I'm normally a big fan of Sheetz and all they have to offer. I originally stopped in here to use the restroom and for an early lunch. First stop was the restroom which was nothing like any Sheetz restroom I've ever been in, and not in a good way. It was filthy, simply put. It smelled to bad and musty that I had to hold my breath the entire time I was in there, and not because someone had recently blown it up. It just semlled like it had not been cleaned in far too long. The partitions between urinals had graffiti on them (of no fault of Sheetz) but also seemed to have mold and other questionable residues on the. The counter with the sinks and the floor both didn't seem like they've been cleaned any time recently and the trash was about to overflow. Immediately outside the bathrooms were numerous stacks of empty boxes and trash bags. The main part of the store was not messy or dirty, just the back area near the bathrooms and the bathrooms appeared to be severely neglected. After seeing the bathrooms I was concerned about the condition of the kitchen and left without ordering food. Not sure what's going on here but I was avoid this location if you can. read more

My whole intent in visiting Sheetz was to get fuel before the winter storm approached, and that I accomplished -- with a bit of a discount thanks to my Sheetz card (consider getting one if you'd like to pay a few cents less). And while I didn't go inside the store, I still found an additional benefit to my trip, for Sheetz offers free compressed air for topping off one's tires. It's rare to find a public source for compressed air that doesn't want at least a dollar. I don't know if every Sheetz is so equipped, but it wouldn't surprise me if they are. read more

I stop at sheetz gas stations frequently when traveling and they have been clean, well staffed and the MTO's are great. Thursday evening I stopped at the one on Stratford rd in Winston and it was a pig sty. Every garbage can was over flowing and food scraps were everywhere. The button to push the gas grade was broken and I could not cancel my card input. I went inside to see if cashier could cancel it. There was one guy working and he was too busy looking at a slurpee machine to wait on the customers in line. The store was dirty, the parking lot looked like a dumpster and no engaged employees. I skipped getting a MTO sandwich and will avoid that place in the future. read more

This is by far the dirtiest Sheetz I've ever set foot in. Oh my. There were zero employees on the floor tidying up, or anywhere for that matter. The coffee station was absolutely DISGUSTING. Everything was sticky, dirty, cups of black coffee laying around, napkins, straws, creamer and sugar everywhere. My boots were sticking to the floor; I could not wait to get the hell out of here. Very disappointing because Sheetz is usually a very clean, tidy and an enjoyable experience; not this one unfortunately. Im from Miami, FL and I've never been to a Sheetz until I drove up here and gosh do I wish we had one in my hometown. This place has everything you need when on the road: gas, fast food, a convenience shop, and clean bathrooms. I've noticed the gas is a tad more pricey than other stations, but it's worth the extra dollars for how clean and efficient this place is. I am even surprised by how good their fast food was. My favorite is their spicy chicken tenders- SO good. The tater tots were a little too greasy and the mac was okay. But at the end of the day, this is the best gas station I've ever been to & I really hope they open up in south Florida. read more

If I could give this store less stars I would. I have never seen such lack of concern for a customer's satisfaction and happiness from somewhere. They screw up and you want it fixed? Be prepared to catch attitude, even from the managers. Just want what I paid for to start with, is that unreasonable? I went in this sheetz yesterday morning because it is close to my work. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwich at 315. I didn't receive it till 345 because it was sitting on the counter in the kitchen getting cold. The girl working there asked me and another what we were waiting for and seen that both of our orders where there. Several others came in and received their orders. This store is nasty. When I walk past the fountain drink machine there is always dried up soda on the counter and on the floor. Hard too tell who works there because no one is wearing a uniform except one person and that is the one that was storing my food on the counter. The employees that work there are oblivious to what is happening there. I have complained before about this store but as of yesterday it seems no one has done anything about it. I love the sheetz stores. Others I have went too before have never been in such disarray as this store is on many occasions. Management is failing this store and their employees on so many levels. read more

He always remembers what I usually get and makes suggestions on something different so I end up trying lots of new things from the store. I need an employee like that! Anyway the store is clean and well stocked and the food is delicious... They also have gas at a reasonable price. Overall this is a really great convenience store. Sheetz is already at the top of the chain as chain convenience store/gas stations go. With their Made to order menus, numerous beverages and snacks and pre-made sandwiches and items you can always find something good to eat! This specific Sheetz has an outdoor seating area which is wonderful on a warm summer day! They also have tons of gas pumps so you almost never have to wait and can be on your way! read more

