I asked around and found this was the old school car wash where you can do it yourself. Funny I didn't realize how many people still go to self serve car washes because it was packed! There was about 4-5 lanes and you have to get tokens to operate the wands. The machine takes cash and credit card. The tokens are $1 each and gives you a certain amount of time. So the more time you need, the more tokens you should purchase. I say, come with patience because as I said this place was crowded and depending on who's in front of you, your wait time will vary. I got out the car while I was waiting to get my tokens before it was my turn but I did see a guy pull in to the bay and then go get his tokens. The guy I was behind started busting out his buffering tools and wax so I waited quite a bit for him to finish! But he did add a couple tokens when he left and told me to pull in! I will come back like on a Tuesday morning.

I arrived and immediately went inside to attack the touchscreen. I want to point out here that this was prior to Sheetz removing tots from their menu. Actually mere days before they did so. I made sure to order my fair share of tots. I got myself a tots platter and an appetizer with tots as a part of the trio. I ordered a few other items and made my way to pay. After paying I waited for my food to be prepared. This was a decent end to the run and made for the end of my day after shopping and stopping well worth it. I sat there in anticipation of my food and maybe salivated a bit. I got lost in my thoughts until I heard my number yelled out. After my food was ready I went outside to set up the appetizer in my vehicle to eat on the ride home. I stuck around a bit before getting in my vehicle to set the GPS (I still get lost down here). On my way home, I enjoyed every morsel of the appetizer. When I got into my apartment, I made short work of the rest of the food. Great end to a long day.

I left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. I understand ID checks are required, but there's a professional way to do it. Management needs to train their employees on how to treat customers with respect. I will be reporting this to Sheets corporate!!

I walked right in, was immediately greeted by the clerk, handed him my cash and let him know I wanted to buy some "scratchers." He advised just to call out the numbers when I was ready. No problem! Called out the numbers, he rang me up and I was on my way. Effortless transaction executed with efficiency. I did not get gas (already had a full tank) or use the car wash (it was raining, and based on the other review, yikes!) but he inside was clean. There is really nothing else that could have gone wrong, the clerk was friendly and even cracked a few jokes. The only down side is getting out of the gas station since it is right by the traffic light. When in doubt just turn right, it will save you a traffic headache.
