He was not willing to do formal portraits or posed photos, but he was clear upfront on his shooting style. Given the lower price point and nature of the events being more party-like, we were fine with it. We left him alone and he did his thing. I would be explicitly clear on what you want and make sure he agrees to that vision. I think he is good for parties and in-the-moment type photos but the classic wedding shots with posed people, I don't think is his thing and probably not his strong suit. He was actually very nice to us and we tried to give him room to take photos. I do have a background in design and photography, so my feedback is coming from a professional place as well.
