I am so desperate and upset. Please please if you are looking to dye your hair do NOT go to this salon. They charged me 533 dollars for this mess! I asked for a dark red color and they made the back of my head bright red and the front brown. my hair is very blocky!!! I came in with a color correction request and Isabella said she could do it. The tips of the front and back of my hair had some faded green on it and 90% of my hair was my natural dark brown color. There were multiple red flags throughout my time there. she didn't listen to my request. Instead of dyeing my hair red she used a high lift developer with a copper color. When she washed out my hair at the sink she said "it's such a nice copper!" The other girl working said "I love this ginger color" And I said "I wanted dark red..." she then asked to see the photo again and threw a dark red color over all of it. while Isabella was putting the color on my head she asked another employee to mix more for her. The woman asked what ratio she was using (1:1 or 1:2) and Isabella shrugged and said "whatever I feel like doing in the moment I do it different every time" That is really concerning when you are putting chemicals in someone's hair!!! I left the salon that day with dark brown hair. I contacted them afterwards and asked if they could do anything to make it more red and closer to the color I wanted. The ginger color she put on first and the red she put on after had made my hair look really muddy and it looked orange in the light. Isabella said she could do highlights in my hair to get it closer to the red I wanted. I came back and she said she would do panels on my head instead. She asked me which color swatch I preferred and I explicitly said I didn't want fire engine red. As you can see in the photos the whole back of my head is the exact red I didn't want. when Isabella was washing my hair out in the sink she sounded nervous. Probably because it was bright red in the back when she brought me to the mirror she looked really disappointed. She told me that maybe I can wear my hair all pushed to the front to cover the brown in the front. What kind of solution is that? I asked Isabella what the next step would be to getting my hair all one color and she couldn't answer. A different employee told me that the front will fade. How will the dark brown color in the front EVER fade to a bright red color???? Isabella knew my hair looked bad. She looked disappointed and she said "if you have any issues call the salon tomorrow" She didn't say it looked good. Didn't seem excited at all. She looked extremely disappointed. She knew she messed up my hair. When I contacted the salon for guidance, help, a refund ANYTHING for the monstrosity they put on my head they gaslit me and told me that I was too impatient with the process, this was the end result, and that they would be no longer serving my hair. I've been crying non stop. At this point I would appreciate just an apology for making me look so horrible. read more

If I can remove the one star I would! Charge me $200 to destroy my hair. Worst color I've ever had done in 40 years! Then lied about it and refused to fix it. Dreadful, dishonest, less than mediocre, disrespectful, insulting, worst hair tragedy... Should've looked at the reviews first... It will take at least 10 months to grow out and fix the damage done. Another $250 to fix it. My friend took me to her salon in NJ and they were horrified that anyone would do such a thing and then refused to fix it. My honest review with this place! I went to this place around October of 2023 and they ended up giving me an appointment for November. At first I was very excited to get my hair with Isabella, but my hair didn't come out the way that it was suppose to. I have been debating if to place this review on there page but I believe someone else should see this before booking with them. When I had first spoken with Isabella, I told her that I wanted my hair to have ashy blonde balayage highlights in my hair. I showed her the pictures of hair that resembled what I wanted. She then told me that she wasn't able to do that hair on me on the first try but she can do a ashy light brown balayage highlights on my hair. She proceeded to show me pictures of the hair she can do on me. So we booked the appointment. She was doing my hair and proceeded to ask me if I wanted money front piece on my hair and I told her yes I would like it to be very bold in the front of my face. Well, we went threw the whole 6 hours process of my hair... just for it to look the same. As you can see in the picture she basicly just spread all the lighter color all over my hair and didn't give me a money piece. Plus, the brown she put in my highlights wasn't the light ashy brown I was expecting. As you can see the brown is very orange like and dark. The only thing I liked about it was the haircut she gave me. Plus **** after a couple days of everyone telling me that my hair looked the same.. I started to contact them and tell them to fix the problem. They at first didn't want to do anything and literally made me waist my 500 dollars. But after involving some people... they manage to just give me shampoo and conditioner for the way the left my hair. This place doesn't give out refunds or to fix your hair plus the guy that works there is super rude and the way that they do there job is unprofessional. read more

I recently moved to North Rockland and have been looking for a new salon nearby for some time now and this place was recommended to me by a bunch of my friends. I went in today and Ashley cut and styled my hair. She was amazing! She was very sweet, made sure to look at my hair before it was washed to see what she was working with (almost like a consultation) and then I was sent for a wash. She asked exactly what I wanted and was very thorough. Halfway through blow drying and styling, she noticed I had shampoo residue in my hair and sent me for another wash. Then, she reblowdried my hair and dusted the ends of my hair again to make sure everything was even. I have never had a stylist be so pristine with my hair, try her best to cut and style to my liking, and all for only $45! That's such a bargain compared to what I was paying at other salons in New City and basically getting rushed through a haircut. I would absolutely recommend this place; they don't push their products on you and everyone was so friendly. read more

I decided to try this place after seeing some Great before and after pics on Instagram. I showed the stylist a photo of what I wanted (a photo of her own work on a different client from Instagram). My hair didn't come out anything like the picture. My hair is orange, brassy looking and is very uneven. There are entire chunks that are still my original color, no "melting" or "blending" and looks as though my roots have already been growing out for weeks. When I noticed how horrible my hair looked in the sunlight, I called the salon the very next day to see what could be done. The manager, Nicole, was very nice and said that I could come back within two weeks and have it fixed free of charge. I made an appointment for the next day hoping that the same stylist would add more highlights, even out the color and make it brighter, less brassy. She did none of the above. She "painted" a few extra streaks and that was pretty much it. I'm disappointed and annoyed that I will have to pay again to go somewhere else for my hair to be fixed. read more
