A mix of the past with a touch of the new... a beautiful mansion turned into a beautiful hotel keeping the warmth of the beautiful wood but updated with modern amenities for your convenience... walking through the front door you can feel the history and can't help but instantly admire and respect the craftsmanship in every detail that was put into the railings, the stained glass and the textures and colours of the walls. A friendly greeting and pleasant experience at the front desk you are given a room key... Yes an actual room key... That opens the door to an outstanding room with all the same class and elegance of the lobby but with an updated bathroom, a king size bed and all the conveniences of a new hotel from the flatscreen TV to the mini fridge in the desk and an Nespresso machine for your morning or evening espresso... whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner you're looking for, you need not leave the hotel, the House restaurant is every bit as elegant as the rest of the hotel with great service, a classy ambiance and excellent chef driven cuisine... You will not be disappointed!! This was an experience... A wonderful experience... When I made the appointment over the phone, I was able to reserve the whirlpool area for right before our massages. We had the whirlpool and other rooms all to ourselves which was really nice. They had everything from robes, towels and slippers for us. Even prepped our room with ice cold waters & was able to leave our belongings in their lockers. When our time in the whirlpool area was up, someone came and grabbed us and left bags for our bathing suits and fresh robes then brought us to our massage room. I had Emelie work on me and my fiancé had Sabrina. I have a lot of experience with getting massages and usually I have to ask my masseuse to go harder or focus on one area more (usually my neck or shoulders) but Emelie was a pro! She took her time with each of my knots she came across and I know this is a bold statement but I believe she is the best masseuse I have ever had!! My fiancé really enjoyed his massage from Sabrina too and almost fell asleep from being so relaxed lol I have seen the previous reviews of not so great experiences from past customers but my experience was truly top notch and I'm sooooo glad I found this gem! They asked me to bring a model for a men's haircut. I found a model. Hairdresser Heather said that I should find a model for highlights within three weeks. These people gave me hope. I didn't look for other options. It looked like they were interested in me. Then something changed. They told me that they weren't sure if they needed an apprentice, despite advertising for one. Before them, I worked for 1.5 years in my profession. I took these people seriously. The receptionist, Linsia, did not call me back for a week. By this time, I found a model for highlights. I had to call multiple times to get a response. Like they ignored me. This salon at first glance gives the impression of being a place where professionals work, but the way they behave is a different story. It seems that they do not respect other people and feel they are superior to apprentices. Hairdressers in all salons take on apprentices. This is a rule and it saves them money.  They could have called me back and told me about their decision. But apparently these people are not familiar with the concepts of professional ethics.  This situation showed me that even in a beautiful salon there can be dishonest, deceitful, arrogant people. But I'm glad I don't work with these fake people. Maybe this review will help someone avoid the same waste of time and disappointment I had.

This happens occasionally with me at other places I've been to so it definitely a certain type of wax. But I'm fine at most places. The mani/pedi was great and 5 day later, I only have a small chip on my thumb. My toes look great. The aesthetician worked hard on my toes and I thought I may end up with some abrasions but I haven't. No ingrown nails either. They stayed open late for me (I arrived about 630, they close at 7) and suggested dinner next door for me. There is private lot parking and WiFi.

My natural lashes began falling out from the root. The spa itself is lovely, and they were quick to book me same-day for a removal (which is basically pulling them out, and my once decent eyelashes are now stubby and damaged) with a different girl who confirmed that they were not applied correctly. I will advise ladies against going to Limeblu for any lash extension service. I really do not think the woman who did them originally should be allowed to do them in an otherwise professional spa.

Elena (I'm sorry if I got this wrong, I am terrible with names!) was a lot of fun to talk to, as well; it seems the art of conversation is something a lot of stylists have lost, but not her. She also gave me some good tips on how to manage my hair in future, things easily done at home. When I need a haircut or a style again, I am definitely going here.

They take a lot of care to make sure you're comfortable and they do a great job. I haven't had hair services here, I mainly have gone for the Aveda Mani/Pedis, they are AMAZING (Lindsay & Meghan are awesome!), I've done the express mani/pedi as well, also great. I've had my brows waxed and a number of elemental facials, all fantastic experiences. The only thing I would say negatively, is that when you're in the back room for a facial, you can hear a lot going on in the salon, so it's not super 'peaceful', but it's still great! I would recommend this salon and spa (and have) to all my family and friends. (I do believe they accept walk-ins, but I always book in advance) - little tip - if you're interested in a Mani/Pedi go to the "Packages" tab on the website and book a "Basics" package, it's an extra couple bucks, but you get an eyebrow wax included. **Update** I have since had my hair styled here for my brothers wedding, they did a great job! Went to pay and they wouldn't honour my reward because I was paying with gift cards I bought at Costco. What am I saving on the gift cards if I have to give up my hard earned reward to use them? Nothing. Then they took away my manicure discount that was advertised, again because I was paying with gift cards. I told the girl I was unimpressed, but she continued on. Oh, then she didn't stamp my rewards card for this visit, even though she said she would. Just overall shady service. The following week, we went to get a massage. Our eyes just bulged at the prices really. Maybe I've been spoiled, but it's hard for me to justify paying $155 for a 75 minute massage for two. We sucked it up though, because I thought, hmm, with how much they charge you, they must do a magnificent job right? Right? WRONG! They asked me how hard they wanted to massage me and I said medium. The girl just rubbed my body for a little over and hour. Not massage, just rub it, like you would rub a childs back when you try to comfort them, When I asked for a little bit more pressure, I got none. When it was done, I asked boyfriend how his massage was, and he hated it too. We especially hated how much we had to pay for it. What a freaken rip off. Don't go here, don't support this place, they have no right to sell massage packages when they clearly don't have any idea what a massage is. And while I love Costco, shame on them for even selling Artistic's gift cards. I honestly think this entire place is a scam
