When I observed this, I immediately notified the staff that I do not eat dairy/cheese and politely explained that I could not accept food contaminated by the cheese falling into the proteins.Instead of offering to correct the cross-contamination or remake the meal using uncontaminated ingredients from the back, the staff completely refused to accommodate me or correct the issue. This forced me to walk away from my order.Dropping cheese directly into the meat bins creates a massive allergen hazard for any subsequent customer who requires a dairy-free meal. They had all sorts of soft drinks and other drinks plus regular and sweet tea. The store had tons of drinks, juices and flavored water in bottles and cans. They also had a plethora of snacks-sweet, salty, healthy and otherwise! There is also a Dunkin Donut shop inside the Circle K with donuts and coffee drinks. The restroom was clean. The cashier was a hoot. And I definitely stopping here if on the road. I will stop here again if I'm ever through this way again!
