She said all the pumps' card readers were down . . . again. I said I needed to fill my tank and offered to leave my car keys or a cash deposit. She said "No. You've got to leave your credit card." After just witnessing the attempt to cash in a bogus lottery ticket at this store, I wasn't about to leave my credit card for 5 or 10 minutes while I filled up my gas tank. I declined to leave my card and said I'd go to the other BFS out on Bowers Lane. The clerk said "Bye!" and waved me out the door with a single-finger salute.
