Had a flat and had to get my tire replaced, which went fine itself, but I was never notified the car was ready, not via phone call, text message or email (which I verified on drop off) And it had been ready for hours before I finally showed up. They got black marks all over my center console, white goo on the bottom of my steering wheel and managed to change every single little possible setting under the sun for my Air Conditioning instead of pressing the big giant "Max AC" button. Discount Tire 3800 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023 In the past I have purchased tires from this location. About a month and a half ago I spent $1,000.00 on tires and tire sensors. The black guy that helped me was great. Today I went today to ask a few questions and get a price on a service. I stood there waiting on help. The manager Keith helped the guy before me. Two younger guys were behind the counter were helping other people. Moron number 1 got a womans keys from her and put them in a plastic sleeve. He handed them to a rough looking tech from the shop and the tech just threw them on a desk, without any care or professionalism. So I'm standing there the two morons behind the counter are just standing there not doing anything. Then a pretty young girl walks in to pick up her car, and they are fighting to help her, and I'm just standing there. I turn to leave and they never say a word to me. I go outside and ask the Moron manager Keith if he is in fact the manager and why I was never helped? He got really defensive and and said, "I will help you, but he was already helping another guy. I told him that this was not the service I expected, and that Firestone was just down the road. He told me that I should go there. I should have known, because the parking lot was almost empty. The Discount Tire at the other end of Spring Creek is much better, and has service people that actual help you. read more

I am currently dealing with a very concerning situation involving the Discount Tire at 3524 Inwood Rd. in Dallas. During service, my original Audi wheel/rim was mistakenly disposed of by the store without my authorization. This left my vehicle operating on a spare while the correct replacement wheel has to be obtained. I have been dealing directly with Store Manager Angelo regarding this situation and have also left messages for Regional Manager Mark Perez as part of my efforts to have everything properly addressed and documented. At this time, my vehicle has been left at the Discount Tire location and remains in their possession while they work to complete the agreed resolution. My understanding is that the resolution includes replacement tires, obtaining and paying for the correct replacement Audi wheel/rim, and addressing the rental vehicle and reimbursement associated with this incident. I appreciate Angelo's efforts to work toward a solution. However, this matter remains pending and is not considered resolved until my vehicle is returned to me with the correct replacement wheel installed, the agreed tires provided, and all rental and reimbursement obligations completed. I will update this review based on Discount Tire's final handling and follow-through. read more

