Each custom tea blend has a jar in front of it with the tea so that you can smell before you buy. Everything tea is there - infusers, tea bags, teapots, tea cozies, mugs, tumblers, and even honey! We got 3 loose leaf teas that we love. There are so many awesome things there - custom teas, spices, tea accessories! Plus, the plants there (not for sale) are incredible - beautiful, vibrant, and having cute plant babies! The store also helps to support a local animal shelter. Everything there was incredible. YASSSSS!! Finally made it here last weekend. Entering the shop we were greeted warmly by Tina. I explained to her that this was my first time and she was kind enough to escort me around the store showing me all the great items they carry. Thank you Tina for your exceptional customer service. I was taken in by all of the choices in loose leaf tea. I saw green teas, black teas, rooibos teas, oolong teas, chai teas, herbal teas and so much more. I was drawn to the peach apricot black tea, and the jasmine pearls. Tina showed me their version of an evening tea called Peaceful Sundown. She explained to me that it is a wonderful way to end the day with this tea plus it's a best seller so I grabbed a bag of it. Next I moved onto the spices. I wasn't really sure what I was in the mood for so I purchased the taco spices and received a free spice that was featured called Dusty Trails Steak seasoning. What I love about their spices and rubs is that there are no chemical additives. Only good stuff! Truly a one stop shop for your cooking and BBQ needs. They sell all kinds of peppers and salts, dips and salsa mixes, Chile peppers, blends, rubs, olive oil, balsamic vinegars, and even salad dressings. What I really loved is they have recipe cards along with the rubs and spices. This is a great way to market your products. Also, you can smell before you buy all the teas, spices, rubs, oils, and vinegars. In addition, you can find teapots, tea cups, and other accessories along with some cute gift ideas. This is a locally owned and operated spice & tea business. When you walk in the scents will waft up your nose and it will be overwhelming! If you can't find a spice in a regular store, like star anise or saffron, you will find it here! They also sell many gift items from mugs, tea cups, coozies, tea accessories, herb infused olive oil, and local honey. My dad is the main chef in my immediate family and he loves trying out new spices in his recipes. Then I found Sheffield Spice & Tea Co. and I decided to begin my holiday shopping here. I'm not saying here that he cooks food for me, because I can cook quite well myself! This family-owned business can be found next to PetSmart on Eastern before you reach Silverado Ranch. There were so many selections to choose from, I just wanted to select them all! Alongside all their spices, they also sell tea sets, honey sets, numerous decorations, and even birdhouses. The gentleman that greeted me at the door explained what kind of spices and teas they had available and that I was welcome to smell test them and sample them. I got my dad the following spices - British Baking Mix Spice (as a nod to his love for British TV shows), Hungarian Paprika (we went to Hungary over the summer and I wanted to buy this because I believe he ran out of paprika), Espresso Rub (he loves coffee), and Bay Leaf Ground. These are some spices that I'm absolutely sure that he'll try. To make things more convenient, I also got him a little spice funnel. I wanted to get other family members something too, so I bought some honey and a honey jar/dipper set for my aunt and I bought a hummingbird ornament and a new birdhouse for my mom. My aunt likes to add honey to her coffee (don't ask why lol) and my mom likes to birdwatch, so I thought these were the perfect gifts for them. When I got to checkout, the cashier provided one free sample of one of their sugars, spices, or anything nice to take back with me. I selected their salted caramel sugar sample which also came with a free recipe, because I thought this looked yummy! Before leaving, she also provided me with another free recipe for the British Baking Mix Spice that I bought, which was very convenient. Where to begin... first of all... The selection of teas, spices, dry herbs, vinaigrettes in this shop cannot be beat. If you're a person on a vegetarian diet, there are awesome small batch seasonings that will mimic the flavors found in meat dishes. If you're a meat eater, they have delicious dry rubs as well. I spent way too much money here. New to the LV area, so it's taken me a while to check this place out, but it's been on my list for a minute. I tend to be an avid Penzy's shopper and golly compared to that, Sheffield definitely lives up to expectations!! There is a HUGE assortment of teas, spices, spice mixes, mugs, serving supplies, oils, and more. As the baker in the household, I'm excited to try their range of flavored sugars (wish they did rose sugar... hint hint ). They also have seasonings I've never seen before (even at Penzy's!) like ramen seasoning and powdered soy sauce! I ended up picking out a couple decorative mugs, a selection of black and green teas (SUPER excited about the rose tea and the decaf earl grey!), and some spice blends. 10/10 will be back probably sooner than I should. read more

In looking for fresh tea, I found so much more! Not only do they have loose/fresh tea, they have spices, herbs and oils as well. Oh wait and they have recipe cards to go with many of their spices and herbs. You can make dips, deserts and meals-now that is an unexpected added bonus. Now it's always great to find a good spice and/or mix or spices but what to do with them can be a bit experimental but they have removed that aspect (which is very nice). The customer service is top rated, purchased a teapot; when we were home I discovered there was no basket. Called the store and they said come back-no problem. Holy disappointment. I was the only customer at this time and as I walked in, the older lady, (maybe owners the wife?) promptly asked what I was looking for. So I asked a general question, (and I know anything about teas or their effects on health) question about what was good or beneficial to a stroke victim. She answered with a pompous attitude, "we do not diagnose or prescribe anything". Alright, fair enough, so I proceeded to rephrase my question in a form that wasn't from a Medical standpoint. She continued to insist that they weren't to prescribe anything. I let her know that I wasn't asking for diagnoses or prescriptions, just simply what was conducive to overall good health. SHE CONTINUES TO BE COMBATIVE and repeats herself. She sensed my frustration and just said well we have green teas and hibiscus and over there we have spices and things. It was definitely very Ignorant and pompous and definitely a "we don't need your business here" style of customer service. Ursula, you need to do better. We know, YOU'RE NOT A DOCTORS OFFICE. Love this place! I started shopping here for spices when we first found out my boyfriend had a gluten allergy. Most spices you find in a grocery store are made in distribution centers that also make items with gluten so cross contamination is common. Spices here are gluten free which is nice. I used to think Tea and Whisk was the only good tea shop on my side of town. After they moved shop, I was turned on to this place and loved it immediately. It's a bit different than Tea and Whisk in that you can't sit and try different teas or get drinks to go but there is a very wide variety of both specially curated teas, spices, and spice blends. The shop is small but has so many items that you could easily spend over an our looking at everything. I went in specifically to get a gift card for someone else and found myself talking to the owner and checking out their tea blends for nearly an hour. I bought three blends for myself and all of them were winners. I almost can't wait to finish them so I can go back and pick out some new items. One last thing, this is a family run small business and you can tell this just by talking to the owners.
