If you are looking for a salon that hand files instead of using drills, this is the place. They also don't use acrylic, but offer plexi gel instead. Everyone has been very nice, friendly, and the staff seem genuinely happy to be at work. The vibe is welcoming, woman-supportive, and incredibly clean! However, the booking process makes the overall experience awkward and frustrating. Because they are so busy, you are typically scheduled a month out. Due to returning clients who seem to get priority scheduling, the appointments fill up quickly. Furthermore, when I have had to reschedule, the conversation with the front desk falls flat. The staff doesn't suggest alternative dates or make rebooking a priority--they just leave it alone and tell you to look at the website. This hands-off approach makes the rescheduling process feel dismissive. As a first-time customer, I had no idea how to use their website and still resorted to calling to make sure it was correct. In hindsight, it would be much more professional and productive to just schedule right over the phone. While the quality of the nail service itself is great, the booking communication definitely has room for improvement. That is why I unfortunately won't be returning due to these scheduling issues.

My birthday is Saturday, February 14th so I wanted to treat myself to a nice relaxing pedicure and eyebrow waxing. I knew that I wanted callus remover and a gel pedicure. The woman kept telling me to try the other things but I just simply did not want those options. Upset, she stormed off to put the book down and came back to start the job. She not only cut me once, but twice! And when I verbally let out an ouch and pulled my foot back, she didn't offer an apology with softer behavior, she simply kept trying to do it and say that she needed to. My toe now hurts and was bleeding but she kept trying to rub oil on it to "heal" it. Girl, let my foot go. I went to pay and let the woman up front know and she asked to see my toe and she acknowledged the cuts and the woman who tended to me starts yelling in her native language in a very aggressive manner. This is my last time patronizing this place. I'm disgusted by the lack of customer service and respect. I still paid and tipped gracefully, as I have integrity and morals. PS: my toes look awful. I went to Maria on a whim to help me with my damaged hair, She was able to do the consult and fit me in same day which I loved, but how she handled my damaged hair was a bit rough. When washing she was scrubbing and pulling my hair all over, and not being delicate with already damaged hair. She brushed very harshly and fast like she was in a hurry, while blow drying my hair she was brushing my cheeks and forehead with the brush (mainly because she was going way too fast and not paying attention) she decided it was best to color my damaged hair (said it was semi) which I agreed too it left my hair super dry and a little more brittle. We did a tiny cut and she also did a olaplaex treatment. For those three things it was 170.00 I think that was a little expensive since she literally only took about half an inch off my hair. I loved how fast she got me in but she was just rushing too much and not really paying attention. I didn't realize it was her in home salon and when I showed up to the consult my son knocked on the door and she opened it in a robe that wasn't closed all the way and said she forgot about our appointment and couldn't believe it was already 2pm didn't even bother to tell us as a new client to go to the side door since it was her home. She seemed very knowledgeable, but she was very skittish, jumpy and rushing a lot. She reached out about a week later asking how my hair felt and I told her it was feeling this way and her response was "ya" and nothing else. Keeps asking me to write a review (asked me 3 times) so this is my honest open review. I wouldn't go to her if you have damaged hair because she was so rough with it. But anything else I think she knows what she is doing for the basics.

Also it was my first appointment when I booked I got no less then 15 texts and emails and j filled them out it was very confusing. Was told to arrive on time unless I needed to fill out forms I show up on time and show them the forms on my phone they don't have them. They deduct the time from my massage. Not a way to win new clients. My woman massage was in the hall way (seen her on my way to bathroom) seemingly very anxious talking to herself while she prepared (so she wasn't ready when i arrived anyway) she left me for an extended time to undress, asked for water she forgot, you won't get a full hour here no matter what as they deduct the time for them to get ready. Had an injury she worked on that area but was a little to harsh with moving it expecting me to be able to move it as normal. Check out was all about rebooking me even when I said I needed to see if it had even been helpful and then to pressuring me to use a male there.
