Since it is a Shell gas station you can collect the Air Miles reward miles here. Service here can also be a bit slow at times if there is a lineup, but the folks are friendly and always helpful!

Being from The States, sometimes I have difficulty using foreign petrol stations. The payment…read moremethods are different, the prices are listed in cents, and fuel is pumped by the litre, not by the gallon. Not only did this Shell station have the lowest fuel price in Elmira, but the clerks were friendly too. My card wasn't working at the pump, so the machine told me to go inside. The clerk said the pump was having problems accepting a credit card from The States, so she rang me up manually. Unfortunately, another problem occurred when I left the gas pump in the car when I walked inside; the register wasn't able to complete the transaction until the pump was hung up. A second attendant quickly made her way outside, put the pump back, and event screwed on my gas cap and shut the gas hatch. Both ladies did it all with a smile. Now that's service!

Parking is still the same. What I liked so much is that the workers were always cheerful, with this last management change, the 3rd shift is overworked and tired. I like the workers but I see the detrimental effect the new management has on the place and workers.

This is really unacceptable as far as I am concerned. If you don't sell the product, then don't display the product. Why are you wasting my time?? BUYER BEWARE!!!! I was going to fill up gas and I had notice the sign showed gas at 87.9, and as…read moreusual I pull in and go inside to pay for my gas. As I start filling up I notice on the gas pump it actually says 89.9 not 87.9, I had already pre paid for the gas so as I finish pumping gas. I go back into the station and tell the lady that the sign says 87.9 but the pump says 89.9. She replied that I had come after they changed the sign and it was actually 89.9 when you filled up!! I said no and then she replied "well what do you want me to do" I said I would like you to honour the price it actually says on your sign!!! That would be false advertising!!! Then she replied that "she could not do anything and she would not honour the price on the sign". I told her that I would never return to fill gas!! So as I left the station 2 other women were filling gas and I had mention to they my situation and they both had notice as well and had did the same thing as I did, fill gas at the pump price of 89.9 but the noticed the sign saying 87.9!! And they both also went in and told the person working and was told the same thing that they would not honour the gas price that was advertised on the sign!!!! VERY BAD BUSINESS!!!!!!!
