On top of them, they raise money to rebuild schools and send books to the Philippines and ,Ecuador.. They have entertained kids of families who lost their homes in Fort McMurray fires, etc.. We love them!

He asked for a $50 deposit, which I sent, and although communication felt a bit minimal, he reassured me everything was confirmed when I followed up a couple of days before the party. Like most parents, I was a bit nervous not having a formal contract, but he told me everything was good to go and there was nothing else I needed to do. I even planned the party timing around his availability since he mentioned he had another booking later that day. Then, at 9:40 PM the night before the party, he texted saying he "might have double booked." He even asked if I was someone else (Emily), which made it clear something wasn't right. At that point, it felt like he was trying to back out rather than take responsibility. When I reminded him I had paid the deposit and shared our email history, he ultimately admitted he had double booked. This was incredibly stressful and disappointing--especially the night before a child's birthday party. I would not recommend relying on him for an important event. Thankfully, I was able to find a last-minute replacement who saved the day.

If you have a young kid who is bored doing all the typical sightseeing stuff, this was a good break for him and he easily spent an hour, and possibly an hour and a half, and he still didn't want to leave. It's not any place you need to go out of your way to visit, but if you're in the area and your young kid just needs a break from all the "boring" adult stuff, this is a good place to take them so they can let off some steam. Also, the whole Kids Market building is well done as well.
