My problem is that she did not even start my daughter's hair at our appointment time. So those extra 15 minutes shouldn't have been charged to me. It would've been nice if she mentioned the extra charge as well instead of just smiling and saying her hair is so thick as she continued to thin it. She did a great job on my daughter's hair but shouldn't start late to do someone's hair and then charge them extra time for going over the hour without asking if I want you to take the "extra time". It was just a bit frustrating.

I was with a hair stylist for almost 20 years that did what she wanted to my hair and it was terrible. When I finally left and came to Taylor, I was very scared and and nervous. Regretfully, I probably wasn't the nicest person because at that point I did not trust hair stylist. But Taylor is not like this at all! She takes her time and makes sure to show you the process and explain everything. She gives her professional opinion but does not push you into a color or cut. She does not rush your appointment or have multiple people going at once. She makes sure to show me what the hair looks like through out the process to ease my nerves if we are doing something different. She has the bubbliest personality and always makes me laugh and enjoy getting my hair done. There is so much more I could say about Taylor but this review would be so much longer than it is already is. This was absolutely the worst experience I think I've ever had at a salon. Marin became overwhelmed when she realized how patchy the bleach was at the root, and without communicating at all, slapped a brown dye over my roots, which just obviously added to the lack of blending into the blonde highlights. From there she tried to send me on my way without even finishing the blunt cut she started. After I asked what was happening, she sent Joe over who told me he didn't see the problem and it was just the light. After hearing how my hip length hair was suddenly to my shoulders, he offered to fix the color, which I accepted as long as he did it and not the inexperienced stylist. I showed up to my 5:30 appointment time and sat waiting for 30 minutes while he walked around, chatted with staff, and decided to teach a lesson on curl technique. When I stood up to leave, as I had an appointment after that was clearly stated to them when booking, and reassured would be fine, he had the audacity to look me in the face and say "weren't we only supposed to start 15 minutes ago? They must have booked you wrong". This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had, I would NEVER recommend this salon to ANYONE. I had been a happy client here for years, and clearly it's because I had never met the owner. I'm now left with a hack job haircut and patchy hair one week before my shower and 90 days from my wedding. Please do not ever consider this salon. An unprofessional leader creates unprofessional staff, and clearly this place is going downhill fast. I would recommend reading other 1 star reviews where rather than taking accountability for the "professional services" they screwed up for others, they leave a 5 page paragraph telling the reviewer to basically F off. Poor management, poor customer service while touting a professional experience, and a lack of accountability for services they can't actually provide. Only go here if you're willing to hate how you look and feel afterward.

I have been to other places in town, thinking that a "barber" was the better route to being that I'm a dude. You could get two haircuts at cross roads and have change to spare, and it still won't equal how much you are paying at other places local.
