He is blind and nearly deaf and not the friendliest dog to groom by any means, but she is patient and kind and my baby always looks and feels so much better after his hair cut. It is obvious she loves animals and they love her. I highly recommend!

She is a very skilled groomer, and I have always been pleased with her work in that regard. My concerns are strictly related to the business side of her operation. On multiple occasions, I have actually overpaid for boarding due to calculation errors on her end, and I chose not to dispute them because I wanted to be fair and ensure she was fully compensated for her services. There have also been issues with professionalism. On one occasion, we were instructed to arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. We arrived at 9:29, only to be met outside with our dog's belongings and rushed off the property with clear irritation, as if we had arrived late, which we were not. Most recently, we paid in full upfront--including tip--to secure a four-day boarding stay. Unfortunately, our trip had to be canceled due to severe weather conditions. We did not request a refund. We simply asked that the deposit be applied to another weekend in February. This request was immediately refused. Despite repeatedly clarifying that we were not asking for a refund, she continued to state that she "doesn't offer refunds" and accused us of repeatedly asking her to break her rules. Part of being a successful business owner is not only having the technical skills to perform the service, but also having the ability to work with people and exercise reasonable flexibility. On more than one occasion, we adjusted our schedule to accommodate Jessica's needs. Once, she asked us to reschedule a grooming appointment so she could take her brother to a doctor's appointment while her mother had COVID. On another occasion, she was ill and needed to move our appointment. In both situations, we were understanding and happy to accommodate, because we recognize that life happens. Unfortunately, when the situation was reversed, that same understanding was not extended to us. This rigidity ultimately ended what could have continued to be a long-term, loyal client relationship involving both grooming and boarding services. While she states that this business is her heart, her unwillingness to work with loyal clients when circumstances arise beyond their control suggests otherwise.
