I couldn't be happier with the job Michael did for me. His communication beforehand was excellent. He spent time with me on the phone to get an idea of what type of setup I was looking for. I told him I didn't know what TV to purchase because too many to choose from, and he provided suggestions of his favorites. He went over all the details of what extras will be needed like HDMI cables and the TV mount he suggests, along with the soundbar. I purchased the TV and he brought all the other equipment with him. We scheduled an appointment and he arrived on time and as soon as he walked in the door he was in go mode. You just need to back away and let him do his thing. He spent so much time measuring and thinking of angles of your neck of where you will be sitting and how high to mount the TV. He spent more time doing all that than the time it took him to actually mount the TV and set it up. He is a perfectionist and he knows what he is doing and he has passion for his work. He cleaned up everything when he was finished. He spent time going over the remote and the functions and making sure all the settings were correct and that the soundbar app on my phone was connected and running properly. Michael came and simplified my parent's TV/Audio system once the Savant remote system stopped working properly. They have everything (cable, AppleTV, Sonos, DVD) all connected through a Marantz receiver and the savant controlled it all. Michael from Galaxy Home Theatres was an absolute pro helping me set up my eARC and CEC with my Denon receiver, Sony TV, and FireTV Cube enabling these components to work together seamlessly using the FireTV Cube remote as the main remote to trigger auto-switching on/off, TV input, receiver HDMI input, etc. My issue was I had a 5.1 surround sound home theater set up. My component setup as follows: -Sony TV acts as a monitor eARC HDMI - Denon receiver eARC HDMI -FireTV Cube HDMI - Denon HDMI input The issue: -video signal from FireTV Cube - Denon - TV was successful -but could not get the audio output to my receiver - 5.1 surround sound speakers (wired speakers, not Bluetooth speakers) I've tried countless setting combinations between the 3 components and none worked. I've spent hours on the phone with FireTV Cube, Sony TV and Denon tech support. All were very helpful but they could not help me with getting all of these 3 components video and audio all synced up together. Each company tech support only cares about being able to prove to me that their product works as intended and that was it, case closed. Michael was super knowledgeable with home theatre setup and his expertise in setting up complicated settings for TV, receiver, and media players like FireTV Cube helped save my sanity. The level of detail we went into getting each component's setting right was very tedious. Plus he also went above and beyond giving me some advance advice on tweaking my receiver Audyssey EQ room settings in the manual levels adjustments, fine tuning each device input setting and triggering. What's more impressive is that Michael walked me through the entire process over the phone since I reached out to him in the evening 7pm ish via Yelp. Michael responded promptly within 30 mins and this entire process took about an hour to complete. I can't thank Michael enough for his expertise and patience in helping me resolve my issue. If Michael can do this over the phone, I am sure he can do magic when he is on location with his client.
