There is everything from fine oils to watercolors to pottery to clothing to jewelry (they carry NO mignon faget). There is something for just about everyone here. There was no hard sells and the staff was very knowledgeable about the artists and their art. There is even a space in the back for an artist in residence to paint while visitors watch. No one was painting on the sleepy Thursday morning when I stopped in but the easel and a work in progress were set up.

I don't know if I would describe Walter Anderson's stuff as folk art or funky art, but he was most definitely influenced by this area that I happen to love. It's not what I would describe as fancy pants or highfalutin, but it is most definitely my kind of art. Realizations is chock full of Walter Anderson originals. There are books of prints, postcards, clothing, bookmarks, large scale prints, and everything else you can think of. Pieces range from a few dollars for a card or bookmark to more expensive for some of the lager pieces. On my most recent trip I picked up some bookmarks for myself and to give as a gift (I'm a classy dude). I suspect there will be several more trips in my future as well. You made it this far? Nice! We also spent some time upstairs in the museum with Rob, who explained the swords and weapons displayed. It was very interesting and informative. We visited the cemetery as well. They have golf carts to rent if you have mobility issues or are too lazy to walk. We walked. This is a fine, historic property and something you should check out in Biloxi.
