The chicken is a 'pulled' type although I can't tell how, but all the ingredients, including the multigrain bread, were just as they should be. 4.5/5 - Carrot chocolate chip cookies: these look and taste much like pumpkin chocolate chip cookies to me, which is to say that I like them. I wish they had a stronger carrot flavour, but I know that's a tall order. These are the doughy, soft type which I don't mind at all. 4/5 Parking is aplenty, staff are quick and friendly, and I love a good local family business. Even with the crowd, there was plenty of seating, and although we waited around 25 minutes for our food, it was well worth it. We decided to try their 2 for 2 deal, which lets you pair half a sandwich with a side of soup. I had the smoked roast beef sandwich and taco chicken soup both were full of flavor, especially the soup, which had the perfect balance of hearty and spicy. My husband went with the chicken salad sandwich and a side of roasted vegetables soup which were fresh and well seasoned. Of course, we couldn't leave without grabbing a few of their baked goods two carrot cake cupcakes and one chocolate cupcake. All three were moist, rich, and absolutely delicious. From the fresh, high-quality ingredients to the cozy farm setting, everything about our visit was wonderful. A little wait time aside, it was a 10/10 experience and the perfect start to our day outdoors. We're already planning to come back!

When people are relaxed, they will stay longer and buy more things. I wasn't dealing with the porta potties- um, just no. I noticed lots of kids here and they had to go to the restroom. I enjoyed an apple cider slushee while picking fresh apples during a sunny fall day. We had to purchase a half-bushel bag. Mother Nature at her best! I tasted several varieties of apples in the orchards: Empire, macoun, mac, golden delicious, red delicious, Fuji and gala. The empires and the golden delicious are the best- tasting out of the different varieties available here. Take a look at my photos-- so serene and worth the drive up here from NYC! In hindsight, I should have taken a wagon and apple picking stick with me, but I was so happy with the slushee and just walking around, I wasn't really thinking about picking the best apples. As for the goodies I bought: Excellent apple pie with a short-bread type crust and tart but sweet apples. Very delicious and fresh! Seneca Granny Smith apple chips-- never tried this variety- tart and crisp. Apple Pastry stick: I say don't bother with this one. It left a coating in my mouth of greasy weird shortening. I bake my own apple pies with real butter and I don't get this kind of coating with my own pies: Not sure what they use here but don't get this. All in all, a great bakery and orchard.

They also just have a great selection with heirloom varieties. And whoever makes the dried herb mixes knows what they're doing. Cashiers are always kind too. I'm so glad I found this place four years ago and look forward to them opening every summer.

Every year we always get a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from this farm. We have a cabin in the woods and must shower it with the lovely mums, annuals, and succulents! Everyone who works here is very kind, welcoming and generous. The HUGE hanging flowers usually $50-60 at Lowe's or Home Depot are only $35 here! The succulents are about $5.50 and the pots are $1-10 dollars based on size! I cannot rave enough about this farm and this community. We absolutely love it here for the past 11 years!

Our group was assembled with two adults and two kids: we all thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful trip out there. First off, we were encouraged to pick fresh herbs & flowers all for free! Matilda loved it so much she squealed with joy as we ran through the rows of plants and picked flowers. We all left very happy and was glad we made the to trek out there. The kids loved seeing the home where our summer vegetables were grown and we had a lovely hand picked center piece for our dinner table that night.

We found the prices all over the map, with some items being a great deal and some being a bit expensive - shop with care and you will be rewarded with great quality. The small-batch prepared frozen meals are excellent, the chicken pie was full of real food and the price was good. Not all of the cheeses are produced by small farms, but there is a large selection of those that are. We got lucky enough to make it to their "Customer Appreciation Day" and meet many of the food vendors. It was fun to put faces to the companies and farms - not all were Amish folks, some were outsiders who seemed to be treated with just as much respect. The store is welcoming and seems to have a good attitude. I was hesitant at first, but after a few visits I feel very comfortable shopping there.

We parked in front of the shop, and the smell of freshly baked goods greeted us when we entered. At that moment I knew this place would not disappoint. The counter had pies, turnovers, and cookies on display, but we came with a mission: secure a cider donut. It's so refreshing to see donuts sold at a reasonable price. For $1.35, these were a steal compared to the $6 ones sold in the city. (Yes, $6 for a single!) The donuts, which were still warm when we had them, were generously coated with cinnamon sugar. The open fields are a welcome change from being indoors, and you can pick whatever fruits you like. The farm leaves quart containers out on a stand for you to pick up and use while picking fruit, and you just drive to the fields. Then you bring the containers to the register with what you picked. They offer a reasonable price for fresh fruit. It's fun, relaxing, and great for all ages.

We also picked cherries that year which not many places have. My favorite though was picking strawberries in 80+ degree weather in the muggy Schoharie Valley, just great! If you get a chance hike up Vroman's Nose to get a birdseye view of the valley and the farm.