I came in to get 4 new tires today, arriving at 9:30 AM. I had great service from the people behind the counter, however, their service was ridiculously slow. Super friendly, but I genuinely sat here until 1:30 pm waiting for tires. They told me it would be done by 12:45, but at 1:30 they came to me saying the Michelin tires I had already purchased had been sold to another customer. I asked if they could get the warehouse to send some same day, they said no and the only thing they could do is get me different tires if I wanted them today (I'm a teacher and start work tomorrow, so today was my one day to get it done- something I let them know of). They kept saying they would "get me in next" over and over, but nothing happened. I told them I had a Doctor's appointment across town and needed an Uber voucher to go to it. They said they didn't offer them and that they would put me later in the queue so I could take my car. At this point, I was extremely upset because I had spent a solid half of my last day of summer sitting in a discount tire on my phone. My Dad called the manager explaining what happened while I was at my appointment, and the manager said they would get me in at 3pm and knock off $90 from the original tire price (of the alternate tires I didn't really want in the first place). I appreciated the offer, but it didn't fully feel like it compensated for such a waste of time. I pulled up from my appointment at 2:55, waiting in line AGAIN until 3:05. Again I was met with "we're putting you in the queue"- which didn't match the manager's promise. I finally heard back at 3:25 that they were pulling my car into the bay and service would only take 15 minutes. I understand that I would have to wait a bit for new tires, but the fact that I didn't leave until 3:45 pm when they told me to wait here is ridiculous. I spent almost a full work day sitting in a discount tire instead of getting to relax and recharge for my last day. Not to mention the fact that I haven't eaten since 8:30 this morning as I've been stuck here trying to beat the clock before work. Again, the staff is very friendly and do a great job, but if you come here, I would recommend NOT staying with your car. I brought my vehicle to Discount Tire for what should have been a simple tire change. I had two brand-new rear tires that needed to be mounted on the wheels to replace the damaged tires that were on the car when I purchased it. The goal was simply to get the rear tires matched so the car would ride smoothly and evenly. The first issue was pricing. I was quoted $45 total over the phone, but when I arrived they charged $60. I let that go because they were busy and I understand the technicians are working hard. After about an hour and a half, I got the car back and immediately noticed the tire pressure warning light was on as I drove away. I mentioned it to the employee who helped me and was told it would "reset automatically." That turned out to be incorrect. The tire pressures were not even checked or balanced across all four tires, and one of them was significantly low. I had to stop and fill the tire myself to match the others. Then things got worse. A couple days after the visit, I began getting ABS warnings, followed by the brake light and traction control (anti-slip) light flickering, especially when accelerating. These warnings started immediately after the tire installation and are still happening. When I returned to the store to explain the issue, the response I received was essentially that they don't deal with speed sensors and the employees there wouldn't know anything about that, which was frustrating since the problem began right after the tire service. To make matters even more concerning, when I later checked the wheels myself I found that the lug nuts on the passenger rear tire were only lightly tightened and not fully torqued down. That is a serious safety issue that should never happen after a tire installation. At the end of the day, I came in for a simple tire swap and left with warning lights, improperly checked tire pressure, and lug nuts that were not properly tightened. Between the incorrect price quote, poor attention to basic safety details, and the lack of accountability when I brought the issue back to them, I would not trust this location with my vehicle again. Today, upon calling, I was notified they "found a bend in my rim." When I dropped my car off everything was perfect and I have videos and pics. I have run flats and never drove on the rim. Wait for it....no really you're going to wait for a very long time. Apparently the manager likes to stay huddled in his office no matter how many people are out in the main area waiting in line to get help - That is just not right. They don't listen too well on the phone either, I called ahead with my exact tire size, vehicle make, model & year & they told me they didn't have anything for it so I called another store in Irving & they told me that the store I had originally called @ Inwood/Lemmon had plenty of tires in the 265/45R 20 range. Matt at the Irving store was very helpful so much so that I remembered his name, can't say that about the Inwood/Lemmon Ave. store where I don't remember anyone I talked to. When I got back to the Inwood store I had to wait, & wait, & wait, & wait, & wait, & wait, & wait. I'm not sure what they talk to the customers about because I was only up at the counter for less than 15 minutes but others were there for like half an hour just blabbing & yammering away about who knows what. It was a surreal I'm in the matrix type of bullshit scenario as if I was tripped up on Psilocybin or even some mild LSD. I waited so long I gained weight!!. But that's not the half of it, then there was a waiting game of almost 2 hours while I had to wait outside which is fine I guess because it wasn't oven setting "broiler" outside this time. The driveway is jammed full of double park cars because apparently their parking lot is not big enough to accommodate their business which could be a good thing or a bad thing. Thankfully? There's a Braum's ice cream store located just across the minimalist parking lot for Discount tire company on the other side of a self storage facility. Oh & "DISCOUNT" is a misnomer. My 2 tires totalled to almost $1000.00!. At least Braum's ice cream store has a parking lot triple the size of discount tire company. Never saw the manager come out of that office the entire time I was there....Whereas I did see several employees going in to the office & coming back out & just shuffling around with almost a blank stare on their faces - I'm in my 60s so maybe I'm just a grumpy old grandpa who's black pilled & jaded-af. Everytime I go to this location, they lose a wheel lock or a car emblem. I need to stop going cuz I don't feel like fixing what they did. I got my tires rotation done here last year. They lost a wheel lock and didn't tell me. I've been driving with a missing nut bolt for a year. I came in this last weekend to get tire rotation and they told me it was missing. The only people who ever take my wheels apart is you. So it was you who lost my nut bolt. I had to go buy new bolt to replace them. Also the same time, they lost my car brand emblem in the wheel. I had to buy a pack of four off Amazon and gorilla glue it back in. They lost it again the second time. I had to replace that thing twice now. So careless and needs to do better read more

Unfortunately, this review didn't allow for "Zero" stars and I would highly encourage leadership to follow through with their commitments (Because They Said They Would). When I bought a new tire from here, the manager told me I had to "take it next door to get my tires rotated" maybe it's store policy based or they changed it, but I used to go to the discount tires in grapevine and they ask you or will take the liberty to rotate your tires free of charge. read more
