I ordered the tiramasu and was very disappointed. It came out and was a deconstructed version, very strange looking. The biscuits were hard and not soaked in coffee, but dipped half in the strongest and most bitter flavour of coffee I have tasted. I don't think it was premade, it looked like a rushed job. The sorbet or ice cream was very icy and the cream component was tasteless. After not being able to eat it, I asked for a takeaway box so I could take my $14 dessert home , hoping family might be able to eat it. The staff member, maybe a manager really couldn't care less when I mentioned it was not very nice. This did spoil lunch a bit, and I would have happily given a higher score, if not for this.

Well, one might wander why I landed up all the way out at Caboolture. Well, I wanted to go for a…read moreride on the Tilt Train but I didn't want to actually leave the Brisbane metropolitan area, so I paid for a ticket to Namboor but jumped off at Caboolture (despite the fact that you're not actually supposed to do that, since they technically don't set passengers down there - rebellious me). Anyway, now that I was at Caboolture (and regretting not actually going all the way to Nambour - oh well, maybe next time) I decided to go and grab a beer, and fortunately this place was just across the road from the railway station. All in all it was a nice place, with a bit of a country atmosphere about it, but more of a local suburban pub than anything outstanding. However I didn't really mind the place all that much, but won't be travelling all the way to Caboolture to visit it again.

There was also a decent sized outdoor area, and plenty of space to go around. While the restaurant is, well, a restaurant, the sports bar does offer a bit more of a pub like atmosphere.
