4/26/2015 Shay is simply amazing! She is a woman living her passion and it is evident in all that she undertakes in her salon. I have had lash extensions and recently have had my eyebrows semi-permanently tattooed . I honestly cried when I saw them for the first time. I had such sparse, ill shaped brows, and when i finished my session, and I saw that I had "real eyebrows" for the first time since my youth, I teared up and then cried on the way home! I cannot explain the feeling you get when your confidence in your appearance is boosted like that! Shay also keeps my brows waxed and tweezed perfectly. I always try to do the upkeep myself, but will always return to her to let her do what she knows best to do! Her salon is very clean and so peaceful. She has a lovely bed/table that is so comfortable. Added to that is her natural way of making you feel completely comfortable and welcome. I personally love the music she has playing through my treatment...adds to the zen experience! She is highly professional, and you immediately understand that her quiet confidence translates into the fact she knows exactly what she is doing, and has your back from arriving to departure. I love that!! I have and will continue to, recommend Shay to everyone I know. When someone lives their passion, the care they take with you is so personal, and I will not be returning to any full salons for any service I could get from her. I had my brows done initially with Shay one month ago, she was very friendly & welcoming, she spent a good amount of time measuring my brows and creating a shape I was happy with. I have to admit, the procedure is not the most pleasant feeling, to be honest it hurts, but Shay added some numbing cream after the first few slices; which helped. She had sent me an email outlining what I could expect during the healing process, which was pretty on point, and I thought they were disappearing but as time went on they came back, a little bit patchy but still a drastic improvement from how they looked when I went in for my first appt. I was happy with how they had healed after the first appt. Today I went in for my touch up appt, and again, it didn't feel great but I left with a brow that I am very happy with. I will continue with this type of procedure in the future, and with Shay; she was precise and informative. Overall I am very happy with the results, and I would recommend her & the procedure to anyone. I have no idea why I didn't do this sooner!! read more

I just had my touch-up appointment with Shay and I am so so so happy with the microblading service! I have suffered with Trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder) for years and I finally feel beautiful again with my amazing new brows and don't have to hide behind makeup or my glasses. I contacted Shay via text and she was very prompt to respond, answered ALL my questions and set up and appointment immedialtely. She had a very clean and professional work space and made me feel super comfortable right off the bat. She talked me through every step of the process as it was happening, so I knew what to expect. What a great experience! I was nervous going in as I didn't know what to expect but Shay made me feel comfortable right from the start and because of her experience I fully trusted her. The pain was minimal and she fully relaxed me explaining every step of the procedure as she went along. Her studio was spotless and inviting and she dispelled many rumours and untruths I had heard from other girls and their aestheticians. I had the ability to go to many other microblading artists that were recommended and less expensive but I chose Shay because of her long-time experience and certifications. got my eyebrow microbladded today by Shay. My first impression was amazing. Clean environment with a beautiful set up in her home. She was very clear on what she would be doing during the appointment and what I could expect. I have naturally dark hairy eyebrows but i wanted a solid shape to work with. She spent lots of time playing around with make up and measuring my face to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. The procedure itself was not painful, she was very gentle and used numbing cream. I can not explain how impressed I am with the results and I can not wait to see how they look in a week. They are dark right now as it has only been a day but the end result is going to be stunning. I was a little hesitant to have my eyebrows done because I had seen some that looked very false. After doing some research and checking out her website, as well as others, I made an appointment with Shay. Shay has done a great job of following the natural shape of my eyebrows, and making them appear natural. She was vey professional and pleasant and her salon area is professional and inviting. Worth every penny! My expectations were exceeded after taking a look in the mirror for the first time. I was seriously in Awe and speechless. This might sound silly, but I have been so self conscious of my eyebrows, even going as far as having bangs so I wouldn't have to deal with them. Shay changed this. My brows look flawless and have given me so much confidence I don't even wear makeup anymore. I am always getting compliments on how polished and natural they look and when I tell being they are tattoo'd on they don't believe me. Even after taking a closer look they think I'm full of it. Just like the two reviewers below me... I have to agree. Don't waste your money. I ended up having to go in for 2 additional sessions to get my eyebrows microbladed and every time I went in the shape of my eyebrows changed. Only once did she actually wait long enough for the numbing solution to actually start working... seems like she just rushed through every appointment I had with her. It has been 6 months since my last touch up and my eyebrows have almost completely disappeared. So disappointed... especially since it ended up costing me $800. read more
