I have to say that this is one of the few Sheetz that I've experienced with and it's actually not bad. Definitely one of the cheaper places to get gas, and the fountain drinks are really cheap. I've heard the food is pretty good for gas station food, but I have yet to try it. The one thing that bothers me about this particular station is that lately, the sensors for the pumps are not detecting when you put the pump back. You have to jiggly and shake the thing and pull it out and put it back in just to get it to register. Kind of annoying. Other than that though? I've never had too many issues here and it's fairly safe from what I can tell. read more

USE THE CAR WASH AT THIS LOCATION AT YOUR OWN RISK. I used to work for a rental car company in the vicinity and we took our cars over there. Busy, busy so it wasn't until about the fourth time when we really noticed that the car we had just taken over there pretty much looked the same as it did as when we brought it. The same dirt was present in the same spots. The same thing happened again, so it wasn't a fluke. I can't speak for their car washes at other locations, but I can't imagine they can be that much different. Honestly, it is like the car wash at that location washes your car with a dirtier car. Again, this is my experience, our cars did not come back clean. So, beware before you plunk down 10 bucks (or any bucks) for a wash there. My guess as to why the car turns out like that is because there are no actual soft brushes going up against the car. Their "dirt removal"/ laser wash idea of just spraying the paint with soap and water seems to be very ineffective. read more

Gas prices are competitive and the place is always clean. But over the years passing through this place I have noticed the price of the food is starting to really skyrocket. If you want an egg sandwich all the toppings are "Ala carte" 50 cents for this, 40 cents for that $1 more for this etc. A simple bacon and egg can really add up! I just got one with an OJ and it nearly topped $10.00! For that amount I might as well sit in a diner and be waited on. Meanwhile there's a Mickey Ds next door. 2 similar size and fresh made breakfast sandwiches (and they have meat AND cheese don't have to pay extra!) for $3.33 and ANY size coffee is a buck. You can debate it all you want, but the bottom line is that Sheets is still "gas station" food. read more

Sheetz typically has the cheapest gas prices in this side of town. It's convenient and close to a lot of other places I go. It's in a safe area and it's well lit. That's a determining factor for me when picking a gas station, especially at night. Their drinks and snacks are pretty cheap. The MTO food service is pretty quick as well, keep in mind that it is gas station food after all. Although its probably not much different than fast food. The employees are nice and they usually have 2-3 registers open since it is a busy gas station. read more

Sheetz food isn't the best thing in town, but it is quick, cheap, and available 24/7. I must say sheetz are always fairly clean, and the one on 150 is no different. Try their doughnuts they are surprisingly good. I had the peanut butter filled one it was like a Reece's cup. Staff were very friendly and helpful. read more

This should be a negative star not a positive one..After the judgment I got From the store supervisor Joe I will never stop by another sheetz again.. I stopped in for a few things and proceeded to check out .. I was not able to purchase everything I needed bc even though I am the age of 32 I had my 15 yr old niece with me like any regular Saturday and was denied a product because I didn't look old enough to purchase cigars (even though my DL clearly says my age) ."I have a 16 yr old son so if u brought him in the store , would I still be denied to purchase a nicotine product"..I asked her.. and she said "yes if he looks my age" like what does looks have to do with a person who is legally old enough to buy whatever I feel? I was the one clearly purchasing the item .. and I was discriminated against because of the way I look? and as a supervisor she should have known to use her head instead of judging me to think I wasn't doing the right thing.. I mean how stupid would I be to buy a product for a young person and have then standing with me?!? Let's all be adults about a situation..I can't help I don't look my age..I guess I could take it as a compliment but it's actually really discrimination.... so Beware if u use nicotine products don't take ur nieces n nephews in with you .. or your kids if ur a young parent like me .. you will be denied service even if u have your DL clearly present on you.. read more

My favorite gas station by far, very helpful and friendly staff for such a rough job. It's a bit pricey as far as made to order food and drinks to but it's always worth it! My father recently stopped in on veterens day and was so pleased with how respectful and helpful everyone was, thanks to Sheetz for giving him a wonderful meal and an even better day! read more

Best gas station in the Winston Salem area. Prices are always great and the store and parking lot are very clean. They have "free" air for your tires and the machine has a cool feature where you set the exact air pressure you want and it stops automatically when it gets to that point. I haven't tried their food so I can't really comment on that aspect of things. read more
