This location is spotless...like noticeably clean. The bathrooms are always clean (which is HUGE for a gas station), and it's always fully stocked - major points for that alone. They actually have a designated separate area to sit and eat, in addition to a table outside to enjoy whatever you just got before you have to get in your car and go. The staff is also super friendly!! (I honestly don't understand people saying otherwise because every time I stop in here it's the complete opposite of what people are complaining about...and I stop in here a LOT!!) Everyone I've interacted with has been helpful, polite, and actually seems like they enjoy being there - which says a lot these days. I am fully obsessed with their fry bucket. Don't judge me lol. Crispy, hot, and dangerous because you think, "I'll just have a few and save some for later," and suddenly it's gone (no regrets ever). They don't have Cheerwine here, which is a travesty for it being in Elkin but they are open 24/7, had a decent bathroom and serve frozen hot chocolate so I can't complain too much. I was able to get in and out without hassle or incident though they are quite far from the interstate. Overall, it was worth the trip. read more

The sheetz in Elkin, nc, is a good station. Friendly staff, nice place to shop. My problem is there is nearly always some pumps that don't work. I am in sales and stopped for gas here on my way to Sparta and then needed to travel back home to Greensboro. While at the pump, I realized I had left my purse in Greensboro and could not have made it to Sparta. I went in and friends I called offered to give me their credit card # 's, but that wasn't an option. I just want to thank a couple of staff members who actually bought my gas and lunch. They had me in tears with their kindness. I tried to get their address to repay but they said no. With so much cruelty going on right now, they helped me to know what kindness looks like. Least expensive source for gas!! ALWAYS!! A very busy place & reminds me of a bee hive! I'm never disappointed by service - outside of the availability of napkins - !! Really slow service...but the worst part is that it seems to be a hangout for local teens. The parking lot is full after dark with loud kids waving "rebel" flags and disrupting the flow of traffic. Very annoying and prevents legit customers from stopping to get food or gas. read more

Sheetz has really come a long way. It's not that long ago that i would have never gotten food from a gas station, but at Sheetz they have a full, made to order menu that fits any taste. It is actually really convenient then because it's a one-stop shop while traveling. read more

This is the slowest Sheetz I have ever been to and it isn't busy at all. It took 20 mins to get a three cheese sandwich and mozzarella sticks. I would never come here if Wawa were nearby. It's almost worth my money to walk out. I would consider passing this one up if I were you. read more
