Always such an enjoyable trip, and the experience differs depending on the time of year. That said,…read morewe visit multiple times over the course of the year for various reasons. In the Spring, their garden center simply can't be beat. I purchase flats of vegetables for my garden here, and the plants always do incredibly well. Healthy, good producers, and for a great price. There also offer many varieties I can't find elsewhere. The market truly shines here. Fresh baked goods are incredible. Donuts, pies, cakes, etc. are all excellent. Fresh milk, vegetables, and eggs are also amazing. However, we LOVE their meats. You can't go wrong with any of them. The petting zoo is great for children and families. It is certainly elaborate and fun. Staff are kind and helpful, always willing to strike up conversation. Prices are reflective of the quality here. We love it. Try it out!

A little bit of everything at this fun location…read more You're either coming here for the petting zoo and finding out there is also a farmer's market, or you're here for a farmer's market and finding out there is also a petting zoo. Either way, everyone's a winner. The petting zoo is much larger than others in the area, giving the pets and the customers a lot of space to roam around. You can buy your tickets online, or with the QR code on site, or with cash at the booth located at the zoo entrance at the top of the hill past the upper parking lot. The farmers market provides amazingly fresh produce, fruits, veggies, baked goods, and a pre-made food selection. You can order a fresh sandwich, sides and soup. A delicious bonus. Somethings look out for include sparce parking at the top of the hill where the farmers market is, but plenty further down and towards the greenhouse. Also seating to eat is located in the back past checkout in the playground area that is also lacking a number of tables, but make meeting new people an experience when sharing seating. A fun adventure rolled into one location.

I found these guys on Gig Master and really lucked out. https://www.gigmasters.com/brass-band/street-beat Jeff and the Street Beat Brass Band created the most memorable and joyous experience for our wedding party, guests, locals and tourists as they escorted us across the bridge and played for another hour at the wedding reception during cocktail hour. Jeff and his band were super-accommodating, discussing with us exactly what we wanted all within our budget. Moreover, having the Street Beat Brass Band as part of our celebration was, to us, what makes this great city of ours so unique and special--the delight on the faces of our wedding party, the NYPD, the Mr. Softee Ice Cream truck guy and all the people we encountered along the route over the bridge, in Dumbo and on the F and R train surpassed our expectations. Book these guys if you want to surprise and delight your guests at your next event and want to create a lasting impression.

Whether it's Funk, Dixieland, Jazz, Latin, Gospel, Klezmer or Polka. As seen on ABC, NBC, NY1 and more TV. Opened for the NY Philharmonic, toured abroad for the US State Department. Street Beat Brass adds much more than a typical band to create the atmosphere you desire. We specialize in our mobility, as we are strolling horns and drums musicians untethered to electric chords, amps, stages, etc. We can lead a second line parade, create a theme of Mardi Gras, the Swing era, Roaring 20's and more. Also great for any corporate function, surprise, flash mob, indoor or outdoor setting. Call for a free quote!
