First, the employees and their friendliness are just superior. This is the case no matter how long his shift has been, after I've driven to the store twice over a period of several hours, and he is still working. Moreover, all other employees, with whom I've dealt, have just been extraordinarily nice, genuinely friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to help a customer. This is the same, in my experience, whether in-store or drive-through. Additionally, I appreciate that they are all, also, professional without seeming aloof, cloying, or mechanistic. What's more, on the occasion that food has been ordered, it has always been fresh and delicious. Indeed, it might seem overly-complimentary, but I truly enjoy every visit to this Sheetz, and they deserve, and have earned a great review.

The place sees a lot of foot traffic, since it is open 24/7. Upon walking in, you are greeted by friendly employees at two counters, the front checkout and the food serbice/order counter. The inside of the facility is clean and bright, with a wide assortment of food, drinks, and other miscellaneous items for automobiles, health needs, and more at your convenience. I found it difficult to choose what I wanted for an afternoon snack, because there was so much to choose from. LOL Anyone stopping in here should not be disappointed. Jerry picked up lunch from Gay's for us on two occasions. The warm German Potato Salad we had with the American Goulash (we call it Beef-A-Roni at our house) was the surprise find...bacon, bits of translucent onion, and an herbed dressing with that just right tart sweet balance. Buttered Peas and Creamy Mashed Potatoes covered with brown gravy begged to be sides for the tomato ketchup glazed Meatloaf. Our family appreciated the touch Gay had when seasoning her vegetables, and the Baby Limas with Fried Pork Chop were another hit. We couldn't pass up a bowl of Chili Beans, flavorful but not burn your mouth spicy. You will have no need to go back to the Cracker Barrel once you taste Gay's Hashbrown Casserole with its cheesy browned goodness. Yes! It was that good! The staff is always very friendly and the bathrooms and the convenient store is clean. I did like that they have a fuel rewards card to save money at the five cents per gallon. However the discount that you save sometimes is not worth driving across town. I do find it funny that they had the fastest pumps in town according to their sign but usually half are not functioning. Overall I will continue to come for the convenience factor of being so close but do not mind driving further in order to have better pumps much bigger selection inside and faster service