I stopped by here last night to grab a quick drink on the way to a friends house. The store was very nice and seemed clean to me. I didn't inspect it but from what I could see, it looked fine. I have had a hot dog from here before and it was decent. I keep meaning to try other things but there isn't one that close to me. I usually will visit the closest and cheapest gas station if I'm just getting gas. However, if I also want to stop for food, drinks, or restrooms that are CLEAN, I always come here! They tend to be busier than most gas stations, but they always have clean bathrooms and also not just snacks or candy... They actually have a small cafe to order food like chicken tenders, burgers and even breakfast. I was skeptical at first to try it, but to my surprise it was actually good food for a cheaper price than fast food! I had a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on Texas toast and coffee. They still have typical "grab and go" snacks, candy and sodas, but they also have an actual dining area to eat both inside or outside which I love. The gas prices are also the same as the others, but with my Sheetz card I save 3cents a gallon! So for me it's a definite win-win! read more

I placed an online order and upon arrival to pay for and pick up my food there were 11 people in line and one cashier at the register, while there were 4 other workers around the store talking amongst themselves. After getting my food I got home only to find out that my hot dog has a hair in it and my chicken strips weren't tossed in the garlic parmesan sauce they were ordered to be in, nor did I even get the sauce. read more

Always opened, and shockingly always clean. Even with my Sheetz card, I tend to go elsewhere for gas. Last night I went a little down the road and saved 12 cents a gallon. The food is pretty good, especially for quick on the go. They have something for everyone. Staff are typically friendly, today they were having issues with the atm machine and she kept apologizing for the inconvenience. Though honestly there was no real hold up it still nice customer service. A lot of the prices and selection is why I come back. They always have something new, and always have so many choices and ways to customize it. The line is always out the door. I wish this location had a drive thru and car wash like some of the others. They however have an amazing patio area. read more

This Sheetz is always dead. Plenty of Gas Pumps with no crowded parking lot like the one on Wendover Ave. I guess that is what I have become accustom to though. I only stop at this location when I am on my way to a party at a friends house. This place is always VERY clean, just not that much going on. read more

As I think I've mentioned in other reviews, I love Sheetz. I have been to this location many times and it has been pretty terrific. I haven't eaten here, but I've dropped by to fuel up and to grab one of the amazing diet grape sodas! Like all the Sheetz that I have ever seen, this one is typical with it's clean, bright, crisp appearance. it's very heavy on the advertising, both in the media and inside the store. Went to store in Winston Salem NC ordered 2 frozen hot chocolates. Paid for them and waited. Kept asking where they were. She said our number was called. I told her it wasn't and another customer said the same thing that number was not called. All 3 employees behind counter argued that number was called. If drinks were made and number was called where were the drinks. Why were they not handed to us when I kept asking? We waited over 10 minutes. read more

Admittedly, it IS a convenience store/gas staion/sandwich shop; but if you have to stop for gas anyway, why not get a great sandwich/snack/drink at the same time? 24-7 hours makes it convenient for late nighters and travelers. Part of the fun is ordering via the computer. This allows you to see the many options that is available for your sub/hot dog/pizza/drinks.Service is quick but my only complaint is that you order, go to another checkout to pay, then return to the first location to pick up. I had a coupon for a sandwich and a milkshake - no strings attached, so I had to give it a shot. It was only on arrival that I realized that it is a gas station/convenience store/sub shop. On principle, I do not eat anywhere, where gas is also served, but I decided to make an exception - just this once. My second surprise was that you order via a computer, which was about as annoying as self-checkout at the grocery store. I had to go through at least five screens to pick out my smoothie-like drink. Everything about my meal had a cheap look and taste to it. I got the club sub, which was definitely below par for the sub genre. I also got a small order of fries, which were too salty and came in a paper sleeve that did not prevent them from emptying into my plastic grocery bag. My mocha slushy drink was the highlight of my meal, and even this was dampened by the fact that my straw was nonfunctional. I wouldn't go without a coupon. read more
