    My new cabinet/wine fridge.
    David P.

Ryan and Andrew absolutely outdid themselves. I had them reconstruct a cabinet and install a wine fridge, they went above and beyond to to make sure my final outcome was more than pristine. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys for any project, I guarantee my friends and family will be using Ryan and Andrew in the future! Thanks for exceeding expectations!!

What had happen was...lol...I started to take my treadmill out of the box and following the steps on the manual i got stuck after step 1 where i had to remove shipping bracket by removing the screws, well the screws were too tight and i ended up stripping the screws. Well i needed a mans support for this job. Iuri was on time, very knowledgeable, and he got the job done. He new exactly what to do. He used a saw to remove the screw. Really cool stuff#!! I learned something new today. Thank you so much!!

Den was nothing short of AMAZING! I knew my husband would need some help making all of my wants come true-- to turn our new house into a home! Den was very communicative and he was on time! He and my husband were able to complete the build and install the floating entertainment as well as the mini bar and all of our other heavy hanging needs! I would recommend Shatun Brothers and Den 10,000 X over and will only be working with them for the future needs of our home! Thank you for an amazing experience! -a first time home owner

I loved working with Denis before but this time I can't seem to get ahold of anyone. I have been assured multiple times someone would get back to me and then just get ghosted and left on read. "Someone will get back to you in two hours," and then don't ever hear back. I'm so confused. Why ghost a repeat customer? If you're busy, at least say something so I don't wait and waste time while I could be booking with someone else. Literally posting this because I'm not hearing back.

Had an extremely complex Murphy Bed assembly. Chris did an amazing job, spending 10+ hours to put this together meticulously. I'm sure it would have taken me over 20 hours given the complexity. Would highly recommend!

Amazing work! This business was incredibly clean, polite and professional. Great customer service! I am very particular, and he really listened to what I wanted and delivered. I will definitely be hiring Shatun Brothers in the future!

I don't know why yelp keeps flipping the image, but here's the bookshelf!

I set out to build my bookshelf and desk by myself because I'm an independent woman, and it was just not happening. I contacted the Shatun brothers and they responded instantly, with a quote and times they could come by. He arrived on time and put everything together in a matter of hours. Even offered to mount the bookshelf so it was earthquake-proof and solid. More importantly, the quote didn't change. They stuck to their word, which is hard to find. I would absolutely recommend and hire again when I get more furniture.

I needed to repair ceiling after roof leaking. Just see what I got: - they send only one worker instead of team, as promised; - he do not have leader (used my), correct tools and materials (left 2 times to the Home Depot to buy insolation and patch; - he do not cover floor with plastic or fabric, left big mess after patching and I have to clean myself after him; - he used my old painted and broken piece of drywall. I asked and we agreed to instal 2 new sheets, because existing ceiling is damaged by roof leaking!!!; - he patch ceiling very unprofessional. A lot of space are missing; - he asked to be paid $550 for 5.5 hours working. Agreed rate is $75/hour; Trips to Home Depot included; I hope this company will fix all of this for their own expense. As for now, I'm do not recommend them.

Shatun Brothers are AMAZING!! I needed two shelves built in my laundry area and they were able to come quickly, inspect the area, and make a recommendation on the best type of shelf. I really appreciated that they were willing to go to Home Depot for supplies and send me pics of what was available before purchasing. The shelf came out BEAUTIFULLY and most importantly it was built strong and safe. Give these guys a shot, they are the BEST!!

Avoid this company at all costs. They permanently ruined our wood floors and are refusing to take responsibility. We'll probably end up taking them to court for this. We wanted to get some scratches on our kitchen floor patched up as well as fix up some wall paint where we had drilled something into the wall. Seems easy enough right? This company managed to mess up *both* of those things. Our walls are regular white color. Somehow they painted them off white color so there are now giant splotches of off white paint on our walls. Very visibly so. Don't even get me started on the floors. Instead of pathing up a few minor scratches they somehow ended up waxing (???) our entire house (????). To the point where the floors are now ruined and we'll have to pay thousands and thousands of dollars to get that fixed. Couldn't have imagined someone could mess up so badly. Here's the best part - of course they're refusing to take responsibility. At first they tried to claim that they never even came to our house and didn't do any of this. Lol?? Once we provided clear photos of their guy being inside our house on our cameras, all the texts about confirming the appointment, all the texts from them while being inside our house of course they couldn't use that card anymore. And even still now they're refusing to take responsibility for what they've done. This story isn't over yet and we're likely going to court over the damages. Given my experience I'm now strongly suspecting the other positive reviews on this page are fake. Avoid using this company at all costs.

