From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome the front desk receptionist always greets me with a warm, friendly smile. I went in for a full set fill-in with ombré nails and a pedicure with shellac polish, and honestly, the results turned out even better than the inspiration photo I showed them. I was beyond impressed. Diana, Tina, and Helen were amazing. Diana did my ombré nails, and Helen did my pedicure. Tina did my daughter's nails. This place is very tuff especially for a 13 year-old boy like me. This is one of the top places to go in the Woodlands and they do such a great job with massaging and they get you done right at the start. The chairs are very comfy and they give you stuff to wear around your neck and there are massage modes on the chair. They also offer you a variety of drinks. You could take your daily soda. I usually don't do this but i went to them about 2 months ago to get a pedicure so i wanted to give them a try for my nails. I called at about 11:30 to see if they had an 5:15 appointment, they said yes what services do i need. I told them a refill and pedicure, she took my number and told me my appointment is set for 5:15. I got there at about 5:21 and waited a little before they put me into a pedicure chair. A lady was about to start my nails and then she stopped and said "let me do my other appointment nails and I'll be right back" i was fine with that. But i was still waiting for my pedicure my feet were just in water. At 5:50 no one still started my pedicure so i left. Tom is slaying the streets, one full set at a time - his excellent brush strokes for my acrylics made this the lightest and most natural looking set I've ever had! I'm usually extremely picky with my nails and hate when it's over-drilled or the edges aren't seamless. LET ME TELL YOU - Tom has so many innovative new tools and methods of making my set so perfect (even for the pickiest customer ). I was in the parking lot backing up out of jimmy John's and one of the employees was walking out and walked in front of my car while I was backing out and gave me a very rude stank face because i had stopped my car so they could walk without worry of me going forward or backing up, she gave me a very rude look and I started continuing I was not backing out fast enough for her I guess because then she started laughing at me and talking to her friend snickering at me, mind you there was a whole sidewalk and she chose to walk right in front of my car, she had all the space in the world. I feel completely taken advantage of by this place! I have been a customer here for at least 8 months, coming in regularly for my fills every few weeks. Yesterday I got my nails done and chose a dip color that kept clumping and looked different colors on different parts of the nail instead of one solid color. My nail tech Hana is very talented and kept trying to fix it for me, re-dipping and filing multiple times, but the end product still came out wonky. Not only that, my toe nail polish was done so thick that it began to droop as it was drying. I had them fix my big toes in the salon, but even after more than 20 minutes of waiting for it to dry in the salon, it was still wet when I got home and dried bumpy. I called today and explained I wasn't happy and was questioned like I did something wrong... the lady up front asked me "well, did Hana FORCE you to choose that color?".... Like WHAT? I answered no, and let her know it was the color I wanted but it seems like the product was old because it kept clumping when my tech was trying to apply it. The girl kept arguing with me and making me feel like it was somehow my fault that this powder didn't look right, even though they claim their policy is that if you come in within 7 days, they will fix them for free. Finally I just asked if I need to go somewhere else because she was just arguing and it seemed pointless. She then said to come in so they can fix it. Well, I come in and let her know that I'd be fine paying for a polish color change because I wanted to be able to tip (even though mind you, they claim their policy is to correct them for free if you already paid within 7 days of your service) and after they fix my nails and changed the color on my toes, I get to the register, and they had rung me up for $50!!!!!! Are you KIDDING ME? After I just dropped $120 BEFORE tip THE DAY BEFORE?! And when I asked about why it was so much, the girl up front just said, "oh we offered you 40% off your services today". I was honestly just blown away. So apparently not only is it a lie or they just don't uphold the policy THEY put in place if you don't like your nails, but they will re-charge you to fix what should have been done correctly the first time with product that isn't old and defective. Now I'm out $180 and had to take 4 hours total to get nails I even liked that have no designs, regular polish on my toes, and nothing fancy to show for it. I will not ever be back. Came to this location for their Valentine's Day promo. The vibe was very off putting. There's ladies walking around clearly talking about the clients in their language, making it very uncomfortable and unprofessional. My pedicure was nothing of noteworthy and the massage was an actual joke. My full set took an extra hour just waiting for the person that could do the style that I wanted but ended up being an extremely weird shaped almond. You can tell it was rushed and the nail's themselves are bumpy. She got dip powder all over the side of my fingers and proceeded to using a buffing block to try to take it