They seemed to be excited that a long vacant stretch of land on Scalp Ave was finally going to be useful. They wanted more variety. However, I think that on this gas station saturated strip of road, it might not have been the correct thing to place here. I want to stress here that this is just my opinion, which I am entitled to, but I think that with the other gas stations, and setup concept, it wasn't needed. See, if you are from Pennsylvania, you already know about the gas station wars going on. Especially with the ones that have made to order food and most times give off that feel of fast food restaurant. The two most notable ones in Pennsylvania are Sheetz and Wawa. Sheetz on the west side of the state and Wawa on the east side of the state. But then comes stumbling in, from the center of the state, Rutter's. Trying to fit in and cater more towards truckers than the everyday traveler. Gas prices, I don't think that I can say much about them. When this first opened, there was a price war. Now, they have levelled out and are on par with the rest of the area. There menu is a bit different than their competitors. I will give them this, since this is the newest gas station they didn't hold back. The lot is large which lends to ample pumps and parking. Inside is large as well, and bright. Coolers stocked with every drink possible. Beer and wine is available for purchase. Food ready to order from the touchscreen. An interesting thing about this place is there is a 21+ area. Skills area where you can gamble a little and also imbibe. Alcoholic drinks are available. Which brings me to this point, but who decides to have a drink at a gas station? Do you not know that police regularly show up at them and if you intend to drive after imbibing you are setting yourself up. As for the food, well...it tasted as good as it was prepared. See, here, they don't have deep fryers, they have these huge air fryers, or at least I think that is what they are. Once your food goes through this contraption it drops out into a pan and you just wait for them to slowly go over and package it up. I actually watched my food be put in, drop out, sit there, get packaged, and sit there some more. Multiple people who ordered after me got their food before me. I had ordered their appetizer sampler thing. I went with onion rings, tater tots, and fried pickles. My brother got a similar set up, except his fried pickles came out perfectly fine, mine came out mangled beyond belief. With the amount of time it sat before being put into my hands a majority of the food was cold. Or was it even prepared correctly if you drop everything in the same contraption with hopes it is going to come out properly cooked. The next day, the food came out a bit quicker than it went in...multiple times. Was it the fried pickles? Was it the cold tater tots? Was it the onion rings? Who knows for sure. I should have known better than to get food from a place that once offered scallops on their menu.

I find it interesting that when Sheetz wants to grow, they just move everything. That's the story…read morewith this one, instead of attempting a remodel at the one that is literally a half block from here, they just bought some new land and built a brand new one. Unlike with other companies, this isn't such a bad thing. Old Sheetz stores don't sit empty for too long, they are reused quite regularly. That aside, I believe that there may be more pumps at this location, and they are easier to access. The new location is roomier and no need to worry about how long it may take to get fuel, order a MTO, and buy some refreshments. This one is set up like a majority of the new stores they have rolled out. Refreshment coolers, coffee station, soda den (that desperately needs to be a beer cave (come on Pennsylvania, step into the 21st century already)). But the most baffling thing about this place is the registers. It is true that they are experimenting with self checkouts here, but that's when it gets a little wonky. I went and grabbed a few things and stood in line on purpose. I did not, or maybe could not, use the self checkouts due to the fact that I needed cigarettes. As with any other place that sells cigarettes, these are located behind the register; thus the reason why I was standing in line. In walks super employee instructing everyone that is in line to use the self checkouts. Wouldn't you think that if us people in line wanted to use those registers we already would have. So, begrudgingly the line starts shifting to the self checkouts. This is the part I did not like, don't insult me. I know how to use the register by myself. Not only did I survive the retail world for five years, I'm not an idiot. And the most irritating part was when I said I needed the cigarettes I was standing in line for. Not only was I not allowed to handle them, super employee had to scan them himself. Remember why I was standing in the line?

Go Moore Store is basically a replacement for the once nearby Davidsville Fuel. And I have to say…read morethat it is a great upgrade from what was offered before. The building offers more space for what was all being offered at the original location. I applaud them for doing this as it is a much better location that allows for everything they have to offer. This is located right off Route 219, when going north and you exit at Davidsville you are basically right in front of this after you exit. Great location for all travelers. They offer fuel for everyday vehicles and fuel for the many trucks that pass through the area. Inside is a mix or ideas that all somehow work together. The store itself offers many different services. There is fresh made food and deli items available at the counter. There is also ready made food in coolers to grab to ebb your hunger. The offer an array of convenience items to grab and go. Also offered is a limited variety of groceries. You can make this a one stop shop if you want. Grab your milk, eggs, bread, frozen items, seasonings, meats, snacks, condiments, etc. They also offer beer, so if that is your need, you can get it here. They offer PA Skill Games if you want a distraction. There is a small dine in area if you want to eat while here. In all honesty, this was greatly needed in this area. It offers something that you would have to travel a ways to get. There is no real grocery store in the area and this fills that void a bit. On that honesty kick here, their food, being made fresh, is really good. Great place to grab your lunch for your workday or a quick dinner at home.
