I tried to buy a bike there. Like others have said they aren't too willing to sell bikes. I hung around the machine I was interested in for at least 20 min before anyone even looked at me. I had texted a salesman a couple times in the previous week and told him I was coming to look at it. Long story short, the bike needed work, tires, tag mount, and I was told he couldn't do anything until that was done. I wasted over 2 hours, driving, an hour there, and was ready to buy it outright on the spot. All in all it was a nice bike he had on consignment so I told him ok, let me know when it's ready and I'll be back. Week goes by nothing. So I text him and say, hey is the bike ready? He says they got approval from the owner and repairs should be done soon. Another almost week goes by, nothing. I drove 4.5 hours round trip to another dealership. I walked in, talked with the salesman (he knew I was coming), filled out paperwork, paid cash, and was on my way. As of this review that 2024 KTM Enduro R is still for sale there and I haven't heard a thing. read more

I had a terrible experience there today. I went up to drive a specific used $6000 bike. Told Cordell I was willing to put a deposit down. The kid said no need. I was going to drive my Harley up there on Tuesday and drop it off for repair and take that bike home. And then he proceeded to send me these texts. I couldn't respond because I was in Saint peters village with no cell service for two hours. He specifically told me that he wouldn't sell the bike from out from under me and that he would hold it until Tuesday. And he didn't! read more

Talked to a sales guy about buying a zx6r. Told him how much I was gonna put down. He said okay so I drove an hour and a half to be told that I needed an extra 3 grand to put down. I guess he couldn't tell me that before I drove an hour there? Ended up buying the bike from a diff place. Was looking at jackets and helmets for a solid 30 mins, no one asked me if I needed help or my size. Ended up buying everything from another dealer. Today was the fifth time I went to Martin's moto with the intent of buying a bike and for the fifth time I was ignored for more then 30 minutes. Previous times when finally helped was told that the bike I wanted hadn't been serviced yet. That it was just received and they would call me when it was ready, I never received a call. When I called they said the bike was sold. Another time was told they had to check on the availability of a unit, once again never received a call. Another time after waiting for forty minutes I just walked out. And then there was the time when the salesman told me he would be with me in a minute. After watching him walk around with a cup of coffee in his hand for thirty minutes and I tried to wave him over several times, made eye contact with him and he still just walked by and never came back so again I left. Then today after being ignored again for thirty minutes was told I couldn't hear the bike that it was going out for a test ride. This place has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more

After a surprise fire destroyed my old bike, I found myself at Martin Moto in search of a replacement. I chose to go to Martin because they were the only dealership in the area that had all the bikes I was interested in in-stock so I could sit on them in person. They also have a huge selection of pre-owned bikes as well. When I arrived at the dealership, I was not approached by anyone. As someone who works at a car dealership, I was put off by this a bit since it seemed like nobody wanted my business. However as a typical shopper, you'll probably appreciate the freedom to look around. After sitting on all three bikes I was interested in (as well as a few others that caught my eye), I decided to seek out a salesperson. I met with Bill Lindsey. He went over some of the differences in the bikes and was very low pressure. We did some preliminary pricing but I wasn't ready to pull the trigger since I was waiting for insurance money. The next day I called to put a REFUNDABLE deposit on the bike I chose so it would be there when the insurance panned out. Fast forward a week and I was getting impatient and decided to just buy the bike and use the insurance to pay down the loan later. I called and spoke with Bill and picked the bike up about an hour later. Overall it was a great experience. Plus, they would have delivered the bike free of charge if I wanted. I would recommend them because of their great selection and people. read more

What I like about Martin Motors is that, most of the time, the service is friendly and the work is very good. Only one time (in 2009 maybe) some service guy did a TERRIBLE job on my $500 scheduled service on the R1. That led to a lost slip-on and, as far as I am concerned, a faulty low-gas indicator. The guy was shortly FIRED and Martins tried to fix my bike. I have been going here since 2003 and I am not looking for another place at this point. Recommended. read more

Was in contact with the dealership for about a week. I initially called and offered $7500 on a brand new motorcycle. The dealership calls back and we negotiate a deal for $7700 cash out the door. The morning of I call the dealership to confirm the bike is still there and that the $7700 deal was still on the table. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Mike who told me that they were open until 6 and that he was looking forward to seeing me. A few hours later I arrived to dealership at 5:10pm. Browsed the showroom for abour 20 minutes then decided I wanted to buy the motorcycle on one condition I needed to see the bike start and run. We're talking about a brand new bike on the showroom floor. They refuse to start the bike for me. I ask to start the bike where it stands on the floor it'll only take 60 seconds. They refused to push it to the service department and start the bike for me there. They refused to allow me to start the bike. I don't know if there was something wrong with the machine or if they didn't want to sell a motorcycle to a black man? Looking back I believe one gentleman at the front desk was jealous a person that wasn't the same color as he was could afford to walk into the dealership and buy a motorcycle with cash. If you're of color and believe you deserve decent fair customer service this isn't the place to bring your business. I don't think requesting to hear a brand new machine run before handing over $7700 dollars in cash is an unreasonable request. For "whatever colored" reason it didn't feel like they wanted colored business. read more

