the manager called the police and said I wouldn't leave while she knew i had a flat and was waiting for the tow truck. I was traveling and caught a flat tire. pulled over at the sheetz ( which is suppose to be a safe place) only to end up dealing with the local police. the store closed at 11:30 on a Monday even thru it's a 24hr store. the manager said I had to leave I adv I'm NOT from out here only passing thru and caught a flat on the highway, I was waiting on a tow truck. a few moments went by and she came to me again saying she was going to call the police or the companys truck service if I didnt leave. I asked her do I put the car on my back like let's be serious. 5 mins later 2 henderson police officers pull up as if I was ready to rob the place. staying the manager wanted me off the property. I adv unless someone is going to change my tire we ALL will wait on the tow truck and then I will gladly leave. we did just that. I called the store the next day to see what the protocol was and they hung up in my face and did not answer. I reach out to corporate and havent heard anything back. The manager lied to the police stating I WOULD NOT leave instead of telling them WHY I couldn't leave. I absolutely love sheetz., we stopped at this sheetz during our road trip, and the only thing I got was a slushee, but it was delicious. The service was average for a fast food place; quick and straightforward. My only complaint is that there was trash everywhere. All of the trash cans outside were overflowing and there was trash all on the ground everywhere. This was unpleasant. While I did not go into the restroom, my mother did and she said it was gross as well. I would suggest fixing these :) read more

Came here for lunch on a road trip with my husband and kids. Was absolutely disappointed. I've had some good experiences at Sheetz or other gas stations...but this was NOT one of them. One of my kids ordered a burger here. Not only did we wait 20 minutes for our food, but the burger was moldy with the cheese unmelted. If it's going to take that long to prepare food, why not at least melt the cheese...will not be visiting another Sheetz. I'll go to a 7/11 or an established restuarant next time. read more

We stopped here because I wanted to check out the SuperCharger that is in the parking lot. They have 8 spots except one was occupied by an idiot in a non-battery powered vehicle. We ran inside as it was rainy and i was looking for something to snack on or drink. My only complaint is the music was extremely loud, I don't normally notice it I don't know if they had it cranked for a reason (mask some noise) or what, but I'm a fan of music and all that it just was really loud. If I could negative stars I would! Went to the location in Henderson, NC on the night of July 9th. Placed an online order for pick up via drive thru. When we arrived we could see a vehicle waiting in line while driving up. Arrived at the location and went to the speaker for drive thru. We sat for exactly 5 minutes, said hello and were never acknowledged. Unsure if the vehicle in front of us was serviced. Drove up to the window and waited over 10 minutes. Numerous customers walked around, one even walked near the drink machine but we were never acknowledged. After waiting a few minutes without anyone coming over after looking at us I eventually walked in. Walked to the pick up counter, waited again while numerous associates walked around until I asked the young lady applying chapstick in the food area for my order that was complete and sitting on the counter. I will never patronize this location again. Worst service I've ever received anywhere! Beware. read more

Love the Sheetz in Henderson NC. There is a store member there by the name of Brittny Cordero that has been there for at least a year, I'm sure more but she is a delight! She's very friendly and everytime I come to this store she's there with a smile and she's a very hard worker. She remembers us and talks to us like weve been friends for years and I really appreciate that and appreciate her! This gas station Mega Mart is just unbelievable!. We had a hard time even being able to pull up and park. The gas pumps were all full and parking around the building was just crazy. Once inside they offer just about anything and everything one could want on a road trip if they ran out of some things and then some. They had three or four classes where you could order your own the sandwich and it went directly to the crew and they would have it waiting for you. I must tell you this que haces all headlines of three to five people at each one of them. I don't know if this means that the food is that's fabulous or if it means people are intrigued with the kiosk system of ordering sandwiches. Being on a road trip we got a kick out of the name and were amazed at what a bustling little stop this was. After stopping here we talk to a few locals and I guess Sheetz, is quite common in this area and equated to something like a Wawa and our current area. It was really interesting to see how every new establishment adds new and various items to set themselves apart from the crowd. Got it meant they had great gas prices. What's a girl to do? Well when you're out of town and you see a lot of cars there something great usually going on that you should check out. read more