Crooked TV with loose screwdriver on the mantle

I'm really not one to complain, but it was a number of things That added up that made the service unpleasant. First off, the tech showed up 15 minutes late without giving me any notice. He mounted the first TV and sound bar and they were both misaligned. I had to tell him multiple times to straighten it out, he would straighten out manually and not tighten anything in the back. He then started on the 2nd TV in the bedroom. I went back to look at the 1st TV he did in the living room and there was a screw that fell OFF that I had to get him to put back on. Very worry-some. Also he installed the sound bar higher than what we agreed upon without letting me know. Apparently he didn't have the right tool (L shaped screw driver) so he just put the sound bar higher because it was easier for him. (NOT WHAT I WANTED) He could have at least let me know what he was going to do before he just did it. The worst part of the service was when he was installing the 2nd TV he broke/ripped off an LED light wire I had on the back of the TV and tried to tell me that it was already like that. This was very frustrating. The wire was in tact before he ripped it off. I confronted him about this and he said that there was nothing he could do. The LED light he broke was $200 and didn't offer any kind of resolution. He was also trying to up charge me at the end of the service. I had to refer back to the messages I had between me and the company to get the correct pricing. Apparently they contract free-lance handy-men and don't actually have employees. He then had the audacity to tell me if I needed anything else to contact him directly and not through the company- like I would ever want him to step foot in my home ever again. Completely unprofessional. I also contacted them to let them know of the issues and they provided no resolution.

    Drywall Repair Finisher

Update (September 2026): I reached out to Luis again for another drywall repair, this time after…read moresome drywall was damaged by a water heater leak. As always, Luis did a great job. He opened up the affected area and carefully checked for any remaining moisture before removing the damaged drywall. He then replaced the drywall and repaired the area, leaving everything looking clean and properly finished. I really appreciate his attention to detail and the quality of his work. I would definitely recommend Luis for drywall repairs and will continue to use him for future projects. His prices are always reasonable. Thanks again Luis for another job well done!

I had a positive experience with Luis back in 2020 where he fixed a bad skim job by another…read morecontractor for me with a bunch of patches, and I thought Luis' skills were pretty superior. Over the years I have been doing DIY fixing of more bad spots around the house but I also work so I was never going to get around to all of it. I decided to call Luis back recently because I didn't want to do it myself anymore and I want to repaint fresh non-patchy walls. I hired Luis to reskim two bedrooms and two accent walls and some other miscellaneous spots that I added after he started working at my house. Luis was at my house for 3 half-days (1.5 in total) before telling me he was finished with the walls. I was (still) happy as a clam at that point and paid him in full for what was completed, fully trusting that the work was done skillfully based on my prior experience. (He was coming back one more time to finish the misc. stuff that I added on and I would pay for that part then.) Anyway, imagine my horror when I checked on his "finished" work and saw imperfections everywhere and tons of sanding dust still left behind on the walls, switches, and even mud on the door knobs. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves from here with brief descriptions of what's being shown. -Pictures 1-3: Some of the imperfections from the first time Luis said he was "finished." -Picture 4: His first fix-it visit(half day). He was supposed to find all the imperfections and patch them (the yellow highlighter spots), except he was patching bubbles with more bubbles. I had to patch all the spots again with my own compound and added a ton of other ones that he missed. Took me two full nights. -Pictures 5&6: His second fix-it and final visit (another half day). He was supposed to sand over all the patches and walls to leave them with a smooth & uniform finish that's ready for primer & paint. This was how I found them after he left. I sent him these pictures and told him to not come back as I had given him 2 chances to fix and he failed both times. There was no response from him. -Picture 7: I made only a partial payment of the balance on Luis' last visit because part of the remaining work was him making the corners of a ceiling overhang crisp, the corners are crisp but somehow the overhang is now squiggly when that wasn't the problem before. -Picture 8: I had taped up all my trims before Luis came as I didn't want any mud/compound to get on them, but I thought my crown molding were safe. They were not. He had busted them pretty badly with his electric sander in 7 spots and dinged them in at least 10 other spots but those were minor and I was able to superglue them back together. I did take on the repair of the major dings myself because I wanted to tape all of it up before he came back for more sanding. Luis and I had good rapport and I actually liked talking to him, but once the job took a turn for the worse, he never acknowledged that he didn't do a good enough job. He instead said things like, 1. "You're not supposed to look at the walls with a light from the side like that" and "I've never seen anyone look at a wall like you." --Yes, technically he's right, walls usually have paint on them which would have made these imperfections painfully obvious even when looking at them straight on, but until there is paint, this is how drywallers check for imperfections and fix them before they get permanently sealed with paint. (I had two painters (who also skim coat) come over for quotes and this was how they both checked to see how much prep work they would have to do before painting). 2. "I could fix these walls 10 times and something will still come up."--it really shouldn't if he did it right the first time, he's supposed to be a professional, not a DIYer like me. 3. "You've got to be kidding me. I'm at a point where I want to just refund your money and get out of this insanity"--after he came and saw all the patches I added to the walls (that he missed). I know what he was trying to imply and still gave him my electric sander to use so he could finish the job. With all that said, guess who is still stuck sanding the walls now after paying Luis to do the job and saying I didn't want to DIY this anymore. And with all these patches that I had to add to cover up his mudding imperfections/bubbles, it's looking like I'm going to end up with patchy walls again, which is exactly where I was when I handed Luis this project. What a joke. And the crown molding that I fixed up? That still needs to be repainted as well. I wasn't going to leave this review, but after several weeks and my walls still needing to be finished, I thought I would share my experience.
