Exit the old dumpy Exxon that was here for years and enter the new corporate gas of Sheetz. It's really night and day when you consider what was here, versus what is here now. This Sheetz is nothing special compared to most of their other stores. Average size with a large area for diesel fueling and truck parking which is an obvious necessity when you consider where they are and what most of the clientele are going to be. Prices are fairly neck and neck with the Sunoco across the road from them with the only advantage to the Sunoco being that if you're looking for some Lot Lizard action...that's probably your place. Overall quick and easy stop right off of 78 that was long overdue to give the travelling public some modern fuel/food options in a very busy area. read more

After moving down to Florida, I so missed this place. On our visit back to Kutztown to see friends we got uber to deliver late night three times! Food was just as good as I remembered. read more

Very good experience here. We stopped for gas and hoped that we might also get some food. Was delighted to see that they had hoagie sandwiches as part of their food offering. Even more delighted to discover all the options you could select. You can have it with all the usual dressings, lettuce, tomato, onion, etc. But they had more than usual, including banana peppers, jalapeño peppers, cucumber, and, there was an entire screen for sauces. If you are a particular eater, and know exactly what you like, this is the place for you! All of this was accomplished by having a kiosk which takes the pressure off of you when you're trying to order and make your mind up :-). We also tried to grab and go chicken pieces which, unfortunately, we're not very good. They were dry, and tasted like they had been there for a while. On the positive side, their grab and go premade soft pretzels were excellent. Another thing that really impressed me was the courtesy of the people over in the food area. I was looking for extra mustard, and asked the young man cleaning off the counter --he walked me right over to where it was instead of pointing vaguely as they often do. My wife and I who's handicapped, just placed an order via Uber eats and the driver, Irene walked in to pick up our order which was basically lunch for my wife and I and our 2 little girls and the order was taken by a customer posing as a driver. I was told by an associate at this sheetz location (who will remain nameless) that the orders taken and placed for drivers to retrieve is never monitored or confirmed. So basically you or anyone else can just walk up and grab food and walk out. The Uber driver, trying to make a living is politely asking the store manager, THOMAS MEARS if he knew where the food was and MR MEARS raised his voice, to a WOMEN, spoke extremely sarcastic and refused to remake the order even tho it was completely The fault of SHEETZ. (We know this because she was on the phone with us as she was talking with MR MEARS) Now we have no food, the driver is out of a tip and pay she would receive for the pickup and the manager told his employee that he was too busy to accept my call when he was heard arguing with our Uber driver. 2 hours later The manger calls me. He wouldn't allow me to finish a sentence without making excuses. He raised his voice at me saying he's gotta go, and is giving me "ONE MINUTE TO PLEAD MY CASE" Then I proceed to tell him That he should lower his tone, reminded him that he shouldn't speak to people that way, I wasn't his employee and he HANGS UP!! THOMAS MEARS SHOULD BE FIRED. This is in no way, shape or form how a business should be run and in no way shape or form how you speak to a women or treat a customer. Days later I spoke with the DISTRICT MANAGER whom was a gentleman, and if he didn't call, I would have NEVER given my business to Sheetz again!! read more

Nice clean facility. Thank you for the truck parking! The five stars here would be the marketing team that put together the order boards for the food!!!! It looks like you're really gonna eat well. Only one star for the actual food though. Kinda feel sick from the fryer oil heavy in the tater tot's and jalapeños poppers. The burritos looks sooooo amazing on the order board, but we're a wasted sin. I would encourage Sheetz to put some more effort into better quality food. It's at the bottom of the chart as compared to other gas station food. If the food were better it would be the nicest gas / station convenience store going. read more

3 stars for the semi parking lot. But only 3, because I had to drive down a No Truck road to get there, which makes my truck GPS cry and swear at me. Parking lot layout is.... weird. Just hard to describe. I was eventually able to back for half a mile into an excellent parking spot, yay me! I have no idea how expert truck drivers access those spots after hours. Blindside? Uh yeah. No thanks!! 'Custom made food' or whatever they call it is NOT fast. OK. I get that. It's "custom" lol. But it's a truck stop. Waiting 20 min for a salad is obscene, we gotta roll!! They have a beer cave, thats shut down and blocked off.. maybe they sold to a minor, I have no idea. No explanations other than a cryptic sign informing me that "due to an unfortunate incident, we can not sell beer any more." My curiosity is killing me!!! Did someone die?? Ugh! I hate suspense! But a great stop in this part of the limited semi parking world. read more

So far I have waited 25 minutes for two microwave burritos and an order of tater tots. The seasons move faster than these people.

I was really excited for the place to open, but now I realize the only thing It has going for them is the friendly staff. The coffee counter is always interesting trying to find a clean spot to put your cup and they are always out of milk and half and half. There is only one to three breakfast sandwiches at 7:30 am. I realize people are understaffed, but it's a reason to be a team and help each other out to fulfill simple tasks. Kudos to the happy faces though read more
