Think twice before send $200 to Shelbo . The waiting list has 15 or 20 names on it.. including mine. Why so many names.. many from 2017..?Although the website DID mention the non-refundable aspect of the deposit we were thrilled at the sight of the new litter and chose to proceed. Sadly we were not 'chosen' for any of those pups. There was a second litter of 2 due a few weeks later. We, again, were passed over. With winter coming I contacted Shelbo and asked for a refund as we had 'moved on' so to speak. Not happening. I have no doubt that many of the people on the list have likewise 'moved on'. Without their $200. You are not putting a deposit(non-refundable) on a dog.. but to be on a list..maybe never to be chosen. The waiting list is a scam that takes advantage of the promise of a new puppy. read more

Do not contract with this breeder. They imply that they have a litter available and require a full deposit. Only later do you find out that are 20 people on the waiting list ahead of you and it may take months or years for you to receive a puppy. Very misleading business practice. read more
