I am going to start this review off my saying how truly hurt I am that I have to write this. I was…read moredeceived for so long, and can't even fathom that a business that is supposed to be about making people feel good, allowed this to go on for so long. I started going to bombshell extensions about a year ago, and switched from the tape in extensions to the microweft method that they offered. I though all was going well until coming to a different salon to have my colour done today. The purpose of me coming to a different salon in the first place was that they were unreachable for several weeks, and upon finally getting a response they were so unorganized that they couldn't even figure out who I was. I was a client at Bombshell for a year. The amount of bald spots, sores, and hair loss I have is unfathomable. Had someone told me 6 months ago that the extensions were causing so much damage I would have stopped - although I sense that is why they didn't tell me, they only care about money. On top of never having my hair washed between new extension installs, they didn't even bother to remove the old beads - they were adding new beads below the old ones to push the extensions up. The beads in my hair varied in colour from beige, black, and brown. They couldn't even use one colour. My hair is extremely fine as is, and I only wish that someone had been upfront with me about the damage it was causing. Had this method been done in a sanitary and appropriate method without short cuts, I feel I may not have had as much damage as I do. They only have one staff member now, and had to shut down their large salon so I do feel as though they have bitten off more than they can chew, causing corners to be cut. If you are in this industry, and industry that is supposed to be about making people feel good, you need to do things the right way. This includes but is not limited to washing hair between installs, using the same colour beads, cutting out the old beads, alternating placement to avoid balding/extreme tension on the hair, etc. Please reconsider the industry you are in so this does not happen to anyone else any longer.

They have been in for two weeks exactly. One of the worst beauty experiences I have had. I will now suffer from tension hair loss which I did not have before. I have cried a lot.

Their wigs are not too shabby I will say. They're styled for today's trends and come in various colours such as natural and OMG bright! Think Britney Spears shave my head and need to cover it up with a pink bobbed wig. Heck, some day's I think it'd be great to wear something like that. On a serious note, some of their wigs are made from human hair and aimed to women losing their hair, mostly from cancer. This store is not for everyone, but I'm thankful it's here for those that need it.

I first bought hair extension clip ins , when I got home I couldn't figure out how to use it. I contacted her and she was so accommodating and said I could exchange it for something else. I was looking for something to extend the length of my pony tail and she mentioned that she will make me a custom pony tail extension and she made me one in under a week . I wear it everyday and no one even knows it's a extension. Thank you Emma for making my life easier and for making me have confidence again . I show up, she takes me to her unfinished basement with insulation hanging from the roof and does my keratin infused hair extensions, assuring me that it's long enough, She told me I would have to tone it which isn't a problem because I do it all the time. She told me it would take a little bit long because my real hair was so short which is whatever, I wanted it done properly, she showed me pictures along the way of the transformation, and half way through informs me it will be $50 more. the bottom looked fine and then she gets on the phone to her cousin from back home speaking in her own language for the last 45 mins of the appointment and completely ignored me. Doesn't even get off the phone to see me out of the house or anything.. I get out of her house and instantly put on a touqe because It looks so ridiculous, once I get home, and look in the mirror at what she transformed my hair into.... a goddam mullet. I search all day Monday to find someone to fix it for me, which I finally do and have to spend hundreds of dollars to fix what she ruined. I msg her today telling her in upset at what she did and would like a refund. She promptly tells me that's not in her policy (which is posted no where on her fb page or in her basement, along with no certificates or licenses) and continues to block me and my boyfriend off Facebook. I'm absolutely appalled at her behavior and just wanted to warn anyone out there to avoid her services at all costs, she does microblading too so I can only imagine what those poor people end up with...please share and report her lack of customer service and human compassion for something she ruined in the first place. I just came back from Studio 107 for a hair cut. It was my first visit and I'm happy to report it…read moredid not disappoint! The style is exposed beam and brick - open concept studio. I was surprised at how many salon chairs there were - about a dozen I think. I spotted a nail salon area in the back as well. The layout is spacious - you hear others around you but never feel in someone else's space or conversation. Reanna gave me a lovely haircut today complete with styled curls. She listened to my hair concerns, offered options, and checked in throughout to see if the cut and style was going as I hoped. I would definitely return here again and recommend to others. Oh and I almost forgot, there's a lovely little complimentary tea and coffee nook when you walk in :-)

When Cherie moved from another salon to here, I followed her and I was really impressed when I walked in. It's a really posh looking place without being uptight or snooty. Everyone is really nice here. There's a coffee and water station by the entrance if you want something to drink during your service. There's also lots of great natural light coming in to the salon. I took a quick look through their price list and everything seems to be pretty reasonable and on par with other places in the area. I noticed a nail station as well, so I might have to check that out next time too.
