It has been three years since I checked my review here, and there seem to be a few changes, so I thought I would slip in an update. For the last several trips I have found they are out of at least one of the coupon sale items that I clipped on their app. For one visit, they were out of all three I wanted. As it keeps happening, I wonder they can't adjust their inventory up ahead of the sales, but what do I know? The last time they lacked two different meat sale items, chicken and beef, and when I asked the Deli folks about it, they told me the meat department went home early. Probably tired of being asked about the outages! I will keep going there for periodic shopping, because they carry items my local supermarket lacks, but since it takes twenty minutes to drive there, I will mostly shop there when I am in Dover-Foxcroft for an additional reason. read more

Just had coming from west coast, and getting a property. In Milo. Was a big flip. For me, being worked in neighborhood corner market. People were always friendly and polite. I'm a regular customer here but am frequently disappointed by their poor customer service. An example of this would be the last time I was mis-charged for my groceries. When I asked for the return of the money that I was overcharged, they agreed that I had been mis-charged and rang out that value pre-tax. I asked that I be returned the amount of money I had actually been overcharged (the value including the tax I had paid on the additional charge). I was told flatly that they did not know how to calculate that value and would not be doing so. They then insinuated that I was cheap for wanting the full amount for which I, to their acknowledgement, had been overcharged. They claimed that I should not want back the nominal difference in the amounts. But why would I pay Shaw's any amount for their mistake in ringing up my items? Why would they keep any amount of the money that I was overcharged? Will they be conveying the amount I was charged as "tax" to the state or will they be keeping that amount that was listed on my receipt as "tax"? If this is Shaws regular policy, then I would be scared to make large purchases if I know that were I to be mistakenly charged more for my purchase, they will not return that full amount regardless of whether they recognize fault. read more
