on some parts of the roads/ trails to stay at that speed. The man approached campers to yell at them and threaten to kick them out. There were several times a golf cart with who I assume may have been the management drove around, but they made no attempt to make themselves available when needed. Two of our friends were also staying at the campground and had to move to three different sites during their two night stay. The first site had a demolished fire pit, and the second site apparently was a flood zone and after a couple hours of trying to reach management they got unfriendly permission to move to a different site. The campground itself was poorly maintained and the bathroom/shower area was pretty filthy and was not stocked on toilet paper and paper towel. At one point we had to go to a gas station to use the bathroom. Additionally, our fire pit and our friends' fire pit was filled with garbage. We will NOT be staying here again. read more
