I have not visited a Sheetz gas station in a decade. I didn't bother filling up my gas tank and instead used the restroom, used the online screen to order a sandwich and drink, pay for this, and bring my snack to the car to enjoy this freshly made meal. The convenience store area is very clean, and the staff are efficient with all screen orders constantly coming in from people walking in to get their food. I was pleased with my experience here which is a few miles outside of Winston-Salem. read more

Everything. I placed my order for food at 9pm. I was informed after arriving to the store it would be an hour wait for my food, they would not allow me to cancel it. I got back in line at 10pm for them to tell me it would be another 20 minutes before my food was done. I get back in line again and it's now past 11pm. I KNOW my food has been sitting on the counter for atleast 40 minutes and they will not make anyone move out of line so they can hand out orders that are ready after making me pull out of line twice. My food is guaranteed to be ice cold when I finally reach the window and I know they will not remake it as I've had this problem at this same sheetz before. I tried to be lenient because it's Christmas, but after losing over 2 hours of my time waiting on an order I know will be cold and soggy, I will NEVER RETURN to this sheetz again and I hope nobody else does either read more

The Made-to-Go food is an awesome option in the area. Wide selection, freshly made. There is even a drive-thru window. This was a blessing for those stopping for gas and even more so when charging your Tesla on a road trip. Clean bathrooms and good service make this a must stop when passing through. read more

I come here often enough to fill up, since I work nearby, so I feel compelled to leave a review. For a gas station, it's decent. Lots of pumps so you won't typically have to wait, the interior store is clean looking with lots of snacks and a kiosk for ordering "fresh" food. I haven't sunk low enough yet in life to order the cooked food options from here, but I'm sure I'll descend to that level soon enough! They also have a drive-thru area and patio tables if you love the smell of gasoline with your food. Lexington has better lunch options than this, but I guess try it sometime if you really want to feel awful for the rest of your work day. I do like the walk in fridge area storing iced cold beer options. I find that to be an impressive offering for a gas station convenience store. Back outside, they also have a free air pump for your tires that rarely works properly. Beyond all that, they've recently installed a bunch of Tesla superchargers at this location. I find this fascinating because my experience in Lexington has not been one that strikes me as forward thinking, but it's nice to see things slowly heading in that direction. If nothing else, it's a smart move to attract Tesla owners to stop in for a half hour to charge and buy a few mistakes inside! read more

This was a first time visiting this Sheetz. Very friendly staff that worked quickly to ensure the best customer service. The cashier was very pleasant, and was moving at a very efficient pace. The line was long when I got in it, but she moved so swiftly that I wasn't in a line very long! The gas was also a good price, at $2.23/gal, & diesel for $2.29/gal. I ordered a MTO breakfast sandwich, which was created and ready to go promptly. I also bought some drinks and candy for a road trip. The thing I love about Sheetz is that they always have specials on various products. This time was no different and I was able to get two Arizona teas for $3. Very happy with my trip & look forward to stopping in again soon. read more

This is a smaller store compared to some, but does have a nice seating area inside and a drive-thru. Bathrooms are well maintained. Food is prepared promptly. All I wanted was coffee. The medium was out and the breakfast coffee was out. There's also a sign that says, "If the light is blinking let an associate know and you'll get a free fresh cup of coffee." I called to the associate who was behind the counter in the cafe, who ignored me. I looked for another associate, found two more behind the counter, and called to them. They ignored me as well. There were a total of three associates behind the cafe counter. I walked over to the cash registers where an associate told me that she will be with me in a moment. I stood with my empty cup waiting for assistance. She proceeds to begin checking the lottery tickets and other random things behind the counter. I guess lottery tickets are more important than customers. I set the cup down on the counter and walked out. The only way I'll stop at this Sheetz again is if I'm getting gas because it's always lower than surrounding stations. Otherwise, I'd advise going to the one in Thomasville. read more