My experience with Martin Moto was stellar. I was in the market for a new Street Triple. I chatted with Cordell on the phone, agreed on a price and picked up my bike all within 24 hours. They were very professional and a pleasure to deal with. The process at the dealership was painless. Cordell had my bike prepped and the paperwork barely took any time. I'd give it more if they could just prioritize the order of fixing the bikes. Its supposed to be first come first serve. Last time I was there I was the 3rd guy checked in yet I was about the 8th bike out. Granted Mine had a little more work that had to be done BUT, I personally saw my bike just sitting on the rack (it was draining oil I guess) for an hour while they were working on other bikes so point being, my bike could have and should have been done in 2 hours, not almost 4. On another occasion it took an hour and 45 minutes to change the oil. I've ever only changed the oil one time by myself, and it only took 40 minutes from start to finish so I'm not really not sure how it took a trained tech that long. I guess he was severely hung over. Bottom line; If you don't want to drop off and pick up later, this would suffice but be advised, these guys don't seem to care about taking there sweet time getting your bike done. Seems pretty obvious they get paid by the hour and not the job. read more

It's been 33 years since I rode a motorcycle. I have been researching bikes over the past 4 years since I was contemplating going back into riding. I finally decided on a Triumph and probably a used Street Cup which had classic looks with a tilt towards the cafe style but not too radical. So I drove 87 miles to Martin Moto because they had the color and the price I was looking for. My sales representative was Bill Lindsey and he spent time with me going over the bike and made me feel comfortable with their servicing in regards to used bikes. I never felt rushed and he never showed any lack of interest with my concerns. More importantly he wasn't attached to his cell phone taking calls or texting while he was with me. I finally put a deposit on the bike and was advised by Bill that the bike would be gone over mechanically ,detailed and made as perfect as a 4 year old bike could be. The bike was delivered by their driver Jeff who could not have been nicer or more polite. He was careful unloading the bike and took the time to start it and make sure the paperwork was in order. The bike was detailed perfectly and you could hardly tell it from a brand new machine. My entire experience with Martin Moto was perfect for me .The free delivery service also is an invaluable asset because it makes the purchase hassle free. I was told that my bike failed it's annual inspection due to a non-functioning tail light and an alleged oil leak dripping on the rear brake pads. My bike is equipped with a 3-way switch that controls the lights and kills the engine. In position 1, it will not allow the bike to start. In position 2, only the headlight works. In position 3, all of the lights work, including the tail light. As far as the engine leaking oil onto the brake pads, that is a load of crap. I cleaned off the grease/oil from the engine, had it looked at by several people and none of them could find a leak. This is what happens when you make assumptions without investigating the facts. I took my bike elsewhere and it passed with flying colors. read more

Sales guys are good at their job, informative and knowledgeable about the bikes. Service on the other hand is your typical "stealership" girlfriend took her bike there and they failed its annual inspection even though it met all the state requirements. They gave her a list of things that needed to be corrected and they were all bs. Shame in these guys for name they give to dealers. Parts guys are extremely knowledgeable and will have parts quick. Bottom line is buy from these guys but do your service yourself or you won't be able to afford a motorcycle read more

I've been a customer of theirs for a long time, ever since they had their old place of business on RT 100 in Pottstown. Bought several four wheelers from them since. Haven't bought any bikes or atvs from them in awhile however was planning on getting a bike from them recently. Decided to go elsewhere because they wouldn't come close to the other dealers in the area. As for their sales guys, they have always seemed very knowledgeable and eager to sell; however, you most likely will be able to get a better deal elsewhere. As far as their parts guys, they are also knowledgeable and have a lot of maintenance items available for average prices. Service.... Terrible. The reason I gave them 3 stars. I've taken my bike their for service, never again. Way too expensive. Messed up a jet kit; however, made it right by fixing it (Thank you). They (way) overpriced me to install a bore kit, attempting to take advantage of me or overpricing it just to turn me away. I will never take my bike there again. read more

