My first and only appointment with Ms Hall was for an annual exam. She did absolutely nothing…read moreduring the exam. Did not listen to my breathing/lungs or heart. I had to ask for the basic blood test. She did not order a mammogram, colon or bone density test. I complained of my ear plugging and she did not even look at it. I had injured my arm and found out later that she made no notes of it and wanted me to come back in merely to order an x-ray for it. It would be impossible to see what was wrong with a probable Deltoid muscle tear without an x-ray or MRI so why she refused to order one, I do not know. I guess just to get money for another useless visit. I told Whitney that I was depressed after losing my grown daughter w/young children to cancer. She immediately turned the conversation to all about her own problems without addressing any possibilities that might help me to better cope. After telling the staff manager, Margaret, that I had been told via text I would be switched to an actual doctor after reporting the poor service from Whitney, she said that they do not text and it must've been a robo response. I then sent proof with copies of the actual text messaging that I had an ongoing conversation with someone that was going to assign me to an actual doctor, which never happened. Margaret never acknowledged, apologized or helped in any way. Northwest Family Medicine is a terrible place and I would advise any and all to stay clear! Even the offices did not feel that crispy clean like one would expect from a good medical facility.

By the 5th call regarding the same issue, different person, whom i have never met, issue still unresolved after id been told it had been, i finally hung up the phone and emailed them never to contact me again-thats how frustrated I am. I dont get ticked like this easily. This is repeated office procedures performed at a highly unacceptable and unprofessional level. Theyre nice-just inept. Go give your money to some place that actually functions effectively. These people dont know how to. "All of my needs" were not unrealistic, Peggy, Answering calls, responding to vm messages, submitting rx refills to pharmacy in a timely fashion-not immediate-timely. Calling a patient to inform them their appt has been cancelled vs waiting for them to show up. Just normal every day operations that just didnt go well for whatever the rwasons arw. Patients have left, medical staff has left-why? Because the practice doesnt operate efficiently. Not because my needs are unrealistic.

I see you have several other bad reviews now that Mark Martindale has left.

Unfortunately, I must rate Hayden Lake Family Physicians a 2 out of 5 since the implementation of…read moretheir "Concierge" service. My family has been patients of the practice for over 20 years, but we have now reached the point where we are seeking care elsewhere. Under the current "Concierge" model, existing patients who wish to see a physician must enroll in the Concierge program at a cost of $1,800 per person, per year. Patients who do not participate in this program are limited to scheduling appointments with a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. While I respect the important role of these providers, I value the ability to see my existing physician when needed--particularly in situations where experience, continuity of care, or personal preference are important. Unfortunately, that option is no longer available without a substantial annual fee. This fee does not even cover the care, it's just for the ability to see a Doctor. Additionally, since some of physicians have departed or are preparing to, I have noticed a decline in the overall level of care. Billing concerns, including charges for services that were neither requested nor disclosed, ultimately led us to make the decision to leave the practice. When we have called to discuss our billing concerns or not disclosing services, we were met with rudeness and essentially told there is nothing they can do. It is disappointing to leave them after more than 20 years, but it appears to me that money has taken priority. We used to absolutely love HLFP and our original Doctor, but since we can no longer see him and their "Concierge" service, it's it not even close to what it used to be.
