I made an appointment for 6:00pm and arrived 10mins early. The salon hours said they close at 7:00pm on Mondays. I waited about 15 minutes to be helped. At first glance the salon is small and outdated. The employees are quiet and not friendly. There were two woman and a male working. The gentleman took me for my pedicure. He was quiet and did not speak English. It was very difficult to communicate to him and explain what I wanted. He kept trying to upsell me and kept telling me to do gel on my toes. I hate gel on toes. It's just my personal preference. He rushed through the pedicure and to be quite frank, he didn't even do a pedicure on my left foot. Because I was on my phone and distracted, he thought I didn't notice that he didn't cut the cuticles or do anything on my left foot. The pedicure was pretty terrible and all but 15 mins at most. Then he moved me to his table and proceeded to do my nails. I could not understand a word he was saying and was having a hard time trying to explain that I wanted gel dip powder on my nails. He was rushing and instantly started to do dip powder on my nails. I stopped him and said, "wait aren't you going to do a manicure first?" He laughed and said "oh yeah, okay". He brought a bowl of water and proceeded to do my hideous joke of a manicure and cut way too deep into my cuticle causing a cut. It was a pretty awful experience to say the least. Even the products they use are no name cheap polishes. The wanted the same color for my manicure dip powder that I did on my toes and he didn't explain to me that he didn't have it. He just proceeded to choose something to his liking that did not match the slightest. I asked for really square for my nails and he rounded the edges. I was so frustrated and just wanted to be done. I would never go back and definitely don't recommend this salon. $87 for a dip manicure and pedicure and it was an awful experience. read more

Pretty upset.. I haven't had my nails done in MONTHS. So I was excited to try this new salon and hopefully find my go to spa since I'm new to the area. I paid $118 and I gave a $20 tip. I got dip powered on my nails and acrylic on my toes. I had them done this past Wednesday I noticed the next day they were chipped... My toes chipped and 9 out of 10 nails on my hands is also chipped...this shouldn't happen after less than 24 hours of wear. For what I spent they should have lasted me at least 2-3 weeks.. read more

I visited for the first time was taken in right away. They offer you something to drink I was offered only water or soda. But I think you can get alcoholic drinks upon request. I chose the herbal pedicure they give you options for scents for the herbal. (Rose, lemon, lavender etc. It comes with a scrub, oil, minor exfoliation, paraffin wax bag, and hot stone massage, along with regular massage at the end!!! The paraffin wax bags were hot when they initially were put on. I let her know and she was careful the total for this pedicure is $55. They do use plastic covering for the salon tubs. I'm not sure if they use new tools or just wash them. Nice experience. They are in the process of renovating so all the chairs are brand new! read more

I used to come here a lot whenever I lived on 1488. Even whenever I moved, I continued to come here until a certain point. Today reminded me of why I stopped using this nail salon. Whenever I go in with an idea of a design I want, it is not done right, and it's like everytime I would speak up she would just hold my hands up to my face like I don't know what I'm looking at. Whenever I'm voicing my concerns it's never a "what can I do to fix it?" They just keep on working. Whenever I used to stick to solid colors, everything was fine but whenever I started throwing some designs (that I would consider basic) in there, not enough effort is put into making sure it is done correctly. I was soooo disappointed in my nails today especially going into Christmas with a manicure I am so sad about! But I was already extremely tired from work and had a long drive ahead of me, so I just went ahead and paid and left. Also, some of the shaping of my nails are just crooked, like my pinky in the picture I attached. Not to mention.. I paid almost $60 for this.. def not worth it. This is the most mismatch set of nails that I've ever had [and to think I paid extra for shaping]: several shapes and lengths, some are wide, some are narrow, some are smooth, but most are gritty [yes, even after the top coat]. I don't normally write bad reviews and when I walked out the door my nails looked fabulous. After about 2 days though I noticed dark water spots underneath (meaning my nails were already lifting). When I called to explain I was told to come in to get them looked at and fixed (if necessary). When I went in I was told by another nail tech (not the one who already did them) that it was fine and they did not need to be redone. Here's the thing, I have been trained in doing manicures and know what to look for here. Not only did the other tech refuse to correct the work, she went over to the original tech (who was working on another person at the time of my return) to draw attention to my inquiry. Ultimately, they would not fix the work and I left embarrassed on being pointed out like that (especially if they did not intend to fix it) and wondering if I was perhaps mistaken. It's been another day now and the water spots are much darker and my nail is already lifting more on its own. I was not mistaken. I do not want to go back to this nail salon because in spite of the work looking good out the door, the professionalism and quality is definitely lacking. I will have to remove these nails myself and hopefully find another nail salon to fix whatever damage may have been done. read more

Went in for a basic mani pedi and of course was asked if I wanted to get gel or shellac to make it last longer. These are my nails after just three days. My total came out to $86 but the basic mani and pedi were $25 and $30 a piece. So an extra $31 for "longer lasting, stronger" polish, yet it didn't last any longer than regular. read more

This nail salon has a wide variety of colors to choose from in shellac, color powder, dip powder etc. They do offer you some wine and or a soft drink. Victoria did an amazing job on my nails. I can honestly say I am satisfied and I didn't have to watch her every move and or make corrections during the service. She was also very friendly and hospitable. I would recommended her to others as well. They have hooks to place your purses on near the nail stations where you are getting serviced. They also have charging docs for your phones. I got the nude/white ombré and thought Daryl did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend him, my nails were perfectly shaped, he was attentive to my needs and didn't complain, and my nails are not too thick either! He was even willing to show me one nail to see how it would be and take it off if I didn't like it. I cannot day enough about them :) I got my old nails taken off because they were horrible, and brand new Tips with two color powder for $53, so their prices are good. The salon is clean and has reasonable prices. I would go here in a pinch (which is what I did since I'm only in Conroe to visit family) but I would not go here regularly. I asked for solid glitter nails and my nails came out with more of a glitter top coat. Also the nail technician didn't do a pre coat or top coat which is supposed to be done for shellac to make the color last longer. Also the glitter stuck out and the nails aren't smooth.
