Cordell is a liar and dishonest
Steve B.

I had a terrible experience there today. I went up to drive a specific used $6000 bike. Told Cordell I was willing to put a deposit down. The kid said no need. I was going to drive my Harley up there on Tuesday and drop it off for repair and take that bike home. And then he proceeded to send me these texts. I couldn't respond because I was in Saint peters village with no cell service for two hours. He specifically told me that he wouldn't sell the bike from out from under me and that he would hold it until Tuesday. And he didn't!

Low customer engagement in this place. Service rep seemed annoyed when I asked about bringing my bike in to get work done. I won't be back.

My sales representative was Bill Lindsey and he spent time with me going over the bike and made me feel comfortable with their servicing in regards to used bikes.

Straight forward and provides customers with everything they need to get more information on their inventory. What comes as a red flag is their reaction when I decided to not go through with the purchase of a bike. At the end of the day, It was more out of budget than I wanted and I wanted to avoid making an emotional purchase for what was indeed a pristine vehicle (although sight unseen). I asked if I could have my deposit back. John was busy with a customer, however another employee started to defend how they should actually keep my deposit of $500, a deposit where I was NOT told was not refundable, had NOT signed any paperwork, nor even gave a word of commitment that I would be actually making a purchase of the vehicle. I understand the work to make a sale, but thinking about it, should this not be standard work to make a sale? It is especially not $500 dollars worth of labor, in the words of the employee that berated me for backing out and walking away from the expensive bike. He claimed that they spent time taking the bike off of listing (which I confirmed, day of, that they did not), taking pictures and sending me videos (which is still not $500 worth of labor). He basically used some backwards Mob method of bullying me, saying that "I should take this as a lesson" and proceeded to act like they were entitled to my $500. This really made me uncomfortable, and although I can very much call a chargeback on them, I just want to warn everyone of this dealership and business. They make assumptions about you for being hesitant on making a purchase, like as if you have no money... what a sad way to treat people. People, stay away from this store. Sure they have nice bikes from time to time, but they should not be treating people this way.

He then said we do not have any in stock I'll get back to you to let u know when they'll be in. 5 hours later I call and get a young lady in sales.. she says "yes, we have those in stock", but it needs to be assembled. I told her the OTD price another dealer provided me hoping they would match it because Blackman's is more local to me. She said we can't get within $5k of that price. I have a new 2026 X2 1000 in my garage from a dealer interested in selling inventory for the price I told her.

Mind blowing how that is a policy at a motorcycle shop. Regardless, I was looking at a preowned motorcycle that I was told could be tuned but they aren't sure. I wonder if they allow the Harleys and Indians that are over 1000cc to be test driven. I am 36 years old, it's not like I was an 18 year old just looking to take a big motorcycle for a spin. I've been a licensed rider for 16 years and have owned a wide variety of motorcycles. I can't recommend them since you won't even be able to test the bike out before you buy it. Blackman prices are good but to be a motorcycle dealer that doesn't offer test drives seems crazy to me, especially if it is a preowned motorcycle.
