I loved and appreciated the ease of selecting my coffee to be ground and brewed all from a few steps. The touchscreen screens were awesome! The coffee had a nice flavor! Really enjoyed my cup of Joe! I didn't get to look around much inside but I did notice their made to order slogan for their food. This is great for a convenience store. Hate I didn't have time to order any food during the time of my visit. The staff was nice. I am pretty sure that I will gas up here , get more coffee before hitting the road. Inside, a large selection of snacks and drinks. Clean and welcoming. Bathrooms that are also clean. As for the gas, it's clear that Sheetz is working hard to remain competitive. They put a nice crisp on their burgers and I love how simple they make them (everything on it includes lettuce, tomato, mayo. I always add grilled onions too.) You can get a combo with a burger, fries and a drink for under $10. We found this place through word of mouth and yes it is in the "hood" inside a small convenient store but well worth it. Tried the steak and cheese for the first time yesterday and OMG best sub in Lynchburg. I've tried the most popular sub shops that people claim to be good but this one was the only one that didn't disappoint. LOTS of meat and everything was evenly distributed. Not super greasy and seasoned very well. Wish I would've gotten a 12in instead of a 6in! They have lots of food options, I see a lot of people getting the fried fish platter but I'm not a fan of fried fish. Don't go off how the spot looks! The food is delicious!! She gives me my receipt and I stand there for a second to see if she will say thank u....nope! So I say thank you and she replies with an "mmm hmmm". I will not go back in that store ever again. I waited Friday the 27 th of December for 1/2 hour in the drive thru with my engine running because…read morethe employee working the window let five cars pull up instead of asking the customer to come inside or pull around behind the last car at the window. 1/2 hour... and I didn't want to appear disrespectful by blowing the horn but I couldn't take it any longer so I did blow my horn. And that did get a reaction from the driver and the store employee. But it took another 10-15 minutes. When it was finally my turn I had to ask about the wait. I was told a bunch of claptrap about a problem the pharmacist needed to fix. For almost 40 minutes. I felt compelled to mention to the store employee that the intended purpose of the drive thru was for quick pickups not computer searches or waiting for refills and such. Customers with circumstances should be asked to come inside. 1/2hr to 40 minutes...I'm still pissed. My nearby CVS don't play these games. My time is important just like the pharmacist and the cars behind me. To the head honchos I think some discussion and a change in operating conditions would be helpful. 40 minutes in any drive thru is unforgivable. This has to get better.