off my skin. Also would like to note that I literally witnessed one of the workers put the clippers and metals tools right back into one of those "sterile bags" right after she used them on a client and just put it back in her cart with stuff. So I feel terrible doing this, but this place is a TRIP. I used to come here to get my nails done, but switched and haven't been back in 2-3+ years. But I didn't want to drive all the way to my usual place so I decided to stop in here. Well I learned my lesson and will NEVER be back NOR DO I RECOMMEND coming here. I walked in to the nail techs wearing NO MASKS, which I should've walked right out. That's my bad. And customers with NO MASKS. There was ZERO sanitation done after the client before me left the nail techs chair. Her drink was still sitting next to me while I was getting my nails done. I REALLY SHOULD'VE LEFT. Also, when the nail tech was doing my nails and waiting for the top coat to dry she was BLOWING on my nails. Like right now is not the time for that. I showed the nail tech a picture of the nails I wanted, the colors came out beautiful (exactly like the pic) BUT there was a cheetah design that I asked for (as shown in the pic) sooo after sitting there for an hour and a half getting my nails done I asked her if she was going to do the design, and she said she didn't know how.. (She was the only one working aside from the owner) at this point I'm mind blown. Like how are you NOT going to tell me as soon as I showed you the pic before I even sat down that y'all can't do the design I wanted. I would've chose a totally different color or walked out. Now after sitting there for 2+ hours & paying $55 the look I wanted is NOT complete and I will have to go to another salon to get the design I wanted and pay even more. Which may sound like no big deal.. but it's freaking aggravating. Especially after sitting there for 2+ hours. I left, and when I did I realized my nails were not smooth at all.. so I was even more annoyed. I went back inside and explained to them that the fact that I paid $55 for something I didn't even want and for something that was half assed, and the fact that I still have to go to another salon to get them fixed is absurd. They did smooth them out for me & give me $5 back.. LOL. Like thanks. I still have to stop in at another place to get the design I want in order for my nails to look like the pic. Maybe I'll use that $5 + whatever else it costs Thank you for the most aggravating experience ever. LOL. 10/10 don't recommend. read more

I appreciate nail techs who handle me gracefully because I'm a bit picky! The price given to me at the end of my services was more than I anticipated so I asked for a service break down for clarity (I'm use to paying $20-$30 less at the JK Nails on Sawdust RD. I do also understand inflation currently.) The price break down was rushed through and the nail tech quickly walked away. No fuss and I paid with the cash I had brought specifically and unfortunately it wasn't enough to tip 20% but I left all that I had. I felt guilty. From my view I did notice my services were not recorded to the hand written log at the counter and I was not offered a receipt of my payment. Over all I don't trust JK anymore, or maybe this location. read more

The facility itself was nice and clean. Staff were semi-friendly. There are no prices posted anywhere. You actually have to ask them the price for services. I got a gel manicure, that typically lasts 2-3 weeks in my past experience. I got one at this facility and it only lasted 10 days. I actually was able to peel it off myself this morning. I have frequent this salon quite a bit as it is close to my home. ever since the new ownership i have had not one or two but 3 issues with them. the first one i went for a pedi i get the exact same thing everytime white french the lady doing my nails did not do that after sitting in the chair for over an hour and her filing down and re doing it i asked if i could just leave as i had somewhere to be. the receptionist saw everything and as she handed me my receipt she told me i had one week to come in to get it fixed, 3 days later my toe chipped so i went back in to ask to get the chipped fix all she did was file down that little chip and repaint the white. the next time i went in was to get my nails done the guy did a great job so i went back to do my fill with him. he used the wrong powder color on my fill and it looked the same as if i had not gotten the fill i called and asked if i could come back and have him fix it they said to give it a couple days as the color would get darker... bc he was sure he used the same color... i assumed bc it was closing time they didn't want to stay i went back in two days later to have him fix it they told me he could just add a color on top as he didn't have the time to re do it. i asked if someone else could as i did not have the time to keep coming back, she said yes they put me in with another lady that also wanted to use the wrong powder on me someone else had to come help her figure out what color they had used.. once she was done i noticed a lot of bumps and ridges on my nails i asked if she could buff it she filed my nails and they became blotchy at this point i asked if they could be fixed by someone who was going to fix them instead of making them worse they asked me to make an appointment to have them taken off and put back on... i left with no appointment i should not have to come back every other day. it has been a week and a. half since and my nails have now lifted and cracked.
