Bought a Groupon for my wife as a gift. After leaving three messages with no response, I had to contact Groupon for a refund.

I have tried calling them so many times but never got a response back. As I have bought a Groupon and looking for an appointment from last 15 days but every time I call it goes to answering machine, I left a message on it and never heard the response back from them. After being told raving things about this place by a close friend who was going to Jene Knebel, owner of Sheers Salon, I was very impressed by Jene's background (highly trained in cut/color, came from a very 'prestigious' salon in St. Louis and decided to open a place in her home town of Highland), but could not see myself driving an hour 1-way from my home in St Charles County for a haircut and color - no matter how good it was! Then, I found that Highland, IL was in my sales territory, and that i was now going through this way quite frequently! I have to say - I am so happy I checked it out - and now enjoy kicking back to a relaxing audiobook to get my hair done! Jene is absolutely adorable and a joy to talk to! Coming from St. Louis into a tini-er town - you get this small-town warm and cozy feel (think Steel Magnolia's) as you sit and chit chat with the ladies around you! I always leave with a smile on my face! Not only that, but the work is magnificent! My mom could never stand my blonde highlights as she doesn't like 'processed blonde' - and she recently complimented my color! Shellie Fields in this salon is also very talented - I just have not been to her yet - but she is also a blast to talk to! :) Thank you Sheers for making my hair treatments so enjoyable! read more
