I had thought the wax was something else, but now I know it was a zap, and the scratches might have been from small rocks when we came back from places. Very convenient location, next to many stores and businesses. The folks in Edmonds tell me that Kwick N Kleen is the only car wash in town. That being so, makes it a sure chance of getting my car wash business. I've been through their service several times with good results. This last time was especially good. I'm thinking that the service team spent more time on the pre-wash before I actually entered the automated wash. The price without a gas purchase discount was under $12. Can't get the bucket and brush out for that small price in the driveway back at the house. read more

Great spot to get your car cleaned. The staff sprays down your car before you enter the wash which helps to remove the bugs and other fun stuff from your grill. The car wash does a good job of getting your ride shiny and clean. Vacuums are located to the side of the wash and are strong enough to vacuum up all of the goldfish cracker crumbs your kids have left in your backseat AND the dirt y'all trekked in after your last hike. Summertime can bring long lines, but the staff get you through pretty quick. read more

He let me know that there was an error in the website updating and it reverted to an old pricing page. the company that manages the company website is fixing the pricing and the owner agreed that the employee who refused to honor the posted and advertised pricing should not have taken that position. I want to say a great job as an owner for taking responsibility for an error and going the extra step in calling the customer (me) to explain, Thank you. Original post. I looked up this business online today and came down for a special car wash. the price on the website was $9.18 plus tax (5/27/2023)when I got there they said The price was $11.xx and Mark the manager said that he would not honor the price on their website. I showed him the website on my phone and he did not care and even told me I was no longer a customer or welcome since I was arguing about their pricing error. This is both a very poor customer service issue (this posting to Google reviews) and a violation of WA state law RCW 19.94.390 "price not to be misleading, deceiving or misrepresented as advertised." Because of this, I have reported Kwick'N Klean to the WA state attorney general office of consumer affairs based on their website's advertised prices (not even under the specials page but under just car wash) this business fails the 2% rule under WA State consumer pricing laws 9 prices of your car wash packages on line are wrong (of to the best I can tell all 9 of your car wash prices when a consumer shows up. My rating does not reflect the quality of the service. Why? Because this is not a brushless car wash. I go to one just south of Seatac airport and am looking for an alternative when I am in the Edmonds area. I wasted 12 miles or so of driving from downtown Seattle because this business calls itself "brushless." Isn't it false advertising when I get there and cars are getting washed by four giant automatic brushes? That's exactly what I wanted to avoid. Anyway, pricing starts at $9.75 and goes up to $15.75. They use RainX. It seems to be new or at least well maintained and popular. There was a line practically from the street all the way to the back of the lot where you enter the single wash bay. There is a gas station also. Discount is given when combining gas purchase with a car wash. Arriving from the 5 (East), make an immediate right turn onto the lot. I will not have my car washed here because I spent hours getting scratches from other car wash places out of my car's paint. Been there, done that, not going to risk it again. When I think brushless, I think power jet sprays. This ain't it. read more

Went on with a dirty white car a few days ago and paid for the Ultimate wash. Told the young Many to please pay special attention to back end and top of car when they sprayed. Sure he said. Good car wash in Edmonds that starts out with a high pressure wash by a couple dudes on either side of your car, then you go through the automatic car wash which definitely has the huge brushes. Unsure about the name of this place so making that clear. Price is fair, and they usually have a coupon in the Valpak coupon book. I recommend buying a car wash inside the mini mart or while you are buying gas. The kids working the car wash are a little flaky about the prices. Unlike other places, Kwick N Kleen has employees who spray and wipe down your car before you enter the automated car wash. This really helps to get rid of bugs on the front of the car and dirt on the back end of the car. This place is nice consistent a quick. However I'm a little irritated that there was a big gas spill in front of one of the pumps. I thought it was water from the car wash but it was gas. So today I part ways with my expensive suede boots because now they have a huge gas stain on them. Wish they would've cleaned it up right away instead of waiting for someone to pull up to that pump. Scratches ALL over my new car!!! I bought a new car a few weeks ago ( by far the nicest car I've ever owned) and this place left MANY big uniform scratches all over the trunk and down the sides of the car connecting the trunk to the roof! Some are so deep, I can feel it with my fingernail. They are noticeable and can't believe they would be so negligent with their services to do this to people's cars. This is NOT okay and just bad business. I paid money to have them scratch the hell out of my car. Now I have to take it to an auto body shop and pay money to attempt to get the scratches out. Unless you want your car to get scratched up, avoid this place! I'm going to file a claim with the BBB, they need to be held accountable for this damage! read more

