I downloaded yelp just to rant about how horrible this place is. Not only is gas significantly more expensive here than any other gas station, everything inside is marked up an exorbitant amount. They tried to charge me over $5 for a small bag of peanuts that was at most worth $2 at any other store. If that wasn't bad enough, their vape/ smoke products were OVER DOUBLE the standard price found at any other gas station in Texas. When I walked in, it smelled bad, there was junk spilled on the floor, and I almost slipped in a puddle of mysterious liquid near the snacks. I stood at the counter for five minutes before a worker decided I was worth their time. At first they didn't tell me the price, so I asked twice before they told me they were charging over double what they should. Please, if you can help it, never go here. FIVE STARS!! This gas station has recently added Hunts brothers pizza to their store. If you do not know about this pizza I highly recommend you try it, its very popular in south Louisiana and the pizza is quite tasty. I understand it may seem a little off to buy pizza from a gas station but this location also has a Dickey's inside so that may help. I've lived in Dallas for three years and this is the first time I've come across Hunts brothers pizza, so this is a hidden gem. Good chance you'll find me here at least one a week. read more

Employees at this location are shortchanging on a regular basis and it happened (again) to me this evening when going into the store. This shell is wonderful. They have a drive through so you don't even have to get out the car. Location is in the heart of victory park/downtown/uptown.... one of the only gas stations here. The reviews complaining about pricing are ignorant AF. Ignore the broke people complaining about .20 cents they shouldn't be in uptown at all. read more

Was in downtown and needed to fill up. Glanced at the price, $3.28. Not bad since I was seeing $3.35 elsewhere, so I gassed up. Once I got the receipt, I was a bit confused since it was pushing $40+. Biggest rip-off in town - they don't display their gas prices in a way you can see from the street so the unsuspecting customer could pay $0.50 - $1.50 / gallon more than at any other gas station. Also, inside the c-store, they don't have ANY prices displayed. Who thinks to check the price on a bag of chips? Certainly a bag of chips can't cost significantly more than anywhere else, right? NOT AT THIS STORE!! They charge the F*** out of you! This is on all items from chips to a stick of gum. So if you are just picking up a snack and paying with your credit card (so they don't even have to tell you the total, they can just point at the self swipe machine) be careful. Beware!! Not sure if it's the pumps malfunctioning or there is a scam going on. The price at pumps are $1 more a gallon. Complained that I need my $8 back for the overcharge, but the guy said what ever the price is what it is. The highest in the area is $2.99. I would never do business with people that try to scam you. PRICE GOUGING ALERT!! I went into this gas station yesterday (7/3/16) to fill up my tank as I was almost on empty. There are no big signs outside that tell you what the price per gallon is like normal gas stations. I prepaid inside and gave the woman behind the counter $20, which usually fills my tank up. Prices around DFW are roughly $2.19 a gallon for regular. I went outside, hit the regular button and started filling up my tank. I got back in my car and it was only 3/4 full! Naturally, I got out of my car and looked at the price on the pump...$3.23 a gallon!! That's more than a dollar more per gallon than EVERYWHERE ELSE IN DALLAS. I marched right back into the store and asked the woman if someone made a mistake when putting the prices into their systems and she says "that's just our price" with this look on her face that made me want to throat punch her. I told her exactly what was on my mind (lord forgive me), and marched right back out. As I was exiting I noticed this exchange of looks between her and the customer behind me like "sorry about that crazy mothereffer"...I tried contacting Fox News Dallas about it but they kept dropping my calls.
