Although much of the indoor space is dedicated to serving or consuming food, it's difficult to find something healthy . All the fruit was on the last sell- by date. Avoid the tacos! I love Sheetz. I have never had a bad experience at a Sheetz location...until now. Got two turkey wraps and an egg and cheese bagel the turkey wraps were tortillas with a slice of turkey apiece, a slice of tomato, and some incorrect sauces. The egg and cheese bagel was missing the egg. I don't know how you can mess up that badly on something so basic. Literally ordered the exact same thing from a different Sheetz location on our way through PA a day prior and it was incredible. I don't know what went wrong at this location, but I can only hope it was a ton of things, because that's the only explanation I can come up with. read more

The shining beacon at the top of this stretch, wearing red regalia, is Sheetz. What an amazing place to stop to eat and get gas, and also fill your car with fuel. I always stop in Breezewood going to and from my family in Pittsburgh. We arrived at the Sheetz around 10 am, so we just needed the bathroom break. Nearly everyone we encountered or observed had a mask on. The bathroom was not highly occupied and relatively clean, probably more clean than pre-COVID. We used the changing table stall and were in and out quickly. I'd stop here again on our next trip. read more

Talk about a busy place along the Lincoln Highway. It also doesn't hurt that this is a big interchange for the turnpike and this Sheetz sits right at that interchange so there is no way you can purposefully miss it. Even though Breezewood seems to be having some trouble keeping older businesses from heading out Sheetz decided to build an amazing location here (look around while here, there are lots of empty/old/unused buildings). Nice big lot with ample parking for those buses and semis if they need to squeeze in here to take care of some snacking needs. This store has basically everything you need, only downside is that this one does not have a drive thru, especially hard if you don't want to get out the car and continue your journey along the turnpike. That is literally the only thing wrong about this place. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Wifi if you plan to take a much needed rest and catch up on things online. Newer touchscreens making it faster and easier to order your MTO. Service is quick here. read more

This Sheetz was insanely busy on an early Sunday afternoon. Honestly busier than any Sheetz I've ever been to. Cars lined up from all angles for gas and parking spaces. Just nuts. The layout of the parking lot was not great for the amount of cars that were packed in there..no easy way in or out really. Inside the lines for both food and checkout stretched throughout the entire store. It was an updated Sheetz model with seating inside and out for eating. The employees seemed overwhelmed and annoyed..which I really couldn't blame them for..the place was an absolute mad house. This place here is great! I was coming back to DC from Cleveland and I was looking for something to eat..I saw sheets and thought "Meh..let me just grab some snacks." I was surprised at the variety of selections! So many drinks! So much candy! So many cookies! AND THEN..YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN MILKSHAKES!! When I tell you I wanted to take the machine home...I need that! After selecting "cookies and cream" for my milkshake I did the "make your own food" and I tell you that this was the best stop to make because I made THEEE best sandwich..yea I almost drove back for seconds. This particular time I got one of their breakfast sandwiches. Chicken and bacon on a biscuit with eggs and cheese. Well let me tell you, that was a bad idea lmao. Because the rest of the trip (and the rest of the day, honestly) my stomach was no good. That's the only thing I ate that day, so it had to be the sandwich that made me sick. On the way to D.C. with a mini bus full of college students eager to stretch their legs and get some food in their bellies, we opted to stop here. It was really busy which was expected, but it met every need. The bathrooms were pretty clean for the busyness. The MTO line moved at a reasonable. And we were able to park our bus in the back of the lot. If you're stopping in Breezewood, which seems to be a popular rest stop, I recommend that it be here. read more

I wish this chain existed in NY and parts of NJ where my family is (literally right over the Nj/PA border is the first one). The Made-To-Order ("MTO") sandwiches and meals are the shiz. And breakfast is all damn day! And you can customize it any way you want by using a touch screen computer. I mean, this is like Jetsons stuff. My only "beef" (and believe me, it's a stretch) is that when I ordered coffee, one of the choices was a flavor that didn't exist for regular coffee, just espresso drinks. They were very busy and I ended up only getting a smoothie after hearing that people were waiting a half hour for a sandwich. The smoothie was good, but not great. This review is based on wait time, food freshness, and location. The mediocre food served luke warm is not worth the wait time! (We did go during lunch time to be fair to the employees who were doing their best) Do not expect a fast food experience at sheetz. My husband and I decided on Sheetz because we were in a hurry, needed gas, and have never tried their food before. We ordered a burger, hot dot, and fries ($12+ drinks, yikes!) . Our quick meal turned into an hour and 15 minutes stop. Unfortunately, we couldn't just cancel our order and opt for one of their convenient grab-and-go options because we had already paid for the meal. Alas, I always try to remain positive so I comforted myself by thinking "at least it will be hot and fresh. They must be making my food fresh". Those hopes were crushed as I bit into that cold chewy shoelace that was my fry. How does it take that long for 3 items only to have all 3 items served barely warm? We ate our food quickly and headed out only to wait another 20+ minutes at the Pennsylvania's worst failure of an intersection ever. There are no left turn lights and when you can turn left you are immediately stopped at yet another light that only fits about 3 small cars per light. Whoever designed that intersection let me help, ADD LEFT ARROWS! All in all, I would suggest using the Shell/Perkins stop if it is on your side or just drive a bit longer and find a different place to eat/fill up. read more

They have tons of food, made to order that you order through a touch screen and then the food is made for you, hot fresh and cheaper the many other fast food chains. The food is good to, its not just some sloppy, gooey microwaved stuff its grilled, and fried, and fresh. I like it. I always stop here when I am on my way back home to Virginia from Dayton. They always have cheaper gas, and enough food to stock me up for the last two or three hours of my journey read more

When we head to or from the DC metro area to visit Sheila F.'s family, we always stop here because we either need gas or food...not to mention that the new addition to our family (Butters the dog!) also needs to stop pretty frequently as well! I like this Sheetz because they actually have an area in which one can eat inside. I absolutely refuse to eat while driving, and I also prefer not to eat in the car if I can help it. I haven't been to any other Sheetz that have an eat-in area, and when I saw that this one had tables and chairs I jumped for joy. Unfortunately, I think this Sheetz benefits a bit from the fact that they have a somewhat captive audience, and they don't try as hard as other Sheetz locations that I've visited. Trying to find napkins on my last visit was like trying to find a needle in a haystack! The food cooking service was a wee bit slow--maybe it was the huge onslaught of holiday traffic or something? However, the deliciousness of their food more than makes up for it--I really love the fact that they are constantly adding new items to the menu as well! All in all, this Sheetz provides a welcome respite from the beautiful, yet somewhat boring, drive between Cleveland and DC. read more
