Typical gas station. Foodmart was stocked with all the good snack and beverage options. Went in just for snacks & a drink, got an Arizona and a bag of hot Cheetos. Prices slightly higher than usual. Cashier didn't even acknowledge me, him and another cashier were in a deep conversation. He scanned my items while they conversed. Paid & left. There's also a Popeyes in the same establishment, convenient. read more

Juan the cashier at the food mart for this shell gas station refused to let my fiancé who walked over 2 blocks to just try and get to a restroom. He said the lock wasn't working and when she said she didn't mind it , he still refused. As several other people have mentioned, don't use your credit or debit card at the pumps. Considering all the feedback, I'm actually suspicious that the thief isn't employed at the station. I was hacked several times before I determined that this was the origin of the thefts. read more

I walked into this gas station to buy an alcohol beverage on 04/12/2020 at 5:35pm when I approached the gentlemen cashier who disrespectfully snatched the beverage out of my hands but he also refused to asked for my Identification Card even after I reminded him it would like to see my ID! The gentleman answer with the amount due and I kindly paused and asked again that if he wanted to see my Identification? This gentleman refused to obey company policy and broke the law! I am dumbfounded by this gentleman's actions and I think SHELL should take serious actions on this employees negligence, and the city of Paramount should conduct a thorough investigation on this facility to make sure they are not selling Alcohol to minors! This gas station feels that they can come up with their own lottery rules so if you're trying to cash any tickets that they ticket they're gonna give you a ticket versus exchanging it for the cash which is stupid. The rules are clear when it comes to the lottery. You just don't want to pay out your cash you greedy M F'S. Your clerks act all rude too. Hope y'all don't get raided. read more

I would always pump at this gas station because its 2 blocks from my house & in the morning im rushing out to work. In the past 3-5 months they've done fraud on my credit/debit cards (whichever card i used) 3 times already. I didn't notice they first time because it was around Thanksgiving Black Friday so i thought that maybe from those purchases they commited fraud but the second time i pumped gas, 2 days later the same thing happened. *ATTENTION* DO NOT PAY AT THE PUMP!!!!!! In a matter of a couple of days, my Husband & I both had our Credit Card information stolen from the pumps at this Station. I was 1st made aware of this by a really nice lady who was pumping gas but because I was in a rush I went ahead & swiped my card at the pump. The next day my Husband was contacted by his Bank notifying him someone ATTEMPTED to use his card & that he needed to get a new card, 2 days later I was contacted by my Bank notifying me someone ATTEMPTED to use my card, after they had already used it to charge over $600 at 4 different stores in Compton. Now, onto my review MINUS THE PUMP DRAMA.........I have been a customer of this Station for YEARS! It used to be a Mobil Station & then it was HORRIBLE the pumps were slow, the place was filthy & a majority of the Employees were rude. Now that it's a Shell Station, the pumps work good, it's always clean (even the restroom) & the Employees are nice, even the 1 Employee who is still there from the Mobil who was the RUDEST is nice & professional now. I went inside to get gas and noticed that the food mart inside had a restroom, so I helped myself before getting gas and took a chance. Wrong. Choice. I walked inside and there was what appeared to be dirty/muddy water all over the ground/walls/sink/toilet, no toilet paper, no toilet seat covers, and the entire restroom just smelled vile. I was wondering when the last time anyone even bothered to look in there to clean or restock because it appeared to have been like that a while. Well, turns out I was right. Employees don't give a s*** at all. I walked out (without using the bathroom) and walked up to the cashier to pay for my gas. In a very friendly tone, I said "your women's bathroom is--" before the asian dude at the cashier's desk interrupted me with "I know." Okay... I gave him the benefit of the doubt and tried again, but firmer this time. He wouldn't even look me in the eye when I spoke to him or give me the time of day. "There's no toilet paper or toilet seat covers--" "Yeah okay" "Okay but it's also covered in what appears to be feces. It's disgusting." "Okay, I get it." Okay. Point taken, you don't give a s***, literally. Never coming back for gas again, now that I've read about the stolen credit card info from other reviews too. The guy from night shift is an unprofessional employee. I worked in a gas station so I know practically how the system works & im explaining to him what's wrong with my pump & he interrupts me twice and try's to make me feel like I'm stupid and don't know how to use a pump ! This location is two street's away from me and right off the freeway so very convenient for me but I too have had my credit card information stolen twice in the last 5 months, the last time it pin pointed to this place since it was the only place I used my freshly new card. I was told by my bank that gas stations are prone to theft and if the red safety seal's are broken don't use the pump. Very recently I pumped gas here and noticed all red safety sticker's were broken or completely missing dead giveaway, I walked in and paid. Now I'm getting to the reason I'm writing this, I asked the attendant nicely if they ever replace or have the pumps checked after the seals are shown to be tampered with, he looked a me and said "NO" then added "I wouldn't use my card out there". He went on to say that they have had ton's of complaints and the owner does nothing about it.
