I come here all the time with my company car to fill up and get a car wash at least once a week. I go inside to ask for air for my tire and they wanna charge me 2.50 for air. I waste money here weekly car wash gas and I recommended this gas station to my co workers never again. I will be redirecting my co workers elsewhere. Do not get a car wash here!! It's very delayed and the wait was a little under an hour. I get gas here often and decided to get a car wash but it was the worst mistake I had made. Just went in for a car wash. After 30 seconds I hear a loud bang. It was the sound of the spinning mechanism slamming into my car. The whole wash stopped. I pulled out with my soap covered car only to see my bumper knocked out of place and a dent in the hatch ! All they did was come outside to point out a sign saying they are not liable. No refund, even. Had the nerve to offer me another wash. This place is awful. This $8 wash just turned into a VERY expensive repair. read more

I come here for an express wash when I don't have time to wait for a real car wash. Got the 4.99 wash and while it was washing I was like WHERE ARE THE RAINBOW BUBBLES?? I'm guessing it's for the 6.99 wash The 4.99 once did me well, but when I got home I noticed scratches on my car that weren't there before so I had to get a wet cloth and rub them out. can't really say you get what you pay for because it washed it pretty well and left it shiny. I've never gotten gas here, but since I noticed the false advertising they do I will steer clear from this gas station. I don't think it's right to advertise one price on a giant billboard and then give the real price on a small sign with an explanation. See the photo attached. I think most reasonable people would assume $3.69 was the price for gasoline at this station, or at least assume this was the cash price. Nope, seems you have to buy a car wash. Deceptive business strategies like this really irritate me, and it reflects poorly on Shell as a company. I hope they are cited for false advertising. I will probably make an effort to other gas stations, since Shell seems alright with misleading and scamming people. Hi, I'm writing this to assert my discontent and disgust with this place as well as the owner David, and "Jose". They sold me a broken DEFECTED flum bar. They have the whole transaction on video, they never gave me a receipt ("I see why now they're selling defected Flums"); so I went in, talked to whoever was their. They called the owner and he said come today and he'll find the receipt in their database n he'll refund me. Instead, I drive an hour from Orange County for this guy Jose to tell me that the owner said no refund and when I asked for the # he said he can't provide me with that; when I asked how to make a complain he said there's no numbers and he doesn't know how to file a complaint. Biggest rip off in town!! Price on the sign said 3.33 a gallon, but since I used my debit card it jumped to 3.39 a gallon (6 cents more for a debit transaction!!!!). Then ... And this really ticked me off... About 1/4 mile up the road on the left.... ARCO was 3.25 a gallon. So I paid like 15 cents more per gallon than I could have if I had known about the ARCO being so close. Never Again!!!! read more

The machine is always having issues, apparently they don't take credit/debit card at the pay station outsiDe the carwash. When there is clearly and credit card machine to slide your card or use Apple Pay had to physically get out of my car while there was a line to pay inside. I've been meaning to write a review for this place but I always forget. Now I finally get the chance. BEWARE, this place has shady and deceptive business practices. The cost they post up is not what you will pay. You will likely only find out the true price after your car is already parked next to the pump. The advertised rate is with car wash included. Why do they put this up and not their normal price? It's obvious that they are misleading the customer. Additionally, there have been several times with malfunctioning pumps (like getting charged for intermittent/unsteady flow) or malfunctioning credit card readers that they don't bother fixing. Really irritating having to scan and rescan your card multiple times because the machine has errors in reading or it lags too much to respond in time before it times out. read more

Even though Shell is known for its premium gas, this Shell station is old and needs updating. There are constantly pumps that are out of order and sometimes the tamper seals on the pumps that shouldn't be broken are broken. My biggest complaint about this station is that the prices they advertise are prices with a car was. For example today on the digital sign it said that regular was $2.39 a gallon with car wash, but without it was $2.69 and the only way of knowing that if after pulling into the station and at the pump. I wish they would advertise both prices on their signs. read more

A lot of people need to recognize that certain stations and particular brands WATER THEIR GAS DOWN. Not Shell though. This station is one of my go-to spots when I'm feeling lazy and not willing to drive down to the Shell on Broadway which is always cheaper than this one. The sign that posts the gas price is not the actual price you pay if you pay with debit or credit, granted I know that there is a fee for this, but by law the owner must post the cash and the debit/credit price , instead he only posts the cash price, and on a small cardboard looking hidden sign on the floor (I posted a pic) there's the actual price, and sometimes it's not even the current one like today as a matter of fact , the cashier will give you the actual gas price. The CHEAPEST gas station around...it's always at least 5 or 6 cents less than the next cheapest gas in the area. It's also convenient since it's centrally located on Huntington (great for LAC USC workers/students) and it takes credit cards, unlike ARCO, which seriously waters down their gas. read more