Went today to buy my first bike. After being set on a 2021 Benelli from Scott's motorsports. I decided hey why don't I give martins a look. Their closer to where I live anyway. So to begin with a female employee was ignorant to me when I had a question and noticed she was the only person at the time that was either not on the phone or helping someone. So I politely said excuse me can someone help me there's one bike with no tag and one that says see associate. I'm curious on how much they cost. Well she got rude and just focused on the one question and said. Im sure the tag just fell off it happens all the time. And told me to talk to another associate remind you the associate she pointed too was on the phone currently helping someone else. So I stand there while she wasn't busy. While I waited for the gentleman to get off the phone with his customer. When he did I expressed my concern to him about the thing she said was "probably" on the floor and he goes oh that's a new bike we just put together let me get a tag and pricing for you. I was like awesome thankyou so much and explained what the lady before him had said. All was well I picked out a 2020 triumph with him then left utterly confused when I sat for a hour with no update. Got there around 10 am to look for a bike and left at 1:10 with no further updates when I had actually picked one. As I left the guy then at that point said he could see if they could speed it up because I couldn't cancel it now because they were running it through the system or something. And that they would give me a call for something but when I asked can I go somewhere else or will it show pending on my credit he said it would. So now I'm waiting for them to call me just to beable to go look somewhere else. Talk about confusing customer service for a first time purchaser. read more

I brought them a used Yamaha R1 that I was planning on purchasing and I wanted them to look it over. They did not know me as a customer and I did not know them as a service department. They looked my bike over and provided honest recommendations that made me feel like they had my safety in mind. I took my 81 Honda there last summer to have the carbs rebuilt. They charged me about $950. They gave me my bike back with a dead battery. I told the service counter guy the battery has been fine all summer. I bought the battery there a year before but he just kept trying to convince me it was my fault and I stored it wrong. I said I didn't have to push start it to get here and I shouldn't have to push it to leave. Someone left the key on I guess. He finally gave me a new battery after he could tell I wasn't buying his b.s. So next summer I start riding it and one of the carbs is leaking bad. I called them and they said we don't work on old bikes anymore. Seriously, the service writer actually said that. I said but you already worked on it less than a year ago. So he reluctantly agrees to take a look. I bring it in and about a week later he tells me it's leaking from an o ring between two of the carbs and he can't find parts for it. I said you didn't replace them when you rebuilt the carbs? He said they don't take them apart. There's nothing he can do. Now I told him I paid almost a thousand dollars and a rebuild kit is 15 bucks on eBay. Nothing he can do? So this week I look at it myself. First when you rev the engine the whole bank of carbs move because they didn't tighten any of the 8 screws in the rubber hoses that hold the carbs to the engine. Literally completely loose .So I take out the carbs and one of the float bowl screws are lose. The one that was leaking. I open it up and the gasket is crooked and pinched making it leak badly. So for 15 dollars I ordered a new gasket. I got nothing but excuses and lied to at Martins and ended up having to do my own repairs. I wouldn't let them change the oil in my mower . read more

Not the place to take a Kawasaki Mule- I took mine in for the 250 hr service. When I went to pick it up the guy told me "it's idling low and running rich". For $560 dollars I felt they could have adjusted the idle and carb. It's part of the suggested 250 hrs service. Also -the converter cover was cracked. Didn't ask for it to be repaired. When I went to pickup the mule, they gave me the cover and a bag of bolts- Had to re-assemble it when I got home. I thought they might power wash it before they worked on it- standard procedure for servicing a machine( wasn't very dirty to begin with). Well, they didn't. Have to admit, I felt ripped off by the experience. Since the service I've bought the manual and doing the repairs myself. not the place to service a mule!!! read more

Took my 05 raptor 350 there for a tune up and oil change. Dropped off in june, wasn't done until september. Initially ran hot and didnt idle when warm. Dug into the engine to find a burnt valve. Instead of just charging another 20 minuets or whatever to change the piston and rings they wanted to double charge me. so just new valves on used internals, now it smokes whereas it didnt before. Completely unsatisfied, not worth what i payed for, terrible communication and absurd pricing. Would NOT recommend sending anything here for mechanical work unless you want to be positioned in a corner where you either pay out the nose, or sacrifice the quality of a job you receive read more

Customer service is lacking. Wanted to buy my father a bike for Christmas 2012. Salesman was extremely nice and knowledgeable until we sat down to discuss numbers. I was quoted about 1000 dollars more than other dealerships. And when I brought other quotes to prove my point, he started bad mouthing other dealerships about how they are a "mass moving facility, and they wont remember my name" Frankly I don't need a dealership to remember my name, I need them to give me a good deal and keep me safe on the road when I get my bike serviced there. When told that his numbers were not a deal, his sales pitch turned to "we have ice cream in the lounge when you come in for service, and we are delivering it before Christmas for you." The place I did buy it from gave me a deal well below his quote, and delivered it before Christmas from twice as far away. Not only did they lose a sale they lost all of my business. read more