I wish I could give this place no stars. First off the car wash card swipe is broken, so thankfully I had cash on me. Then the machine wouldn't give me change. Okay fine. So I go through the drive through (it was late at night and I had my child with me). With 1 car behind us and three in front of us, IT TOOK THEM OVER AN HOUR to get to us in the line!!!! The customer service was horrendous, I order two separate meals and shakes, the food was not prepared to order and it took over a hour to get my meals and shakes, I had to ask for my food and the employees were really rude, so I asked for a manager thinking that they would be of service, little did I know she was even more of a jerk than her help, we got into a huge argument because the employees tried to say that my food had been done and that they called my order number out loud and I must have not been listening nor paying attention, I stood not even 10ft from the pick-up counter and I know for a fact that they never called out my order number, I stood there for a hour and all the employees and the manager kept looking over at me while laughing, the entire time I was in there they were playing around with one another, singing and joking, just carrying on like they didn't have a job to do, I also talked to several other customers who had been waiting on their orders for almost longer than me and some who had been there just as long as I had, do not even attempt to go here and get good service or good food and shakes, it's not possible, this Sheetz is a joke, don't even waste your time or money, it's overwhelming how this Sheetz can be so bad, I've never seen such ignorance, this Sheetz needs to be closed down or it will have to undergo a serious transformation, Lord help them, I would give them no stars but it's not a option, just know I'll never spend another dollar at this Sheetz location!!! read more

I went in this particular Sheetz to use the restroom and to buy some food. All but one toilet in the women's restroom were dirty. It was apparent that no one had cleaned the restroom in a while. It wasn't until after I finished my business that there was no toilet paper in my stall. I would have been even more pissed if I didn't have tissues in my purse. I reported this to the cashier and he apologized. Then I saw him again when I was purchasing my food. I asked if he had sent anyone to put toilet paper in the restroom. He then yelled at this lady who was making drinks. She didn't even budge. There were a lot of customers. It was early Sunday morning at 12:30 am. This Sheetz obviously has lousy management for they were short staffed. I didn't even see manager there. read more

This Sheetz was working overtime on Christmas Day, and I was not only super impressed by how many people they were taking care of, but also the level of detail that was maintained. Sheetz is only getting better over time in my eyes, with more and more healthy options and higher quality made to order food. Major points for being open on Christmas Day, but also the fact that they had a list of things they were out of, right on each computer screen, which kept me from the frustration of ordering something they didn't have. Yes, the bathrooms were a bit of a disaster, and they were out of napkins, but come on. I got a delicious chicken salad sandwich, my favorite kale chips and a Perrier. Stopped here for gas and food recently. Similar to all the other Sheetz I have been in. Bathrooms were extremely clean especially considering the holidays being busy travel time. I did have a problem with my sandwich but it was quickly remade at no charge. I enjoy Sheetz because they have good quality food, lots of beverage choices and things are well priced. Definitely a great alternative while on a road trip. read more

Hands down the slowest drive thru of any sheetz I've been to. If you are in a hurry and you see more then 1-2 cars keep driving as your wait will be 15 minutes or more. Never had this kind of issue at any other sheetz. read more

The food is good and the gas prices are usually the lowest. They do need to work on what ever that smell is in there. Sheetz is our go-to place while anywhere on the road. This new store is large and clean and even has a drive-through window. The coffees are great and far less than S***bucks prices. The made-to-order foods, like subs, wraps, salads are great and you can get them loaded! If you know what you are getting, you can get a loaded 6" sub like turkey or meatball for $2-2.50...Get the wheat rolls, they are tasty and healthier. With a Sheetz card you can get a 3cent discount on gas every day and every 11th 6" or 12" sub is FREE. Great food, great prices, nice people. Not much better in Henderson read more
