Should have acted as an agent and notified me of what was going on. She did nothing and her assistant told me to ignore the bills. I did not but tried to call the office and State Farm. Just got the run around from one person to another. Was told by customer service that Amanda had turned the account over to a collection agency. This agent is very deceitful and no help in resolving issues. Does State Farm not vet their agents? DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Their Insurance Agents have all been very knowledgeable, caring, and efficient. And for this reason, when I purchased my 2022 Lexus ES 350 Luxury Edition from Brambleton Imports in Roanoke, Virginia, I immediately considered Geico for my Auto Insurance needs. And I was surprised to find a Local Office located here in Valley View Blvd, in the same strip mall where IHOP is located. So after filling out the questionnaire in Geico's main website, I phoned their Roanoke, Virginia Local Office to obtain a local agent who I could deal with directly. After being awarded the Triad Yelper of the Year 2024 Award at the Yelpies Award Ceremony last year, an event that honored the highest-performing Yelp Elites, I decided that this year, as an All-Star Yelp Elite, I not only wanted to be the first to discover new businesses and restaurants and bring them to the attention of the public, but also to uncover those found in hidden paths that for one reason or another have not reached the public in its totality. And this Geico Insurance Office in Roanoke, Virginia, is the perfect example. The receptionist of this office quickly answered the phone and after giving me a warm greeting and finding out that I needed an Account Executive, she connected me to Chris, who was able to find the questionnaire I had filled out and recommend the right coverage that I needed and do everything over the phone in time for me picking up my car. Afterwards, I had an opportunity to visit the Geico Local Insurance Office to meet Chris in person and have an opportunity to ask him some questions I had and get printed copies of my coverage. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about insurance, and I was very satisfied to have him as my Account Executive at the Geico Local Office. I can truly say that he far exceeded my expectations of an ideal insurance agent. I highly recommend him and this Company for all your insurance needs.

I own two houses in Roanoke County and went to this agency after seeing their ads in The Roanoker Magazine. Liberty Mutual had more than doubled my homeowners premiums over the last three years. So, I called them to see if they could do better. I got a return call the next day..,and they said they could not help me. REALLY? Their ads are clearly deceptive. They did NOTHING to try to find acceptable coverage for me. Think again...about using this agency. It appears...that they only want the "cream of the crop" rather than the Average Joe kind of risk. Shame on them. Allstate wrote me two new homeowner's policies immediately with same limits that I had with Liberty Mutual at MUCH LESS premiums. Definitely...a crappy experience with Meador Insurance Agency.

A few months ago my monthly rate went up by more than $20. I emailed him asking why this has happened and for an explanation. He responded that another agent would get in contact with me as to why my rate increased as he was leaving the business. A few weeks went by with no response so I give them a call. I explain what happened and instead of pinpointing why my rate went up or trying to lower it or fixing this issue. I was told that they don't handle things the way Sam did. That he "must have dropped the ball and not forwarded the email to them" I don't want to hear the blame game going on in your office. Accept the responsibility of correcting it as I am your new client. Again I told them I wasn't forewarned of the changes to my rate and therefore the details of my rate were not honored or honest. The office manager of this place told me sorry that happened we can't really do anything, it's Sam's fault; however we do things differently as to not have the same issues he did. How in the world does this even make any sense. You want to be different...maybe you should act in it and correct the situation. So I asked her "so you mean to tell me I just gave you guys over $100 is whatever money and you are sitting there filling your pockets on my lack of provided information?