PRICE: There are a variety of options and pricing for this carwash, however a sign makes it clear that if you pay less than fifteen, you won't get very much. I opted for a package that was $16 something and promised "the works". USABILITY: There is an attendant that hoses down your car and guides you into the machine. I appreciated this, since I'm always antsy that I'll do something wrong or go too soon. EFFECTIVENESS: For $16, I was disappointed by the job that was done. I could have used a much cheaper carwash and achieved the same results. Dirt on the windows was missed, and I saw numerous dust smudges remaining along the body. Great place to gas up, drink up and clean up. Everyone is very nice and you have a few perks by being a customer. 1. Free coffee with your fill up. You pay $1.25-$2.25 for a drip anywhere else, but here it is FREE. On a 10 gallon fill up that is like saving $0.25 per gallon. 2. Seasonal treats. Go inside to pay for your gas and depending on the time of year, there is always some kind of FREE treat offered. (butter cookies, mints, red licorice, etc...) 3. Everything you need to get your car clean. From the pre-wash spray down by attendants, to carpet shampooers, vacuums, air, trash and restrooms. I was just there on Saturday 4/27/2013. The wash left my car covered in tiny hairline scratches. While I was going through the wash I felt like the brushes were spinning way too fast and were beating the side/top of my car fairly hard. After leaving the wash, I noticed many scratches all over the car: hood, roof, doors, trunk. I had just bought the car a few weeks ago, and I am 100% certain that there were no scratches going into the wash. I'll never be going here again. read more

This place gets 5 stars for getting the vehicle clean, unlike some no-contact places. The spinning shammy action does an effective job at cleaning. Unfortunately, both times we've come to Kwik N Kleen (call me a slow learner) our vehicle has been damaged. The first fail was damage to our front driver's-side wheel. If you have a low-profile tire: BEWARE!!! The combination of lack of direction and/or confusing hand signals by the attendant directing me into the yellow track cause my aluminum rim to be big-time scratched when it rubbed on the yellow pipe on each side of the track since my vehicle was apparently not aligned very well with the track. The second fail: The car wash machine can probably can keep away from the front left corner of the vehicle which is in the track that moves the vehicle through the machine. But as for the right rear corner, well the machine apparently guessed wrong when it decided to turn the corner and switch from rubbing the side of our long and wide Expedition EL to rubbing the back - we received 2 dents on the vertical corner post between the rear glass and trunk hatch. In talking to the car wash manager the next day, he assured me that the laser measuring system in the car wash would not allow this to happen. I'm not going to risk the calibration of his "lasers" a third time. read more

Took my "new" 2015 Volvo to have it washed (after using this car wash on my 2006 Subaru for many years) and to my horror there are now three large scratches in my roof. One of the scratches was down to the metal and a mm in width. All scratches run front to back and are between 3 inches and a foot long. this is the only place I trust to get my car washed. I used to go to brown bear car wash, but always ended up with a bent license plate, lost wiper, etc. Never had a problem with that here. The attendants are always super friendly. Tip - go here later at night (they close at 9pm) and they will do a more thorough spray down of your car since it's not as busy. The wash isn't perfect - I've definitely had missed spots - but for what you pay, it's a good deal. read more

Was there today. When I pulled in some of the gas pumps were covered with yellow tape. I was sort of confused. I wanted some gas but I needed a carwash more. I noticed the carwash was open but wasn't sure about the gas. I pulled up into the line of cars waiting for a wash. While I was sitting there I watched a woman pull in to what she thought was an open gas pump. Some guy comes out and yells "Lady NO!!! NO gas!!!" Not "Oh ma'am I am sorry for the inconvenience. Here is what happening, etc, etc. No just a rude shout and no help directing her out through the confusing tape blocking the exit lines. "What a rude ***!" I thought. She only wanted to be a customer. In the meantime, after more than 5 mins or so, I am slowly moving up ti the second position in the carwash line. Finally the guy comes out to take my "order." I start to hand him my debit card to which he says, "Cash only." I don't have cash. And, to add insult to injury I had to wait until the car in front of me to enter the carwash before I could make my escape. If you guys can't be customer focused enough to put up a 6 word sign "CARWASH OPEN, NO GAS, CASH ONLY" and avoid yelling at an old woman, I can't be bothered to be your customer anymore. Then, they had the nerve to tell us that it was chipped after spraying it, acting like it was already there!
