I had no idea that it would be also the friendliest gas station in the entire Seattle area. I just about fell over when the only employee working actually said good morning to me when I walked inside. As I'm sure you have experienced, typically gas station employees around here never greet you and do the bare minimum possible. He was also walking around the store and actually doing work. When I checked out, he actually made iContact and smiled, which again never happens, and he thanked me for my business. What?!?!?! If I lived in this area, I would become a loyal customer to this business, just because of the customer service If you have a choice, definitely come here it would be worth the extra couple minute drive to support a business that actually cares about their customers

In my 2010 Toyota Corolla maneuvering in and out of the pumping stall was simple, I had to realign my car after turning in to the gas station to be well positioned relative to the non-diesel pump but it was not a hassle and there was ample room to do so. Prices, at least when I came today on Saturday the 23rd of January 2021, were competitive with other lower priced gas stations in the Edmonds-Woodway and Richmond Beach area. It is in a perfect location if driving around Edmonds from some place south of Edmonds (I was coming from south - City of Shoreline specifically) and needing to fuel up one's vehicle. The pumping area was clean with posted notices about social distancing in regards to COVID-19. Window washing supplies were located next to the pumps as was a garbage receptacle.

The aisles were a little closer together and had a variety of offerings in each of the different categories of items on the shelves. Warm/prepared food items were available as were fresh donuts. What caught my eye on my candy-seeking pursuit was a king size pink lemonade KitKat bar. They had some other limited edition candy offerings including the Reese's medals that are on the shelves in-sync with the 2024 Summer Olympic Games (opening ceremony on Friday 26 July 2024). I was at the counter waiting to pay and noticed that particular item... While alluring, it was the KitKat I went with as the Games had yet to begin. The cashier was warm and friendly in her demeanor. Parking was located directly out front of the store and off to one side. I had difficulty seeing one patron when backing out, though fortunately he saw me, so there was no collision.

I tried to redeem my points, but they kept telling me no. I was confused about why, so I asked, and he got angry and said I didn't have enough. I know I did because the points were showing on the screen, and then he switched them to payment. When I asked again, he got even madder. So, be warned: they'll take your money and be incredibly rude.

He always seems friendly and appears to like his job. In the evenings, a young man works the counter (I'm assuming the son or grandson of the man from the morning). He is either surly or indifferent about anyone shopping at the store. I make it my personal mission to ask him lots of pointless questions about nothing in particular and to be as cheerful as possible. I'm sure he thinks I'm crazy, but the look on his face when I walk in the store is like getting two bucks off the six pack of beer that I'm just about to buy. Last time I was there he had a friend with him behind the counter and they were both playing game-boys like a couple of 12 year old boys. I asked him what they were playing and he mumbled something about different games... Not sure what that means, so I asked him how much they charged for a $1 lottery ticket then bought a candy bar and walked out. Please note: If you want to use a credit card you have to buy more then $10 in a single purchase.

Going into the process, I was prepared for the usual dealership stress pressure, upselling, weird sales tactics, all of that but that was not what I experienced here. A big part of that was Kevin Hansen, who was kind, patient, professional, and very easy to work with. I came in already knowing what I wanted to do, and instead of trying to steer me in a completely different direction, he actually listened and helped me through the process in a way that felt respectful and straightforward. I never felt swindled, rushed, or pressured into anything, and that made a huge difference for me. Overall, the team at Lexus of Seattle made the experience feel much smoother and more comfortable than I expected. Buying a car can be exhausting, but this felt surprisingly low-stress and well handled. If you're nervous about the dealership experience and want to work with someone who treats you like a person instead of just another sale, I'd definitely recommend checking them out and asking for Kevin.

For context, I do not live locally but was seriously interested in a vehicle they had listed. From the beginning, the staff were rude, condescending, and extremely difficult to work with. Simple questions were met with short, dismissive responses, and the overall tone felt adversarial instead of helpful. I first spoke with Farhad, then asked to work with a different sales representative, after I asked him three times if we could communicate on a phone, not just through email, and was connected with Mark, who also solely communicated through text. I am new to buying from a dealership and navigating financing, and even basic questions were met with clear frustration and miscommunication. It honestly felt like they did not want to sell me a car. After speaking with the manager, Damon, it completely confirmed my decision not to move forward. He was short, dismissive, and condescending, and made no effort to acknowledge or improve the experience. Buying a car should feel professional and collaborative, not uncomfortable or combative. I ultimately walked away because it did not feel right to continue under those conditions. I would encourage anyone considering Lexus of Seattle to pay close attention to how you are treated throughout the process, not just the pricing. I trusted my gut and decided to take my business elsewhere.
