The sites were nice and large; believe they were $30 per night (i believe) - omg the restrooms were cleaned very frequently. Please note - i didn't see anywhere on site that sold wood so make sure load up before arriving. Bring your kayak as well - easy access to the dock and also lots of people fish near the early. My family and I moved down to the area back in June 2025 due to job relocating. During this time…read morewe purchased a 5th wheel that we lived in until we were able to find a place near by. During this time, we've been stay here at Sharp Park Campground. Diana, Jess and Val have all been extremely welcoming and never once did our family feel that we were camping rather, we felt as if we were "home" and felt like we became part of the family there. I am so blessed to have found Sharp Park as it will also be part of our new chapter of our lives. Thank you so very much for making us feel welcomed and like family. We have since then found a place so as of October 3 we will be moving to our new place .

We were all the way at the other end of the campground and it's a pretty long walk back to the store/pool. First of all we met a guy outside who said he was "just the guy on the golf cart" but he gave off very rude vibes. Like when we asked if we can park by the pool he said "we would especially like it if you parked at your campsite".. in a very rude way. The lady showed us where we can park though, so that was nice. He also made a big deal about me getting $100 cash back and acted like he had to charge me a ton, when it was only $3. Honestly if I based this place on his attitude alone I would not come back. I really hope he is not the owner. I bought like 6 slim Jim/cheese sticks and ate maybe 5 between everyone in my campsite and realized when I got home that they were expired!! So gross! Like why not check your expiration dates?? But the pool and showers were VERY NICE for a campground. They have some very cool activities on weekends. The river access is AMAZING and the river wasn't flowing fast so we were able to use an inflatable kayak and just go up and back down the river instead of parking a car somewhere else. The porta potty is super spidery and cobwebby so that was disappointing. They need to spend more time keeping them clean!! Mini golf looked nice but costs $3 a person. That's dumb to me since it's something we assumed came with the cost! Also, you have to pay a deposit on literally everything. $10 to be able get a key fob to get back in the locked gate after hours. I think that is ridiculous. And $2 just for the code to get in the pool. Why wouldn't they just leave it unlocked?? Very strange power dynamic at this campground. It feels like they think they own you while you are camping here. I felt like a child with parents watching over me. Also, the noise ordinance is NOT enforced. I didn't mind, but some with little babies in tents might. It is VERY LOUD in tents at night. This is an extremely crowded campground, small sites. Lots of traffic throughout the day because the pool and store is such a far walk. Bathrooms are a far walk from most sites Overall, I would come here again. It's very well kept and we didn't get very dirty at all!

Too cold for canoeing in mid October but we don't usually go out for that anyway. Some very distant traffic noise that is not a problem. A very big rug might be challenging for some but I parked my 41' RV with 22' trailer attached. I took advantage of the "pay for three nights and the fourth is free" deal which makes it a great value also. Stay up top near the office for the best experience. Some sites on the river are trashy and trailers look abandoned. We'll be back.

Rockey's is the very definition of "family campground." It's a place where people bring their kids…read moreand pets to relax, play in the water, and sit by the campfire. Lots of, possibly the majority of, people here are on seasonal sites, and some make these these quite homey, with screened porches, hedges, light displays and statuary. Campers are packed pretty tightly together, but if you came here you probably weren't looking for solitude. Though there were a lot of people here, it was quiet overall. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. Other campers were pretty friendly too. The firewood we got was dry and easy to burn. We appreciated the cleanliness. The grounds were well maintained, and bathrooms and showers were kept very clean. Plenty of hot water in the showers, though water pressure gets weak if more than one person is showering at the same time. If you don't feel like walking all the way to the modern bathhouse, there are outhouses scattered through the campground, though I'd recommend just walking to the bathhouse. Rockey's is situated on a chain of small lakes, and there are some decent fish to be found in these. There's a concrete boat launch, as well as fishing boats and canoes for rent. When I was unloading my kayak by the boat launch, one of the owners said it was no problem for me to leave it on the lawn by the launch, and that I could safely leave all my gear by it with no worries. He as right. We were tent camping, which I think few people do there, and this did present some inconveniences. Some of the sites have few trees...like ours, and a little protection from the sun would have been nice. A lack of trees also left us with no place to string up our clothesline. There are streetlights along the campground lanes, which are handy for walking to the bathhouse after dark, but make your tent very bright at night. Rockey's doesn't cater to tenters, but some do come there, and for them it will be less than ideal. But for others it should be more than satisfactory,

A huge pro were the bathrooms, I was beyond shocked with how luxurious they felt for being campground bathrooms. I would recommend booking sites 1-116 (do research-online map includes picture/s) because these sites have shade unlike some on the other side. We stayed at site 45 and really enjoyed our stay. This is worst experience I have ever had in customer service. The staff at this campground is…read moreunprofessional and just downright rude. They have no idea how to treat guests of their campground properly and are borderline disrespectful. During the check-in process they are unorganized and see you as an inconvenience, rather than a welcome camper. We were asked to pay a price that was double what was discussed during the reservation process. When I questioned that price, they seemed to not remember nor offer solutions to make it right. In fact, I was told: "if I don't agree to pay the amount, I would be escorted off of the property." I have never been so disrespected as a guest of a hospitality driven business. You should highly consider another campground in this area.
